A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 859: Chapter 852: Ascending Stigmata (Part 1)

Puff...

Guramo couldn’t help but laugh as he drained his wine.

”A hundred years ago, I traveled across the Wizard Continent, invincible and unmatched, with no Elemental Wizard worthy enough for me to go all out. It was only after returning to the Abyssal Underworld that I was told the real strongest Elemental Wizard could only be found in the deepest recesses of the Holy Towers, and the strongest Elemental Wizard of this era is none other than Severnese of the Second Ring Holy Tower, who rules with an iron fist.”

The only remaining eye glared at Green, filled with gloom and surrounded by hostility.

”You Elemental Wizards are all a bunch of sniveling cowards, hiding away for hundreds or even thousands of years within your Holy Towers out of fear of challenges, leaving only a name outside, you hypocrites!”

Gaga gaga gaga...

Xiao Ba couldn’t help but laugh and say: ”Compared to Elemental Wizards, Abyssal Wizards are indeed more interesting.”

Green merely shook his head and ignored this stranger Body Refining Wizard’s taunts, speaking in a low voice.

”Loneliness is the eternal enemy that accompanies an Elemental Wizard throughout life. On the journey of the Wizard path, one can only move forward by constantly overcoming solitude, exploring the Truth Mystery, and thereby reaching greater heights. Hence, those standing atop the peak have no interest in indulging in frivolous play, as it’s a path fundamentally different from yours. You who single-mindedly struggle between life and death seeking breakthroughs as a Body Refining Wizard will never understand.”

Guramo’s laughter grew more sinister.

”I don’t understand? But the strength I possess will make you comprehend the power of a Body Refining Wizard, forcing you to either submit at my feet or become a corpse. Hahaha, old man, are you afraid now?”

”Afraid?”

Green placed the empty cup down.

”No, no, no, I only hope that after Agrimond, the Abyssal Underworld can gain several more Stigma Sorcerers before the civilization war begins. Judging by the focus on your willpower, it seems you’re nearing your limit, aren’t you? Keep trying, kid, you still have some chance.”

His words were extremely piercing. Facing this arrogant Elemental Grand Sorcerer, far more conceited than himself, Guramo’s narrowed single eye flashed with a cold light and his casual demeanor chilled.

”Old man, what’s your name?”

Standing on Green’s shoulder, Xiao Ba arrogantly pointed a wing at Guramo, sneering: ”Listen up, kid, my master is...”

What Xiao Ba was about to say, ”Shadow of Despair Green from the Seven-Ring Holy Tower”, was abruptly interrupted by Green’s slight movement as he stood up.

With a mental connection to Green, Xiao Ba’s open mouth froze.

Not just Xiao Ba!

As Green stood, suddenly, as if the Balance Rules within the Second Ring Holy Tower stirred a wave, it spread strongly in all directions.

Everyone in the tavern, nearby wizard laboratories, faraway Two Rings True Spirit Subordinate Stigma Sorcerers, and even the deepest sections of the Holy Towers within the Two Rings True Spirit Sorcerers, at this moment sensed this wave, halting their tasks in disbelief and showing shocked expressions.

”Which Great Sorcerer is advancing to become a Fourth-Level Wizard!?”

Inside the Holy Towers, one by one the Great Sorcerers showed astonishment, rising to look toward the direction of the layered Balance Rules wave.

A Fourth-Level Wizard merely means breaking through the three hundred constraints of spiritual power for a Third-Level Great Sorcerer, according to standard Wizard World judgment, lacking the Source of Magic Power, not a Stigma Sorcerer.

”Such a strong balance rules wave, could it be ascending to Stigma Sorcerer with a Special Class Honor Badge!?”

Several Two Rings True Spirit Subordinate Stigma Sorcerers within the Holy Tower puzzled and speculated, their eyes alternately bright and dim.

As Stigma Sorcerers, with sharper perception, they detected this wave of rules as extraordinary, unlike anything seen before, incomparable with those Great Sorcerers who endured heart tribulations and broke spiritual power to the Third-Level extreme.

”You!?”

Just a moment ago Guramo was cold and sinister, but the next instant, his expression drastically changed as he abruptly leaned back.

Guramo attempted to rise but found his legs trembling, feeling as if faced with an awakening primal giant beast ready to devour him.

Glancing up at this terror creature, Guramo wanted to flee but realized he couldn’t do anything, his body seemingly frozen solid, idiotically maintaining a crouched posture.

...

Whew...

A soft sound.

No longer suppressing his cellular vitality, the moment Green released the shackles of his restrained strength, it felt as if he had cast off a heavy burden, and in the next instant, he became incredibly and unbelieveably relaxed.

In Green’s eyes, the world’s progress became extremely slow, so much so that listening to these low-grade wizard’s conversations, he found it somewhat frustrating due to having to patiently wait to comprehend them, as his insight and thought processes sped up immensely.

All around the space, black cracks occasionally appeared, flickering in and out.

This was a phenomenon Green had never seen before; they were the temporal rifts hidden within reality, the fundamental power that the World Masters rely on to communicate across worlds!

In front of him, Guramo’s uneven, hurried breaths, the trembling muscles under his neck, and the goosebumps rising on his skin—these pieces of information instantly converged into Green’s soul, and with an unbelievably rapid stream of thoughts, he thoroughly analyzed the other’s state.

Green looked down at this weak creature, seemingly seeing through it completely.

The unimaginably powerful force of breaking through the limits of an individual creature inverted the world in Green’s eyes.

Guramo?

He could extend a finger to crush it lightly, or separate a wisp of soul fire to attempt soul enslavement over it, or even grasp it, shove it into his mouth to devour, making it a part of his body.

This was merely an insignificant little creature still in natural evolution on this world.

Every cell in Green’s body was vibrating at high frequency, completing the unimaginable metamorphosis of his life’s evolutionary journey. The full mighty power contained within had long been suppressed by the Balance Rules for too long.

Within Green’s soul fire there was an internal collapse and compression happening, this was a transformation towards the Saint Trace Soul!

The Saint Trace Soul continuously drew from the two source forces of Green’s spiritual will and the inherent instinct of his physical cells, completing a higher level transformation into the Saint Trace Soul.

Green’s wizard’s magic power in the vast surging completely achieved an integration process, after the magic power’s property of attraction towards natural elemental force reached its limit, at this moment it finally formed transcendence, achieving complete control of the elemental force!

With the complete control of the elemental force, thus, in front of Green, a formal Elemental Wizard only required him to exert the instinctual control of the Stigma Sorcerer’s elemental power to turn a low-grade Elemental Wizard into a cripple unable to perform Elemental Witchcraft.

This incredible being, a miracle in the history of biological evolution, this is a Level Four Creature, a World Master.

No matter the method, once breaking through the suppression of Balance Rules governing the world itself, one can then receive the compensation of the Balance Rules itself, completing the purpose of the balance significance inherent in the Balance Rules, compensating back the former suppression through the compensation at this moment.

Suddenly, beneath Green’s Mask of Truth, when his bichromatic eyes looked at the Second Ring Holy Tower, it felt incredibly suppressive. Residing in the core of the World’s Heart of this Second Ring World, it felt as though the body was squeezed into a box, creating a suffocating feeling, requiring effort to stabilize and control his own power to prevent too much environmental impact destruction.

Step by step, Green walked out of the tavern and stood on the street inside the Second Ring Holy Tower.

More and more unfamiliar wizards of the Second Ring Holy Tower gathered, looking at this true body that was constantly expanding, the hundreds of meters tall Barbarian Giant Sun Chaser, with respect and admiration climbing endlessly, constantly inquiring secretly which Great Sorcerer was ascending.

The enormous true body, after breaking through the limits and constraints on individual creatures imposed by the Endless World Balance Rules, the Balance Rules at this moment began to feed back into Green, every cell of Green was receiving unprecedented baptism and nourishment from the Balance Rules.

2250, 2678, 3450, 3980, 4560, 5320...

Green’s physique was increasing at an incredible speed, once breaking through the shackles of the individual creature and fully releasing the evolutionary potential of cells, and receiving nourishment from the Balance Rules, two entirely different worlds will be divided compared to individual biological creatures.

One-seventh, one-sixth, one-fifth, one-fourth, one-third, one-half, ninety percent!

Green advanced to Level Four Creature naturally, without the need of Sorcerer’s Tower Source of Magic Power, he could achieve complete control over his spiritual power.

Until his transformation of spiritual power into magic power control reached ninety percent, restricted by the Second-Level Wizard period’s flesh and blood potential breakthrough method, finally reaching his own control limit!

”Elemental Embodiment...”

In a deep murmur, black flames blazed wildly, enveloping Green. Riding the over two hundred meters tall Wushi Flame Soul Giant Elemental Body controlled by Green’s true body, he gazed at the more and more congregating worshipping wizards. (To be continued.
