Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

This time when he returned to Hogwarts a thousand years ago, many things happened that were beyond Evan’s plan and imagination.

He witnessed with his own eyes the power of the Four Founders, learned the secrets behind the changes in the world, clarified his next direction, and the biggest gain of this trip was getting Lady Ravenclaw’s treasure key.

The complete Ravenclaw Diadem symbolized the coldest, most ruthless absolute wisdom in the world.

After obtaining the Philosopher’s Stone left by Gryffindor, Evan had speculated for a long time about the treasure keys of the remaining three Founders.

He originally thought that the other keys would also be Philosopher’s Stones, because as the key to the treasure, the Philosopher’s Stone was already very luxurious and absolutely top-notch. He’d never expected Ravenclaw would leave him such an item — a diadem that could enhance one’s wisdom, along with Ravenclaw’s will and her bloodline’s magical talent.

It was truly a great gift. This extraordinary combination had made the Diadem transcend the ordinary legendary magic items.

As a mere key to the secret treasure, this Diadem was far too precious, surpassing the significance of being just a “key.” Therefore, Evan realized that what he received from Lady Ravenclaw was not merely a simple key, nor merely a diadem that granted the wearer absolute wisdom, but rather the inheritance of her will. It was now his duty to protect Hogwarts in Ravenclaw’s stead, using this cursed power to guard all the beautiful things worth protecting.

Even if she was misunderstood, even if she had to bear all the pain, she would not regret it. This was Rowena Ravenclaw.

Someone who had every reason to resent the world, to scorn and harm others, yet chose not to. Instead, she found her own way to protect. …

Evan wasn’t deliberately praising Ravenclaw or exaggerating her greatness, but after experiencing that emotionless state firsthand, he truly felt her greatness. She had a lonely soul that firmly believed in the existence of goodness.

He was still thinking about it when he returned to Dumbledore’s office and then to his own bedroom.

Evan had always thought he understood the Four Founders of Hogwarts and Dumbledore, knowing many of their secrets and past stories. But after closer encounters, he realized just how many hidden truths lay beneath the surface.

Perhaps this was why Dumbledore insisted they study Voldemort’s growth.

It was not just about finding the Horcruxes. To truly defeat your enemy, you must first understand them.

It might be that Dumbledore understood Voldemort better than Voldemort understood himself, knowing exactly where his weaknesses lay.

Therefore, no matter how powerful Voldemort was, he had no chance in front of Dumbledore!

………………………………………………………………………………….

Evan told Professor Dumbledore in detail about his experience of traveling through time, including the Diadem he had obtained, as well as information about the plans of the Four Founders and the coming of the evil god, and he also briefly told Hermione about it.

As Evan had expected, Dumbledore did not seem particularly surprised.

He still looked confident, as though everything was unfolding exactly as planned. This demeanor was both reassuring and unsettling.

It was reassuring because, with the seemingly omnipotent Dumbledore in charge, Evan wasn’t fighting alone.

He felt that no matter how formidable the challenge — whether it was Voldemort or the evil god, or a combination of the two — nothing could truly defeat the headmaster. Dumbledore exuded an inexplicable sense of security.

On the other hand, it was unsettling because Dumbledore, as always, shared nothing with him. …

As a leader with absolute control, Dumbledore had his own ideas and plans.

Others were expected to execute those plans as directed. Even Evan, who now held a status and level of trust in Dumbledore’s eyes comparable to Harry, couldn’t change this dynamic.

Dumbledore would definitely not say anything until the last moment.

Evan was used to it, but this time Dumbledore didn’t leave him entirely in the dark.

He told Evan that the messages left by Salazar Slytherin were about to be deciphered. These messages contained a lot of information, including the magic that could turn a person into an evil god, the location of the last part of the evil god’s body that Slytherin had taken away, and details about Slytherin’s treasure key. …

These things were very important. If Dumbledore could help solve the most troublesome Slytherin test, then what Evan needed to find now was Hufflepuff’s treasure key.

He didn’t have many clues in this regard. He only knew that Hufflepuff was not only the greatest educator, but also a Seer of ancient lineage with prophetic abilities. By the way, there was also a weird demon altar under Hogwarts kitchens, which was somehow related to Hufflepuff.

Evan felt it was necessary to prioritize the study of demonology and related ancient magic runes, and planned to find time to explore the area beneath the kitchens.

If Dumbledore’s reaction was expected, Hermione’s response to Evan’s revelations was somewhat surprising.

She quickly accepted everything Evan told her, showing no sign of shock.

In her words, “After spending so much time around you, I’ve witnessed too many miracles and unimaginable events. I’m numb to it now.”

It seemed Hermione had her own perspective on such matters.

Without Evan’s knowledge, she seemed to have thought a lot and had already formed some plans of her own.

Although these ideas were not as complicated as Dumbledore’s, they were equally resolute and unwavering. After their conversation, Hermione told Evan that no matter what terrifying enemies awaited them, they would face them together. She would stand by his side without retreating a single step.

Moreover, she emphasized that she was his partner in battle, not someone who needed to be protected.

This was something she specifically reminded Evan of — no more going off on dangerous missions alone and leaving her behind.

As for the terrible evil god and the destruction of the world that were about to come, she didn’t take it to heart at all, because these things could not be solved by her worrying.

Sensible thought, but that was not Hermione at all!

Evan even wondered if she was possessed by Elaine, or if the trait of “being thick-skinned” could be contagious?

But Hermione quickly proved she was still the Hermione he knew. In certain aspects, she hadn’t changed a bit.

For example, in terms of studying, this remained a constant source of pressure.

The first pressure came from the school curriculum itself. Sixth-year courses were challenging.

Even for Evan, these courses weren’t exactly easy. After the term began, he realized that he was, to some extent, heavily unbalanced in his studies. Most of his energy had been devoted to researching complex and profound magic, while some advanced magical knowledge had only been briefly touched upon, leaving him with a superficial and incomplete understanding.
