Build a Fifty-meter Giant Mecha at the Beginning!

194: Mission completed, mission reward is space elevator technology!Half a month passed.

Under the continuous and stable operation of the weather modification device, the Moon’s atmosphere was completely formed.

The Moon, which had been barren for countless ages, had undergone earth-shattering changes.

Inside Shancheng Military Base.

The Top Leader looked at the latest full-scale map of the Moon sent by his secretary, his face filled with joy.

”With the experience of terraforming the Moon this time, we will be even faster when we terraform Mars later,” The Top Leader said.

”Yes, but it might not be suitable for the Chief to terraform Mars right now!”

”Terraforming one Moon has pushed our transport capacity to its limit. Before Xiao Zhang develops a new method for rapid transportation, let’s wait a bit longer,” Old Wang said.

”Mhm, mhm.”

”The main problem is that too many things cannot be launched into Space via Electromagnetic Railgun, otherwise we would have an easier time,” The Top Leader said. Many parts now exceeded the maximum volume that an Electromagnetic Railgun could launch.

Faced with this situation, Space Freighters could only transport these items up little by little.

At the same time, Zhang Yuanhang had already led Academician Wu and others to construct the Plasma Shield.

”Academician Wu, please take your team to the testing ground for an experiment.”

”If there are no problems, dismantle it into parts and send them to Space,” Zhang Yuanhang said. He had just seen Leader Jia waiting outside for him, and he knew there must be something important.

”Okay, Xiao Zhang, leave everything to me!” Academician Wu patted his chest and then led the group away.

Zhang Yuanhang also walked over to Leader Jia.

”Xiao Zhang, you’re done! Come with me quickly, The Top Leader and Old Wang have been waiting for you for a long time.”

”They seem to have something important to tell you!” Leader Jia pulled Zhang Yuanhang and ran towards the office of The Top Leader and the others.

Zhang Yuanhang was also very curious why The Top Leader had personally come.

Soon, the two arrived at The Top Leader’s office.

”Knock, knock!”

Leader Jia knocked on the door.

”Come in,” The Top Leader said.

Leader Jia hurriedly led Zhang Yuanhang inside.

The Top Leader and Old Wang in the office immediately stood up when they saw Zhang Yuanhang behind Leader Jia.

”Xiao Zhang, are you done with your work!”

”Secretary, quickly go and get that ore,” The Top Leader immediately instructed his secretary to get the ore.

”Ore?” Zhang Yuanhang looked at The Top Leader with a puzzled expression.

He thought to himself: Ore, what kind of ore?

”Xiao Zhang, it’s like this: we discovered an unprecedented ore on the Moon.”

”One gram of this ore can stably store the electricity generated by a Three Gorges Dam for one month,” Old Wang told Zhang Yuanhang.

”What! That’s incredible!” Zhang Yuanhang was startled.

Soon, the secretary who had left not long ago returned, carefully opening a briefcase in his hand.

Then, he handed the ore from the box to Zhang Yuanhang.

Zhang Yuanhang picked it up and observed it carefully.

”Xiao Zhang, just a few days ago, experts already mastered the method to release the stored energy.”

”According to the experts, this ore releases all its stored energy in one go every time it discharges energy.”

”The destructive power is quite terrifying!” The Top Leader said.

During the first experiment, everyone deliberately took protective measures, but many were still injured by the terrifying energy released by the ore.

”This thing, I don’t know what to use it for yet!”

”But I think this ore can be used to make weapons.”

”I just had an idea,” Zhang Yuanhang said slowly, looking at the ore.

An idea surfaced in Zhang Yuanhang’s mind: High-Energy Particle Rifle.

After obtaining the Ion Engine technology, Zhang Yuanhang had thought about designing a High-Energy Particle Rifle for the Army.

However, energy storage was a problem. The energy consumption of a High-Energy Particle Rifle was quite terrifying. With ordinary energy storage methods, it would run out of energy after two or three shots. He couldn’t put a nuclear power plant on a rifle, could he?

So, this idea had been hidden in Zhang Yuanhang’s mind.

Now, the discovery of this ore made Zhang Yuanhang want to create the High-Energy Particle Rifle again.

Hearing Zhang Yuanhang say he had an idea, The Top Leader and Old Wang were overjoyed.

”Chief, Old Wang, let me take it to research first!” Zhang Yuanhang said.

”Alright, but Xiao Zhang, you must be careful!”

”For related experiments, you must let Sentinel Mecha do it. If Sentinel Mecha can’t do it, then let others do it,” The Top Leader said. He was worried that Zhang Yuanhang might be injured by this ore.

”Mhm, mhm, Chief, don’t worry,” Zhang Yuanhang nodded.

Old Wang, meanwhile, leaned over to Leader Jia, ”Xiao Jia, you must protect Xiao Zhang well!”

Leader Jia nodded.

”Old Wang, don’t worry, I’ll keep an eye on Xiao Zhang every day. Absolutely nothing will happen to Xiao Zhang,” Leader Jia said.

”Mhm, mhm!” Old Wang only felt relieved after giving instructions to Leader Jia.

”Well, Xiao Zhang, we’ll head back to the Capital now. There’s still a mess of things to deal with there,” The Top Leader said.

”Oh, right, Xiao Zhang, about the transport capacity problem, do you have a solution?” Old Wang asked at this point.

”Yes!”

”I’ll start working on it later.” After Old Wang’s reminder, Zhang Yuanhang remembered that he was also planning to build a Space Elevator.

”Good, good, Xiao Zhang, you’ve worked hard,” The Top Leader and Old Wang excitedly clasped Zhang Yuanhang’s hands and said excitedly.

”It’s nothing, it’s nothing,” Zhang Yuanhang said with a smile.

”Xiao Zhang, then we won’t disturb you anymore,” The Top Leader saw his secretary remind him that it was getting late, and looked at Zhang Yuanhang reluctantly.

”Mhm, mhm, Chief, Old Wang, you two must also take care of your health!”

”Don’t get too tired!” Zhang Yuanhang said.

”Mhm, mhm, goodbye, Xiao Zhang,” The Top Leader and Old Wang smiled and said, then left.

Just then, the system’s voice rang in Zhang Yuanhang’s head again.

”Ding! Plasma Shield mission complete.”

”Do you want to claim mission rewards???” Zhang Yuanhang glanced at Leader Jia beside him, ”Leader Jia, I’m going to the restroom first, I’ll be a step ahead.”

After saying that, Zhang Yuanhang ran directly to the restroom, entered, closed the door, and then said, ”Claim reward, claim reward!”

”Ding! Congratulations to the host for obtaining Space Elevator technology!”

”Hiss!”

”Holy cow, my luck is insane!” It’s like finding a pillow when you want to sleep.

Zhang Yuanhang’s face was instantly filled with joy.

Zhang Yuanhang began to receive the Space Elevator technology transmitted by the system.

At this time, Academician Wu and the others at the testing ground were also extremely excited. They had worked so hard for so long, and the Plasma Shield device they built was successful.

Later, Space Freighters could transport it to Space and install it on the second Azure Dragon Space Battleship.
