Pioneer Lord: Starting From Daily Intelligence

Chapter 938: Chapter 123: Aeliria’s Submission and the Scale of the Expeditionary Army (Part 2)

Hilude immediately came forward to support his arm and then gently massaged his damaged back muscles, asking, ”Lord, how are you feeling?”

Su Li couldn’t afford to lose face in front of the woman he cherished most, so he immediately straightened up. However, the pain in his waist made him involuntarily groan again, taking a deep breath.

Fortunately, he was in a good mood, and he turned his head to glance at Aeliria, who was lying on a soft bed with a tear-stained face, evoking sympathy as she slept deeply. He gave a smug smile and said, ”The results were very good; Aeliria has agreed to be my mount in the upcoming war of the Blue Mirror Territory.”

Su Li had exerted all his efforts to achieve this agreement.

He hadn’t expected at first that Aeliria would be so resistant to the idea of being someone’s mount.

Though initially, he had effortlessly used the effects of the Love Potion to constantly breach Aeliria’s bottom line, she signed a series of inequitable treaties with him while sobbing dramatically.

But getting her to serve as a mount, carrying him to lead the army, attacking the Blue Mirror Territory, to be a true complete Dragon Knight, rather than just a ”Dragon Knight” version of the Little Dragon Girl, this woman showed extraordinary stubbornness, tightly biting her lips in silence every time Su Li asked.

No matter how Su Li coaxed her, she clamped her teeth and refused to yield.

In the end, Su Li administered a strong dose, simply forcing three bottles of Bathed in Fire Rose on her, making every inch of her skin extremely sensitive, where the stimulation from her lover felt magnified a hundredfold.

The triple intense stimulation of emotion, physiology, and drugs ultimately made this woman, transformed from a Green Dragon, succumb. She didn’t have the strong willpower of a human Divine Chosen Knight and was forced to sign the unequal treaties.

Though she was Divine Chosen Level, in terms of reason, she was far inferior to the Sun Goddess’s Champion Knight, Freya.

Freya understood clearly that when she couldn’t firmly refuse Su Li’s advances from the beginning, it was better to go along with whatever he wanted.

Because that’s how it is with women; if they don’t firmly refuse from the start and find themselves passive rather than taking the lead in a relationship, and gently accede to a man’s requests, then they would ultimately see their boundaries continuously crossed.

Anyway, she was destined to be his sooner or later; she might as well agree from the start, pleasing him and preventing her own suffering.

Thinking of Freya, Su Li asked, ”Isn’t the Expeditionary Corps about to depart? We promised Freya that this Expeditionary Army would depart in the name of the Sun Goddess.”

Hilude nodded and said, ”The Expeditionary Army will set out tomorrow; we announced at the award ceremony of the Radiant Competition Festival that we would prepare for a cycle, and the Expeditionary Army would depart on time; tomorrow is the last day.”

Su Li drank a bottle of Endurance Potion to restore his physical condition, and after feeling that the issue of the back injury was greatly relieved, he told Hilude, ”Assemble the Commander-in-Chief of the Expeditionary Army, the Vice Commander-in-Chief, and the Leaders of several Knight Orders to come over. Let’s discuss the Holy Great Expedition.”

Hilude, as the High-tier Attendant Chief, one of her main duties was to arrange Lord’s schedules and meetings.

She was already adept in this area, and in less than half an hour, just as Su Li finished breakfast, all the personnel summoned had arrived in the meeting room.

When Su Li entered the meeting room, the six people stood up neatly, all saluting Su Li with the classic gesture of the Sun Goddess Church.

This showed how important a role the Sun Goddess Church played in this expedition.

Then Su Li waved his hand, sat down on the chair, and calmly said, ”Please sit, everyone. The reason I’ve called you here today is mainly to discuss the preparation matters for the Expeditionary Army.”

At the moment, these six people were closely related to the Expeditionary Army, namely the Commander-in-Chief Handsome Gilles, Vice Commander-in-Chief and Deputy Leader of the Red Night Knight Order, Knight Connor.

Also, the Corona Knight Order Leader Constantine, Deputy Leader Freya. Arrow of Light Knight Order Leader Alfred and Deputy Leader Silvana.

Undoubtedly, these people were extremely closely related to Su Li; they were either relatives, close friends, in-laws, or women of Su Li.

Su Li felt very assured entrusting the Expeditionary Army to them.

You can’t blame Su Li for employing his kin. In this dark and desperate world, betrayal and corruption are commonplace. Among the many lords in the Border Prince’s Territory, perhaps half have died due to rebellions among their subordinates.

Of course, while trying to win people’s hearts as much as possible, Su Li would also select capable and virtuous ones.

For instance, the most crucial Commander-in-Chief of this army, Handsome Gilles, was one of Su Li’s most important talents selected.

He was a knight who followed the Sun Goddess faithful into the Hesse Territory and had no deep ties with Su Li, but due to his outstanding commanding ability, in his first battle, he led a small team of knights, charging into thousands of defeated troops, slaughtering over a hundred retreating Human-Skinned Wolves in one go, killing three Gnoll Chiefs, and captured over fifty Ogre Mercenaries serving the Green Dragon.

Then, gloriously promoted in this battle to Champion Knight of the Sun Goddess, he was greatly valued by Su Li, who gave him one of the three Tiger-striped Griffin eggs brought back from the Green Dragon’s Nest as his advanced mount, the Tiger Soul Calamity Stripes.
