Build a Fifty-meter Giant Mecha at the Beginning!

177: The Blue Star Defense Plan succeeds, and the Weather Modifier appears.Cruise missile launched!

The operator pressed the switch, and three prepared intercontinental missiles were launched into Space.

Watching the intercontinental missiles rise from the ground, the military personnel looked up in the direction of the Space Combat Platform and said, ”Now it’s up to the Electromagnetic Railgun.”

At this moment, the Electromagnetic Railgun on the Space Combat Platform had already detected that Huaxia had launched cruise missiles.

“Cruise missiles have been launched.”

“Quickly calculate the flight trajectory of the intercontinental missiles.”

“Electromagnetic Railgun shells loaded.”

...The military personnel immediately became busy. Academician Wu, who was not far away, understood when he saw this scene.

“Teacher, what are they doing?”

Academician Wu’s student, standing beside him, asked when he saw Academician Wu’s sudden realization.

“The military is testing the probability of the Electromagnetic Railgun hitting a flying intercontinental missile.”

“It seems the military plans to rely on Zhang Yuanhang’s Electromagnetic Railgun to intercept intercontinental missiles from other countries. If it succeeds, other countries’ nuclear bombs won’t be able to land on our heads.”

Academician Wu smiled.

“Hiss!”

Everyone present gasped.

“Calculation complete, target parameters uploaded.”

“Shells can be launched.”

The military personnel shouted.

“Launch!”

The Electromagnetic Railgun instantly fired three shells.

Everyone’s hearts were in their throats.

“It must succeed, it must succeed!”

The military personnel present kept muttering.

The Top Leader and others in the conference room of the Shancheng Military Base also all stood up, staring intently at the projector in front of them.

“Hit!”

“It must hit!”

“Give it your all!”

...Many leaders clenched their hands, speaking non-stop.

Four seconds passed.

The intercontinental missiles and the Electromagnetic Railgun shells met outside the Blue Star’s atmosphere.

“Bang bang bang!!!”

Three flashes of light appeared outside the atmosphere.

Seeing these flashes, everyone jumped up in excitement.

“It succeeded!”

“All three hit, 100% success rate.”

“That’s great.”

...The rising flashes made everyone dance with excitement.

Shancheng Military Base.

“Not bad. It seems the Blue Star Defense Program proposed by the military is quite feasible.”

“We’ll continue testing for a period. As long as the interception rate is above 90%, this program can be implemented.”

The Top Leader said.

Only three experiments had been conducted, which was far from enough; testing had to continue for a period.

“Mhm mhm.”

Everyone nodded.

What The Top Leader and others didn’t know was that other countries on the Blue Star were terrified by this scene.

Eagle Nation.

“Bad news, boss.”

A secretary stumbled into Ike’s office.

“What happened?”

Ike could tell from the secretary’s appearance that the matter must be related to Huaxia.

“Just now, our military satellite captured Huaxia testing a new type of weapon.”

The secretary said.

“So what if they’re testing a new weapon?”

“It would be strange if Huaxia didn’t test something every day.”

Ike said sourly.

“This weapon is different.”

“Huaxia launched three intercontinental missiles this time, and all of them were intercepted.”

The secretary said.

Because Eagle Nation’s military satellites were pointed at the Blue Star, they did not capture the Electromagnetic Railgun.

“All intercepted?”

Ike was greatly shocked.

This time was different from before.

If intercontinental missiles could be intercepted, it meant that more than half of their nuclear bombs could not be delivered.

If Huaxia used nuclear bombs against them, wouldn’t Eagle Nation not even have the ability to retaliate?

“Although I knew this day would come, I didn’t expect it to come so soon.”

Ike sat back in his chair with a bitter smile.

Now, Eagle Nation was about to lose even its last life-saving move.

At this time, the leaders of other countries were in the same situation.

They originally thought that by holding onto nuclear bombs, they could at least make Huaxia hesitant and unwilling to go all out with them.

But now that Huaxia’s ability to intercept intercontinental missiles has seen an epic increase, how could everyone still play?

However, at this time, European and Middle Eastern countries all breathed a sigh of relief; they had already sided with Huaxia.

While Huaxia was busy testing the Electromagnetic Railgun’s ability to intercept intercontinental missiles.

Zhang Yuanhang emerged from his seclusion.

The Top Leader and others also personally came.

“Zhang Yuanhang, you’ve worked hard.”

The Top Leader was incredibly surprised to see Zhang Yuanhang’s energetic state.

It was as if Zhang Yuanhang hadn’t been in seclusion for one or two months.

“It’s nothing, it’s nothing.” Zhang Yuanhang waved his hand, “But, Chief, you all…”

Zhang Yuanhang felt that The Top Leader and others were in a strange state.

They seemed to be on a high, very excited!

“Zhang Yuanhang, we are all happy.”

“Now that you’ve also emerged from seclusion, and with the Electromagnetic Railgun you built earlier, the military has also come up with a very powerful plan based on it.”

The Top Leader said with a smile.

“Oh, what plan?”

Zhang Yuanhang asked curiously, wondering what plan could make The Top Leader and others so happy.

“The military plans to use the Electromagnetic Railgun and the Space Combat Platform to form a Blue Star Defense Program…”

The Top Leader explained to Zhang Yuanhang.

Zhang Yuanhang nodded, highly agreeing with the plan.

“Zhang Yuanhang, what have you invented this time?”

The Top Leader and others all looked at Zhang Yuanhang.

“This time, I invented the Weather Modification Device!”

“With it, we humans will be able to completely terraform the Moon and Mars.”

“In the future, the Moon and Mars will become our Huaxia’s second home.”

Zhang Yuanhang said with a smile.

Hearing Zhang Yuanhang’s words, everyone present was visibly stunned.

Elder Wang was the first to ask, “Zhang Yuanhang, is the Weather Modification Device you mentioned the kind that can control the weather?”

Everyone’s breathing became a little more rapid.

If it really was like that, then Huaxia would truly prosper.

It is known that the direct and indirect losses caused by droughts, floods, and tornadoes in Huaxia each year amount to hundreds of billions.

The number of people who lose their lives due to natural disasters is even countless.

“That’s right.”

“With this Weather Modification Device, we will be able to artificially control the weather.”

Zhang Yuanhang nodded and said.

“Good, good.”

“With this Weather Modification Device, the lives of our Huaxia farmers will undergo a qualitative leap!”

“Farmers will be able to have whatever weather they want, and they will be able to earn more money.”

The Top Leader was overjoyed at this thought.

Farmers, who depended on the weather for their livelihood, would finally be able to live stable lives.

“Gulp!”

The leaders behind him swallowed incredulously.

Such a thing, only seen in sci-fi blockbusters, was actually created by Zhang Yuanhang.
