Pioneer Lord: Starting From Daily Intelligence

Chapter 932: Chapter 121: Death Choir and the Decisive Victory of the Undead Legion (Part 3)

They donned the ancient, roughly alloyed battle armor, now rusted and dull with the passage of time. These fearsome and silent guards remain vigilant, never resting, behind the broken city walls and iron gates, awaiting the moment to protect their dark master in the eternal river of time. When a Vampire or Necromancer leads their army, the Desolate Tomb Guards stand at the forefront of the Undead Army. They form a powerful warrior class, their enchanted weapons relentlessly and tirelessly slashing at enemies, leaving even the strongest foes doomed to die.

A Desolate Tomb Guard with hundreds or even thousands of years of battle experience poses a huge threat even to Elite Knights. If not for the Divine Spirit’s ability to directly infuse knights with combat techniques through Divine Magic, fighting against such Monsters would be an enormous challenge for humans.

Meanwhile, the Fear Beast is an enormous creature, another name perhaps better embodies its oppressive presence—Dragon-Fearing Bat!

This is a giant, bloodthirsty bat-like beast, typically used as either the Soul Withering Tomb Master’s war beast or the Ghoul King’s advanced mount in the Royal Court of flesh-eaters. Their wings are exceedingly coarse, with bones completely exposed. Their demon-like heads feature protruding teeth and a slender tongue. They are descendants of ancient bats, once surviving by predating on massive animals and draining their blood. But with the spread of civilization, these massive creatures either were hunted to extinction or starved due to scarce food, forcing Dragon-Fearing Bats to find refuge in tombs and caves, becoming increasingly hungry and greedy. The early Necromancers resurrected their bodies, using them as war beasts, and the horrifying death magic made these creatures even hungrier.

Their souls closely linked with their master’s will, unconsciously absorbing the powers of death magic, giving these creatures a new life. They tear their enemies apart with their skeletal claws and fanged mouths, but most famous is their death shriek, capable of causing prey to faint directly, allowing them to feed. The intensity of this sound wave is terrifying, enough to cause the heart to explode, those who hear their hearts stop, blood ceases flowing. When a Fear Beast is slain, it explodes into a swarm of bats feeding on nearby living creatures, and their eggs can be nurtured into new Fear Beasts by the Ghoul King’s blood and magic.

Undoubtedly, these massive Monsters are the vital reason for the Envoy’s presence here, summoned through dark magic using special means!

This Fear Beast clawed its massive talons out from the Hell Pit, then roared and bowed its head to the feet of the Envoy.

If this Envoy were to mount the Fear Beast, the combat power of the undead would likely be further enhanced! It would be able to wield black magic recklessly in the sky, striking human knights and empowering undead Monsters.

Thus Su Li exclaimed, ”It really found a great place. From this pit, a number of advanced undead can be summoned.”

”Cackling! Go die!” the Envoy ordered, and the Monsters beside it surged towards the human knights like a tide.

Under this dark tide, the knights shining with golden light were like flickering candle flames in the night, ready to be extinguished at any moment.

The knights immediately roared and charged at the Monsters!

This time, Su Li also witnessed the combat prowess of the Undead Elites, as the mighty Desolate Tomb Guards and the shining knights roared and fought fiercely, their combat power evenly matched.

Even more terrifying was the Envoy. It extended a menacing skeletal claw, dark purple wind gathering in its palm, then suddenly squeezed, transforming the smoke-like purple wind into a purple aureole.

”Undead Magic · Death Knight Incarnation!”

An invisible evil aureole enveloped the Necromancer’s allies, granting them combat power nearly akin to Death Knights, only the bravest enemies could face them.

This is a core skill almost all Necromancers must learn!

Even the weakest Death Mage apprentice, after learning the Summoning Technique and Resurrection Technique, must immediately focus on mastering this spell.

Because once having this spell, for a brief time, the Necromancer’s summoned skeleton soldiers and zombies, these cannon fodder troops, can nearly possess the combat power of Death Knights.

Imagine a few mercenaries, who finally found the hidden Necromancer apprentice, sneeringly intending to extract the small figure from amidst the skeletons and walking dead.

But the previously easily shattered weak skeletons suddenly gather the Wind of Death, their combat power skyrockets, possessing the combat power of Death Knights.

Even if this lasts only 15 seconds or less, dozens of Death Knights can instantly shred the mercenaries encircled by them!

Therefore, the Envoy cackled with laughter: ”Die, die, all of you die! Let your wails orchestrate tonight’s most magnificent... ah!!”

A piercing scream interrupted its joyous laughter, the previously ecstatic and proud Envoy looked down at the golden longsword protruding from its chest, voice filled with disbelief and furious malice!
