Build a Fifty-meter Giant Mecha at the Beginning!

179: The weather modification device is completed, and the foot basin chicken is trembling, worried about being retaliated“Xiao Zhang, can this thing change the environment?”

Academician Wu, Academician Sun, and Academician Zhao looked at the truck-sized weather modification device before them.

Their eyes were filled with curiosity.

“Of course it can.”

Zhang Yuanhang patted the fellow in front of him.

“Let the Space Freighter transport it above our Shancheng.”

“Shancheng has been quite hot lately. This time, let the weather modification device lower Shancheng’s temperature.”

Zhang Yuanhang said.

“Really?”

“That’s great! Shancheng is good in every way, except for the weather being too hot.”

“That’s right! Shancheng is what they call ‘cold in winter, hot in summer’!”

...The researchers present spoke up one after another, their faces full of smiles.

Although they worked in the Shancheng Military Base with air conditioning constantly on, when they went out to play on their days off, Shancheng’s hot weather was unbearable for them.

“Alright.”

A moment later.

The Space Freighter transported the weather modification device into Space.

The Top Leader and others heard the commotion and came over. “Xiao Zhang, have you finished building it so quickly?”

The Top Leader and others hadn’t expected Zhang Yuanhang to complete it in just six days.

“No, no, Chief, this is just one component of the weather modification device.”

“A complete weather modification device has a total of one hundred and eight components.”

Zhang Yuanhang quickly waved his hand and said.

“Oh, oh.”

The Top Leader and others suddenly understood. They had wondered how something capable of changing the weather within a two-thousand-kilometer radius could be built so quickly!

“Academician Zhang Yuanhang, the weather modification device has been transported to the designated location.”

At this moment, a researcher shouted loudly.

Everyone turned their heads to look upon hearing this.

“Very good, activate the weather modification device.”

Zhang Yuanhang walked over and gestured for the researcher to operate it.

As the button was pressed, the weather modification device, directly above Shancheng, officially activated.

Seeing that the weather modification device had no issues, Everyone present breathed a sigh of relief.

“Leader Jia, please inform the Shancheng Leader.”

“Tell him we are about to begin the experiment and ask the people of Shancheng to try not to go out.”

Zhang Yuanhang turned to Leader Jia and said.

“Understood.”

Leader Jia nodded, then immediately called the Shancheng Leader.

Upon learning that Zhang Yuanhang was about to conduct some experiments, the Shancheng Leader, without a second thought, immediately sent people to notify the Shancheng populace to cooperate.

“Hurry, hurry! Great God Zhang Yuanhang is about to conduct some experiment, let’s go home quickly.”

“Tell your son to run faster! If you delay Great God Zhang Yuanhang’s experiment, you won’t be sleeping in my bed ever again!”

“Hahaha, the path to becoming an internet celebrity is here! I’m going to livestream this!”

...The people of Shancheng received the news and actively cooperated, running home one after another.

Those far from home went directly to the nearest shopping mall.

Everyone gathered at the windows, wanting to see what kind of commotion Zhang Yuanhang would cause.

“Xiao Zhang, the Shancheng Leader just called. The people of Shancheng are all hidden away, the experiment can begin.”

Leader Jia took a call, then said with a happy expression.

Everyone looked at Zhang Yuanhang, now just waiting for his command.

“Alright, let’s begin.”

“Let’s start with heavy rain, to cool down our Shancheng.”

Zhang Yuanhang said with a smile.

The leaders behind The Top Leader looked at the clear sky, their brows furrowing for a moment. Could it really rain in such weather?

Academician Zhang Yuanhang wouldn’t be embarrassed, would he?

The Top Leader and Old Wang, however, firmly believed Zhang Yuanhang could do it. They silently counted the time in their hearts, seeing how long it would take for rain to fall.

As time passed, in less than a minute, the previously clear sky suddenly became overcast with dark clouds.

The leaders who had just thought Zhang Yuanhang would be embarrassed had their eyes nearly pop out.

He actually did it!

“It’s coming, the heavy rain is coming.”

As Everyone’s exclamations fell silent.

The heavy rain poured down.

“Clap, clap, clap!!!”

Everyone applauded, looking at Zhang Yuanhang.

“Xiao Zhang, well done! You’ve created another national treasure for our Huaxia!”

“With this weather modification device, natural disasters like droughts and floods will be far from our Huaxia.”

The Top Leader and others sincerely thanked Zhang Yuanhang.

“Chief, Everyone, this is all my duty.”

“However, the weather modification device hasn’t truly succeeded yet; we still need to continue experimenting.”

Zhang Yuanhang said with a smile.

Everyone nodded, then continued the experiment.

Heavy snow, strong winds, and other types of weather were all experimented with.

Just like the initial heavy rain, all were extremely successful. This was still the result of just one weather modification device. When a complete set was finished, Everyone couldn’t even imagine the scene.

At this moment, the people of Shancheng were dumbfounded. In just a short hour, they had witnessed all sorts of weather.

“Oh my goodness, is this Great God Zhang Yuanhang’s new invention?”

“Everyone, I wasn’t dreaming just now, was I?”

“What did Great God Zhang Yuanhang invent this time? It’s simply too incredible!”

“Good heavens, will our Huaxia be able to control the weather at will in the future?”

...The people of Shancheng were incredibly excited.

If it could really be achieved, wouldn’t their Shancheng be able to escape its current ’cold in winter, hot in summer’ weather and become ’warm in winter, cool in summer’?

At this time, CCTV reported on the events of the day immediately.

“Today, our country’s renowned scientist, Academician Zhang Yuanhang, invented the weather modification device.”

“The first experiment was successfully completed in Shancheng, and the experiment was a complete success.”

“This will signify that in the future, our country will completely eliminate natural disasters such as droughts and floods.”

...Watching CCTV’s news, all of Huaxia, and the entire Blue Star, were stunned.

“Oh my goodness, Great God Zhang Yuanhang actually invented something that can modify weather at will.”

“Weather modification device! In the future, our Huaxia farmers won’t have to worry about reduced yields due to natural disasters.”

“That’s right, that’s right! From now on, Uncle Farmers will have a bountiful harvest every time.”

...The people of Huaxia were genuinely happy.

The other countries, however, were filled with shock. Zhang Yuanhang, you are too unbelievable!

You can even control the weather now.

“Zhang Yuanhang is God, he is definitely God.”

“That’s right, otherwise he couldn’t have invented so much high technology. He is God.”

“God, I want to go to Huaxia to see God.”

...At this moment, many Europeans and Americans believed Zhang Yuanhang was God.

Meanwhile, Japan, right next to Huaxia, was trembling with fear.

Now that Huaxia had mastered the weather modification device, capable of changing weather at will, what if they used it to create several large typhoons or tsunamis near Japan in the future?

Wouldn’t that be the end of them!
