A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 895: Chapter 887: Fortress Inspection

Not having earned a Second-Level Honor Medal while saving a Demon Hunter Wizard with one, can be considered a fortunate event.

Amidst the admiring and longing gazes of the Demon Hunter Wizards, Green returned to the Space Fortress, placing the dying Second-Level Honor Medal Demon Hunter Grand Wizard into the core medical chamber of the Space Fortress for self-regeneration.

The resources consumed were not few.

Subsequently, Green made his way to the Space Fortress Combat Command, as if in his own home. The Smart Mechanical Puppet guards followed respectfully, becoming Green’s personal escort, and the energy protection mechanisms became Green’s protective devices. With a ”click,” the heavy metal door opened.

Many Dawn Wisdom Wizards looked towards the sudden arrival of the Stigma Sorcerer of the Oblivion Tower, and all respectfully saluted.

”Hmm.”

Caressing a few menacing carnivorous plants beside the metal door, the plants obediently enjoyed Green’s touch, as docile as little dogs.

In front of the Heart of the Fortress, Andre questioned in confusion, ”Master, what are your orders?”

Underneath, an Ice Element formed a chair, and Green took a seat, while Xiao Ba seemed to fly back to the Green Laboratory, playing and making a fuss.

”The plan for this Demon Hunting Expedition needs a change; assist me in arranging it.”

Green spoke in an undeniably commanding tone. In essence, while the Demon Hunting Expedition plan was a Wizarding World plan, conquering each world was a private affair of the Stigmata Sorcerers. The decisions on what to do and how to do it rest entirely on the Stigmata Sorcerer’s desires!

”How does the Master wish to arrange it?”

Andre asked in a low tone. The temporary change of expedition plans by the Stigmata Sorcerer would be a considerable amount of work for the Combat Command.

Suddenly, Green recalled the distant past when he, as an ordinary First-Level Wizard, followed the great Ancient Stigma Wizard of the Heisuo Tower in battling the Nest World.

Also to swiftly conquer the Nest World, beating the Flame Soul World from opening the Nest World Gate, to gain complete control over the Nest World.

This Demon Hunting Expedition held no real purpose for Green, other than to quickly complete the expedition task, accumulate more strength before the Civilization War, and ensure he had more power to alter the war in the ruthless conflict, ultimately, to survive.

In that case, the two Demon Hunting Expedition world tasks could somewhat mirror each other.

Thinking so, Green said in a deep voice, ”Issue a task to all the Demonic Hunter Dark Wizards to find the markings of the Cockroach Matriarch’s Nest. The one with the most markings will receive a Second-Level Honor Medal! The second and third places will receive a Third-Level Honor Medal each!”

It turned out to be an Honor Medal task, which equated to the Stigmata Sorcerer distributing the profits of the Demon Hunting Expedition, a rare and extraordinary task.

Many Dawn Wisdom Wizards realized that this Stigma Sorcerer of the Oblivion Tower was about to make a big move, and quickly focused their attention, combining Green’s war plan with the actual situation of the expedition for analysis and planning.

Andre, after being taken aback, gravely said, ”Understood.”

”Disable the resource management plan, start the Space Fortress operation apparatus, gather all wizard legions outside, and move the fortress toward the Sword of Destruction Space Fortress, assault the Screaming Cockroach Matriarch’s Nest!”

As the Space Fortress moved through the Different World, being repelled by the World’s Power, it would consume vast resources; therefore, the Demon-Hunting Expedition Stigmata Wizards generally avoided moving the fortress.

Seeing Andre note down the plan, Green continued, ”Additionally, recruit a few Concealer confidant Demon Hunter Grand Wizards for me. Use the exploration of the Screaming Cockroach Matriarch’s Nest in this Demon Hunting Expedition as the assessment standard. Interested individuals are to be brought to see me in the Stigmata Hall.”

Saying that, Green beckoned to Xiao Ba, who was playing exuberantly, and left the Combat Command.

For ordinary wizards, there were a few concealed places within the Space Fortress. However, for Stigma Sorcerers, it was the latent strength arranged by the Wizarding World during expeditions to foreign, unfamiliar worlds for contingency.

Proceeding modestly all the way, Green first arrived at the Source of Magic Power of the Low Wizard Tower.

As the crystallization of mechanical wizard intelligence in the Wizarding World, the Space Fortress itself was an extremely large Magic Guide Instrument, bearing the capacity to collect magic similarly to a Sorcerer’s Tower. Once concentrated into the Source of Magic Power, it possessed some unpredictable might.

On the top floor of the Low Wizard Tower, using his Stigmata Sorcerer privileges, Green entered the secretive space.

”Source of Magic Power!”

Green sensed the astonishing magic gathered upfront; just a guide was needed to unleash unimaginable power. Yet compared to the Sorcerer’s Tower Source of Magic Power in the Wizarding World, which could be guided by the Will of the Wizard for transmission across the Endless World, the guiding of the Low Wizard Tower’s Source of Magic Power was confined within this world’s extent, forming part of the Source Will Invasion Technique of the Wizarding World.

Among which, the two most potent functions of the Low Wizard Tower were gathering the Source of Magic Power temporarily to upgrade a wizard to a Pseudo-Stigmata Wizard. Green had once ascended to a Pseudo-Stigmata Wizard in this way, impressively showcasing before the Infernal Soul World Gate by luring the Dark Extinguishing Flame God to the Nest World, thereby acquiring the Flame Soul World coordinates.

The second was to leverage the Lever of Destiny rule, summoning the True Spirit Subordinate Stigma Sorcerers. During the final stages of the Black Tower Stigma Sorcerer’s expedition to the Flame Soul World, the invasion of the Purgatory Giant World was met by summoning six True Spirit Subordinate Stigma Wizards using the Source of Magic Power from the six Space Fortress Low Wizard Towers, though...

Recollecting these events, Green sighed deeply.

Leaving the Low Wizard Tower Source of Magic Power, Green arrived at the Destruction Cannon control room. The vast amount of Energy Baryte stored inside had already been half-consumed, evidently exhausted by a prior shot.

The attack of the Destruction Cannon varies with different Space Fortresses. At this time, Green examined the attribute indicator of his Space Fortress’ Destruction Cannon.

Attack Degrees: 125000 degrees.

Sustain Duration: 14 seconds.

Overall, this exceeded the attack limit of most Fourth-Level Stigmata Wizards. The Destruction Cannon truly deserved to be the ultimate sorcery instrument equipped to the Space Fortress by the mechanical wizards of the Wizarding World.

Subsequently, Green passed through the now-empty Fortress Mechanical Armory, which was once filled with Space Airships, now all dispatched. Following that, Green arrived at a sealed gate of confinement.

Inside, tens of thousands of Mechanical Puppet Legions quietly lay in storage, including Ant Queen-Level Mechanical Puppets, ready to activate and unleash power comparable to that of a Stigma descent should a threat against the Space Fortress arise.

After half an hourglass’s time, Green returned to the Stigmata Hall to quietly wait.

After a while, six Third-Level Great Sorcerers anxiously opened the metal door to the Stigmata Hall, looking up at the high-seated Sorcerer of the Oblivion Tower on the Elemental Throne, surrounded by distorted light and flowing with seven-colored runes, exuding a sense of admiration and reverence spontaneously.

”Hmm. Your task is to locate the exact coordinates of the Screaming Cockroach Matriarch’s Nest for me.”
