Build a Fifty-meter Giant Mecha at the Beginning!

164: Electromagnetic railgun test launch successful, Kunpeng space cargo ship arrives on Mars”Clap! Clap! Clap!”

”Everyone, let’s begin the first experiment of the Electromagnetic Railgun!”

”Notify the Space Combat Platform to dispatch Aerospace Fighters to the designated target location for observation.”

Zhang Yuanhang planned to aim directly at Space from the start, sending up an experimental shell specifically built for the Electromagnetic Railgun, then gradually adjusting the Electromagnetic Railgun’s power step by step until it reached the required power for launching materials into Space.

”Understood, Academician Zhang Yuanhang.”

Someone immediately went to contact the Space Combat Platform.

Space Combat Platform.

”Quick, quick, we just received a mission. Hong Bo, you go personally.”

The commander of the Space Combat Platform handed a document to Hong Bo.

Hong Bo looked down, and his pupils contracted.

Holy cow, he was going to participate in the Electromagnetic Railgun’s experimental project.

So, without a word, Hong Bo took the document, put on his Space Fighter Dedicated Flight Suit, and piloted the Suzaku Aerospace Fighter to the designated location.

”Shancheng, Shancheng, this is Hong Bo. I have reached the designated position.”

As soon as he arrived at the position, Hong Bo began to contact the Electromagnetic Railgun launch site.

”Understood, Shancheng received.”

The communication officer replied.

He then jogged over to Academician Wu and Zhang Yuanhang, ”Academician Zhang Yuanhang, Commander, the Aerospace Fighter has reached the designated position. The experiment can begin.”

Zhang Yuanhang looked at Academician Wu, who was checking the Electromagnetic Railgun’s data, ”Academician Wu, has the Electromagnetic Railgun’s angle been adjusted?”

”Yes, Xiao Zhang, it’s ready to fire at any time!”

Academician Wu nodded.

”Good.” Zhang Yuanhang turned to look at Elder Wang, ”Elder Wang, you press the launch button!”

”Alright, alright, then I’ll press it.”

Elder Wang pressed the switch with a smile on his face.

Then the Electromagnetic Railgun began to glow blue, and a second later, a whoosh sound came, ’whoosh’!

The experimental shell in the Electromagnetic Railgun’s barrel had already flown into Space.

”Hong Bo, please note, the shell has been launched.”

As the communication officer spoke, the experimental shell had already flashed past Hong Bo’s Suzaku Aerospace Fighter like lightning.

If it weren’t for the Suzaku Aerospace Fighter’s radar lock, Hong Bo would have thought Shancheng hadn’t launched yet.

Hong Bo took a look and found that when the experimental shell flew past his fighter, its speed had already reached Mach thirty.

”Shancheng, the experimental shell just flew past me and did not stop at the designated location. Its speed exceeded Mach thirty when it flew past!”

Hong Bo reported the situation back.

When Shancheng received this news, Academician Wu was a little dumbfounded. He had already adjusted the Electromagnetic Railgun’s power to one-seventh, so how could the shell still maintain such a fast speed after flying out of Blue Star?

”Academician Wu, please reduce the power further.”

Zhang Yuanhang said.

”Xiao Zhang, the power of the Electromagnetic Railgun is so great, can it really send materials to a designated location in Space?”

Elder Wang felt that Zhang Yuanhang’s idea might be a bit difficult to achieve. Even after specifically reducing the power, the destructive force was still so outrageous.

”Of course it can. Once we conduct a few more experiments and gather enough data, then it will be possible.”

Zhang Yuanhang said with a smile, ”Getting a martial arts secret manual doesn’t mean you immediately become a martial arts master; you still have to cultivate diligently!”

”Oh, oh!”

Elder Wang nodded awkwardly. He was already so old, yet he was not as steady as this young man, Xiao Zhang.

”Whoosh!”

”Whoosh!”

”Whoosh!”

... The experiment lasted a whole day, until enough data was collected.

Finally, the experimental shell could be launched to the designated position and stop steadily.

After a day of experimentation, the clouds above the entire Shancheng were affected and all dispersed.

The entire Shancheng was cloudless.

”Holy cow, why is the sky so blue today?”

”Indeed, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen such a blue sky. I only saw it when I was little, in my hometown.”

”It’s a bit strange!”

... When the people of Shancheng went home after work, they walked out of their company doors and noticed the anomaly in the sky.

Spies from various countries lurking in China had long since noticed all this. Their intuition told them that all of this was mostly caused by Zhang Yuanhang.

At this moment.

Elder Wang’s happy smile was unstoppable.

”It’s finally done. The subsequent development of the Moon and Mars will be much faster.”

Zhang Yuanhang said with a smile.

The barrel of the Electromagnetic Railgun was not traditionally enclosed, but rather consisted of two long guide rails.

Its caliber could reach a full three meters.

It could launch many things up.

Of course, personnel going to the Moon and Mars, as well as some precision items, could still only be transported into Space by Space Freighter.

But the emergence of the Electromagnetic Railgun could greatly alleviate the strained capacity of Space Freighters.

While Zhang Yuanhang and others were busy with the finishing touches, the Kunpeng Space Freighter had already arrived at Mars.

It docked at the Space Combat Platform in Mars orbit.

”Oh my goodness, the guy who came this time is actually so big!”

”Unbelievable, how long have I been working on Mars, and the Motherland has already built such a large Space Freighter.”

”No wonder the Motherland is going to start developing Mars. With this big guy, it can completely maintain the transportation line between Mars and Blue Star.”

... Everyone on the Space Combat Platform in Mars orbit put down their work and looked outside in disbelief.

It wasn’t until the people eager to disembark from the Kunpeng Space Freighter called for more than ten minutes that Everyone remembered there were still over two hundred people up there.

”Quick, get moving.”

”Comrades inside, after such a long flight, your bodies may be somewhat uncomfortable, so Everyone be careful later.”

The commander of the Space Combat Platform cautioned Everyone.

It took over half an hour to finally transfer the people from the Kunpeng Space Freighter.

”Wuwu, the feeling of gravity is really good!”

”The feeling of having my feet on solid ground made me think I was back on Blue Star.”

”Wow, that’s Mars outside, it’s so beautiful!”

... Everyone who stepped onto the Space Combat Platform re-adapted to gravity while busy looking at the appearance of Mars outside.

If it weren’t for the Government’s requirement on Mars not to adapt to the internet, they would definitely post on their Moments to show off.

At the same time.

Countries on Blue Star all discovered that China’s Kunpeng Space Freighter had arrived at Mars.

After all, the Kunpeng Space Freighter, that big guy, had nowhere to hide in front of those Space telescopes.

Leaders of various countries looked at all this numbly.

During this time, they had protested to China countless times, prohibiting the development of the Moon.

But China was too lazy to respond to their protests.

Even if they protested China’s development of Mars now, China would certainly ignore them.
