Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

These words were greeted with jeers and applause from the Slytherin end of the pitch, and there was a lot of discussion around Evan.

It could be seen that everyone was full of doubts about Harry and Ron.

It was not until a huge roar that shook the entire audience that everyone’s eyes and attention were drawn to the place.

It was Luna Lovegood’s famous lion-topped hat. and the girl appeared in the Gryffindor stand.

Even though they had seen it many times before, Luna’s outfit was still strikingly eye-catching.

Many students were avoiding her, but Hermione quickly pulled her to her side, “How did you do that?”

“Sonorus Charm!” Luna replied, grinning unabashedly. “How have you all been? I heard about Ron — Ginny told me in class the other day. She’s really nice. That day in Transfiguration, she stopped two boys from calling me ‘Loony.’ You know, I think Ron can be quite funny sometimes, don’t you? But he can also be a little mean — I noticed that last year. Oh, and he’s got quite the temper. He always seems to get angry for no reason.”

It must be said that Luna did have a special talent for speaking out unpleasant truths.

“Yeah, there are indeed a lot of worries. How have you been lately?” Evan asked.

“I’m fine, just a little lonely,” said Luna. “When’s the next D.A. meeting? I’ve mastered the spells you taught me. I heard Neville can even cast nonverbal spells now…”

Since the start of term, Evan had only managed to organize three meetings due to various distractions.

Instead, he had chosen spells for members to practice on their own.

“There should be one before Christmas,” said Evan, looking up just in time to see Elaine strike a Bludger with great force, sending it hurtling toward the commentator, Zacharias Smith.

It was no accident — Zacharias had just criticized Elaine, saying she was too skinny to be a proper Beater.

Bang! Zacharias was struck by the rogue Bludger, wobbled, and collapsed.

Now, the stadium became much quieter, with only the cheers of the audience remaining.

“Oops, slipped!” Elaine explained, earning a warning from Madam Hooch.

By the time Zacharias scrambled back up from under the table, he had learned his lesson — he no longer dared to badmouth Elaine.

He skirted around her and returned his attention to Ron and the other players, but he was much more restrained this time.

In fact, he had nothing much to say.

The game was almost one-sided, and Gryffindor seemed to be able to play smoothly no matter what.

Everyone was performing brilliantly, including Ron. Yes, even Ron, who had been in poor form recently.

Maybe it was the psychological boost from the supposed Felix Felicis, but Gryffindor was scoring goal after goal up front, while Ron, at the other end of the pitch, was blocking every shot effortlessly. It was so easy for him to save some balls with particularly tricky angles that he even saved them with the tip of his gloves.

In the audience, someone started singing the most popular old song of all time, “Weasley is Our King”, and Ron, who was in high spirits, pretended to conduct them from on high. Fresh chapters posted on novel_fіre.net

The most outstanding performances of the whole match belonged to Ginny and Elaine. These two thin and weak girls showed amazing strength. Relying on the speed advantage of the brooms, they controlled the Bludgers almost throughout the game. They caused great trouble to Slytherin, knocking down their opponents time and time again, hindering their attack and defense.

No other team at Hogwarts, besides Gryffindor, had ever dared to use a female Beater, let alone two of them.

But Gryffindor did it, and this lineup, which had been met with skepticism before the match, exploded with an overwhelming offensive force.

Even the famed Fred and George Weasley, once considered the best Beater duo in recent years, couldn’t match the sheer dominance of Ginny and Elaine.

They dictated the rhythm of the game, controlling the entire pitch with their impeccable coordination.

Slytherin had always relied on brute strength, using aggressive tackles and physical contact to wear down their opponents — a tactic they had perfected over the years. But this time, their strategy was rendered useless.

Or rather, impossible to execute.

They couldn’t catch up with Ginny and Elaine at all, and the Slytherins spent the entire match trailing hopelessly behind them, utterly outmatched in speed, agility, and skill.

Ginny and Elaine could have easily played as Seekers, yet they dominated as Beaters instead. Worse still, their strikes were both powerful and precise — it was outright bullying.

In addition, Elaine’s identity also served as a sufficient deterrent. After her identity was made public, the Slytherin students all had a special awe of her, and almost no student dared to approach her, or was unwilling to do so, which allowed her to play without restrictions on the pitch.

In short, thanks to the activeness of Ginny, Elaine and Ron, there was no suspense in this match.

Harry finally caught the Golden Snitch and announced the end of the game, and Gryffindor defeated Slytherin.

The whistle blew and the Gryffindor students all stood up, and a deafening roar filled the stadium.

The team members hugged each other warmly in the air, except for Ginny.

Under everyone’s gaze, she flew straight past the team members at an astonishing speed.

Then, with an almighty crash, she collided with the commentator’s podium.

As the crowd shrieked and laughed, the Gryffindor team landed beside the wreckage of wood under which Zacharias was feebly stirring.

“Forgot to brake, Professor, sorry,” Ginny said blithely to an irate Professor McGonagall.

Well, at least Zacharias should have learned his lesson.

If this match proved anything, it was never to mess with Ginny or Elaine.

They were far too violent.

Evan wasn’t sure whether they had inherited this ferocity or if it was simply in their nature.

Elaine had a history — she had tried to bite Evan the first time they met, but Ginny had once been such a sweet child…

At the commentator’s podium, the Gryffindor players were cheering enthusiastically, showing no intention of leaving.

Harry rushed over and hugged Ginny, but let go very quickly.

Avoiding her gaze, he clapped a cheering Ron on the back instead.

Finally, amid deafening applause, the Gryffindor team left the pitch arm in arm, punching the air and waving to their supporters.

Just as Evan expected, everyone forgave Ron’s previous performance because of this victory.

Or to be more precise, they chose to forget — tensions were temporarily buried under the excitement. He saw Lavender and a group of girls rushing toward the changing room, while Luna was invited to join the celebration later in the Gryffindor common room. After that, Evan and Hermione followed along toward the changing room as well.

The atmosphere in the changing room was jubilant, and this atmosphere continued into the party later in the evening.

Every Gryffindor student was excited, and Evan had never seen Elaine talk so much.

But there was one issue — why did he have to be the one preparing Elaine’s party food?

And seriously — could she not drink so wildly and wastefully?

This was blood, not butterbeer.

Spilling butterbeer on yourself wasn’t a big deal. In fact, it even added a strange sense of allure and ambiguity.

But pouring blood all over herself?

And not just any blood — dragon blood, one of the most expensive things imaginable!
