Chapter 809: Chapter 218 Zhao Ya: Chen 94 Your Strategy is Too Awesome_2

As a result, the entire Hubei Road becomes chaotic, and at this time, the Zoroastrian Sect directly dispatches an elder to Hubei Road. Acting cheaply, let’s see if it can incite civil unrest to support the northern war.

This is a big chess move by the Zoroastrian Sect, and Mianshui is just a small part of it.

Peng Yingyu replied: ”Dispatch an elder to Hubei? Haha, Hubei is such an important place, one elder might not be enough, right?”

Upon hearing this, Han He replied: ”Venerable speaks rightly. If the Hubei affairs go smoothly, or if there are obstacles, my master is most likely to personally come to Hubei once.”

Peng Yingyu gently nodded: ”Miss Han handling this, it’s almost enough.”

Actually, dispatching an elder to Hubei shows how much the Zoroastrian Sect values Hubei. After all, the main forces of the Zoroastrian Sect are currently desperately fighting the court in the north.

So it’s not easy to transfer an elder.

The organizational structure of the Zoroastrian Sect is: One Sect Leader, Two Venerables, Four Great Dharma Kings, under the Dharma Kings are Twelve Elders.

Thus, the strength at the elder level is also very strong.

At minimum, one needs to be at the Rainbow Realm, and stronger elders should be at the Dragon Realm.

For example, the elders of the Twelve, the dragon and tiger elders, are Dragon Realm experts. Back then, Han Miaozhen also stood out from the Twelve Elders and was promoted to Dharma King.

Therefore, this uprising on Hubei Road might be presided over by a strong Rainbow Realm expert.

And this is in the early stages, if in later stages, as more experts from the court arrive, even a Dharma King might be dispatched to oversee the uprising.

But, of course, this premise is that Hubei Road needs to become chaotic.

And currently, the most likely place on Hubei Road to become chaotic is Mianshui County. If Mianshui County experiences famine due to grain shortage, resulting in a large number of refugees, the Zoroastrian Sect can take advantage of the situation.

Therefore, at this time, Mianshui County is also considered a very important place in the eyes of the Zoroastrian Sect. If things go wrong, it might become the inaugural site of the Hubei uprising.

Chen Jie left the scene, and the common people, realizing the situation, immediately rushed to Antai Grain Store in the White Tiger Hall of the West District to buy grain. At once, Antai Grain Store was surrounded and packed.

At this time, Chen Jie also left the scene.

Xiao Hu looked at Chen Jie and said: ”Gang Leader, it seems like someone deliberately set fire to this east warehouse. I will lead the brothers to investigate and see which bastard dared to burn our Fishing Guild’s warehouse. Once caught, I will surely skin him alive.”

Upon hearing this, Chen Jie looked at Xiao Hu and said: ”Hey, no need, Zhou Chu did it.”

”Ah, Old Zhou, he...”

Xiao Hu was shocked upon hearing this, and Chen Jie said: ”I instructed him to burn it.”

Xiao Hu looked puzzled, and Chen Jie said: ”Alright, stop asking so many questions. Immediately send people to search for clues throughout the city, and make a grand fuss about it.”

Upon hearing this, Xiao Hu said: ”Gang Leader, what do you mean?”

Chen Jie said: ”Haha, with such a big incident, if we don’t investigate, that wouldn’t be right. Yes, two days, just find Zhou Chu in two days.”

”Ah, Gang Leader, what do you mean?”

Chen Jie said: ”Just go handle it.”

Xiao Hu heard and cupped his fists, saying: ”Yes, I will handle it right away.”

After finishing all this, Zhao Ya rushed in from outside and said: ”Chen Jiusi, the grain has been burned, what do we do now!”

Seeing Zhao Ya in such a state, Chen Jie smiled and said: ”Commandery Princess, don’t worry, it hasn’t been burned, it hasn’t been burned.”

”Hasn’t been burned?”

Zhao Ya was stunned, and Chen Jie signaled her. Zhao Ya immediately said to Ah Da and others following her: ”You all go outside and stand guard.”

Following this, Zhao Ya looked at Chen Jie and said: ”Chen Jiusi, what exactly are you doing? What do you mean it hasn’t been burned?”

Chen Jie upon hearing this said: ”I mean the grain is perfectly fine and hasn’t been burned.”

”Not burned, then what were you doing outside?”

”Acting.”

Zhao Ya looked bewildered at Chen Jie and said: ”Acting? Who are you acting for?”

Chen Jie said: ”The big fish.”

Zhao Ya looked bewildered at Chen Jie and said: ”Big fish, what big fish?”

Chen Jie smiled and said: ”Haha, Commandery Princess, drink a cup of tea, calm down.”

”To save Mianshui, relying only on the grain we have is not enough, a large amount of grain needs to enter.”

Zhao Ya said: ”So what then?”

”Where is a large amount of grain, two groups of people, one is the court, the court has official granary, but the official granary grain is either transferred north or used for stabilization, so even with the identity of a Commandery Princess, you can only borrow 30,000 shi, not enough to solve Mianshui’s crisis.”

Zhao Ya nodded lightly, conveniently drinking a sip of tea poured by Chen Jie.

”Yes, that’s right.”

”So I targeted the second group of people with grain.”

Zhao Ya squinted her eyes and said: ”Scholars in the city, no, wealthy merchants!”

Zhao Ya mentioned a term, wealthy merchants!

That’s right, wealthy merchants, these people are powerful, with connections all over, even the court rarely has a way to deal with them.

Because they have already bribed those above, holding court permission, selling grain, local officials dare not use force against them.

And their favorite thing to do is to profit from national crises.

Moreover, they are very sensitive to information, wherever a disaster is about to occur, they immediately feel it, then immediately start investigating the situation, mobilizing resources, and then sweeping up the wealth of the people in that place.

And during these days, Chen Jie has been observing and discovered the spies sent by these people to Mianshui.

These people are very secretive, if Chen Jie hadn’t earlier sent people to monitor them, it would be hard to notice, they would pretend to be ordinary people, record daily grain sales at grain stores, to determine the market.

Then civilians would also send people to investigate, finally summarizing information for these wealthy merchants.

And Chen Jie’s goal this time is to attract these wealthy merchants to Mianshui, and Chen Jie has already received the news that the grain of these wealthy merchants has even been shipped to Hubei, preparing to earn big.
