Pioneer Lord: Starting From Daily Intelligence

Chapter 907: Chapter 115: Acquisition of Top-Tier Unit: Hammer of War—Sulfur Gun

Demster may be a bit comedic, but he’s still quite reliable in handling affairs.

Just as he said, since he joined the Territory, he’s always taken on the most arduous combat tasks. Yet despite this, he has never failed any task entrusted to him by Su Li.

He brought back all 12 chests of wealth from the Ghost Pirate Ship, and Su Li immediately asked him excitedly, ”How are the yields this time?”

Demster shrugged, ”Most of the materials on the Pirate Ship have decayed, including combat weapons, navigation tools, and the inventory in the bottom cabin. Essentially, everything turns to ashes upon touch. However, the 12 chests of Gold Coins are eternal and indestructible, among which there are more than 11,000 Imperial Golden Crowns, over 8,700 Arabi Ancient King Coins, and a total exceeding 2,300 Dwarf Oath Golds!”

”Arabi Ancient King Coins?” Su Li suddenly showed interest; it was the first time he had seen so many of this currency.

It’s the first time seeing such a quantity, not the first time seeing this currency; the Empire’s foreign relations are still quite smooth, including adventurers, merchant caravans, and even colonizers who expand everywhere, always bringing back all kinds of currencies from various directions.

Su Li even holds Zhendan’s currency in his hands. Indeed, this world is very large; though there are fierce and savage Sea Demons in the Endless Sea, they never deter the adventurous hearts of Knights.

These powerful Knights sail warships, slicing through waves, and can even travel all the way to Lusichia Rainforest. All dangers and difficulties cannot stop their pursuit of wealth.

So Knights are very familiar with Arabi’s currency, and Demster casually said, ”This should be an armed merchant ship or pirate ship traveling between Arabi and the Empire. As you know, there is essentially little distinction between the two.”

”The Arabi Ancient King Coin is high in quality and is a form of Gold Coin. The exchange rate with Imperial Golden Crown fluctuates around 100:120. Within our Hesse City and Flash Spear City, there are trading centers and banks offering exchanges provided by the trading guilds and Half-Elf associations.”

”There are always merchant caravans in need of this currency; they venture North and South and can even trade with Tomb Kings. Those ancient kings possess the most valuable Gold Coins stored in their tombs. Zhendan’s currency has the lowest value; those arrogant Dragon Children never exchange their currency for our Gold Coins. They offer Copper Coins to take away our gold, spices, weapons, warships, and a series of other wealth. But there’s no choice; their silk and porcelain are renowned throughout the Old World. Even if it’s Copper Coins, everyone rushes for them.”

Su Li then waved his hand and said, ”Then take these Arabi Gold Coins to Hesse City and Flash Spear City and exchange them for Golden Crowns. I remember that the Gray Market Trading Company has established a banking building in Flash Spear City for currency exchange. Their trading company and the Ramsey family definitely need this currency.”

Hesse Territory’s focus has not yet extended beyond the Empire, nor even beyond the Border Prince’s Territory; he doesn’t pay much attention.

Currently, the Territory still needs more of the Empire’s Golden Crowns to improve the economy and invest.

The proceeds from this Pirate Ship are indeed considerable, regarded as one of the greatest opportunities ever. The combined wealth of 12 chests exceeds 40,000 Golden Crowns.

Among them, the most critical part is the remaining 2,300 Golden Crowns. After arranging the task for Demster, Su Li then turned to Bierga and said, ”My friend, I’m planning to use these 2,300 Dwarf Oath Golds to purchase some valuable equipment from your Kingdom.”

”Valuable equipment, my giant friend, you’ve come to the right person.” Bierga responded excitedly immediately, ”Our Dwarves have all kinds of treasures, from exquisite jewelry and Dwarf Craft, to powerful weapons and armor, even artillery and steam tanks; whatever you desire, we can provide. Which area are you interested in?”

Su Li has a deep understanding of Dwarf Craft as well, and he calmly replied, ”Ordinary weapons and armor can be manufactured by the Armory we’ve inspected. As for artillery, my Territory has established the Firearms Guild, which can produce slowly; what I am more interested in is some more advanced things.”

Bierga considered for a moment, then solemnly said to Su Li, ”I do not recommend you continue buying Rare Level weapons and armor from us; this ordinary Knight’s equipment is hard to effect qualitative change. Even if you strengthen them further, it requires a quantitative accumulation process; only then can qualitative change occur.”

”So I suggest you purchase a batch of high-grade, immensely powerful Dwarf War Machines, which can greatly enhance your army’s overall power. For instance, the Organ Cannon, with at least 9 gun barrels, can destroy a troop in one fell swoop.”

”But I mostly suggest you purchase our Dwarf Helicopters.”

”Dwarf Helicopters?” Su Li’s eyes lit up, ”I’ve heard much about this advanced unit; can your Kingdom provide this kind of troop?”

”Of course!” Bierga lifted his chin, shaking his reddish-brown beard enthusiastically, ”Dwarf Helicopters are one of the most revolutionary inventions of our Dwarven race and indeed the whole Old World.”

”Since the decline of the Battle of the Longbeards, threats from Green Skins and Rat People have been filling the mountain paths and underground tunnels between various Dwarf City Strongholds, forcing Dwarves to seek more efficient ways beyond a forceful breakthrough. Ultimately, when Dwarf Engineers saw the Giant Dragons flying and hunting between the mountains, they got inspired; since the land routes are hard to clear, why not try flying in the sky?”
