Daily Intelligence System: Don't Kill Me, Honey!

”It’s okay, I’m here!”

Looking at the few house servants closing in, Chen Jie tightened Su Yunjin’s hand.

To reassure her.

He then looked at Aunt Erba, who had been pushed to the ground, and said, ”Yunjin, help Aunt Erba up first, I’ll be done here in a moment.”

After saying this, Chen Jie rolled up his sleeves, facing the few Yu Family house servants who were closing in.

He didn’t waste any words and directly started the fight!

”Go!”

The four house servants exchanged glances and immediately charged forward, swinging their fists.

Although these house servants were mere lackeys, they indeed had some skills, having trained in martial arts regularly; thus, their moves were systematic, and even two of them had the semblance of a decent style.

The Yu Family’s house servants were essentially reserves for the Guild Cao.

If this had been Chen Jie a few days ago, he definitely wouldn’t have been able to handle these guys, but now Chen Jie was different.

After the medicinal bath stimulation from yesterday, he was now just a step away from reaching the Skin Buff Realm, and his Grand Ancestor Long Fist had reached beyond expert level, just shy of achieving Small Success.

At this moment, as several men charged at him.

Instantly, he used the \\”Sea Sand Scooping\\” technique—half-bending his body, he snatched up a handful of sand from the ground and flung it at the eyes of the four charging house servants.

If he had been more prepared and carried a bag of lime in his pocket today, the effect would have been even better.

But even without lime, the sand worked; the sand flew, instantly blinding the eyes of the four charging house servants.

Ah...

Fuck...

With sand in their eyes, all four men cried out in pain. Chen Jie quickly stepped forward and executed the second move, \\”Yin Handle.\\”

As the name suggests, his right arm swung like a pendulum, fiercely hitting the groin of the nearest house servant.

Crack.

”Ah~”

The sound of eggs cracking. The house servant, in pain, bent over just as Chen Jie kneed him in the face and, with a downward swing of his right elbow, struck the back of his head, instantly incapacitating him, leaving him retching and foaming at the mouth on the ground.

Meanwhile, the other house servants reacted, baring their teeth and wildly throwing punches.

Chen Jie feinted with a move, dodged the strike, and immediately followed with a \\”Face-to-face Palm\\” + \\”Yin Slap\\”

Seeing the opponent’s fist miss, exposing a wide-open face, Chen Jie swiftly struck his eyes, forcing him instinctively to cover up; then, Chen Jie delivered a Yin Slap!

Crack!

Chaos and shattered eggs!

Instantly incapacitated.

As the other two house servants snapped back to reality and charged at him, Chen Jie lunged forward, like a fish darting through water, with a \\”Close-range Elbow Strike\\”

Aimed at the heart, a single blow caused a momentary cardiac arrest, followed by a kick straight to the groin, ensuring no future generations!

The last house servant felt his scalp tingle with fear, but Chen Jie spared him no mercy, moving in close with the \\”Two Dragons Playing with a Pearl\\”

Two fingers jabbed directly into the eyes, coupled with a \\”Knee Kick to Perineum\\”

In an instant, this house servant fainted, and just like that, four house servants were downed by Chen Jie.

Everyone looked at Chen Jie with expressions of horror; his techniques were devilishly cunning. Just one hit could cause chaos and shattered eggs, it looked painful just watching.

Chen Jie finished off and approached the first house servant he had knocked down, staring at him and said, ”Your turn!”

”Chen, Chen Jiusi, don’t mess around, I...”

”Can’t even speak properly, useless!”

Bang, Chen Jie jumped straight forward, kicking at the groin. The man tried to block it, but he wasn’t as quick as Chen Jie. His face turned pale, and clutching his groin, he began to wail.

”Aiyo yo...”

Chen Jie then said, ”Do me a favor and relay a message to Yu Sanliu. I don’t want to provoke him, and he better not provoke me either. I’ll discuss this with Steward Wu, and besides, I’ll be starting work at the fishery tomorrow. If you bother me again, it won’t just be a personal issue!”

Having said this, Chen Jie turned to Su Yunjin, who was now pale-faced, and asked, ”Are you alright?”

”No, nothing, they?”

Chen Jie said, ”It’s okay, Aunt Erba, are you alright?”

”No, no harm done, just took a fall.”

Chen Jie helped Aunt Erba to her feet and had Su Yunjin assist her while he picked up the basket of vegetables from the ground and led them towards the village.

Only the group at East River was left, clutching their groins and wailing in pain!

This was the Grand Ancestor Long Fist, a boxing style meant for killing enemies on the battlefield, devoid of aesthetics and even somewhat sinister.

This is why modern people say traditional Martial Arts are impractical for fighting.

Indeed, according to current combat sports rules, it definitely wouldn’t be allowed since this Martial Arts is not meant for competitive arenas.

To phrase it pretentiously: Martial Arts are meant for killing enemies, not for performance.

That statement isn’t wrong.

It’s not that profound; simply put, Martial Arts aim to incapacitate an opponent as quickly as possible, rendering them unable to fight and possibly killing them!

Therefore, it doesn’t look pretty in action, whether it’s poking eyes or kicking, grabbing, and punching the groin.

Can you imagine, on a modern fight ring, two Martial Arts experts wearing boxing gloves, assuming a stance, and one suddenly rips off his gloves and throws lime in the other’s face then grabs and squeezes his opponent’s groin?

Is that something you’d see on TV?

By banning these deadly moves, traditional Martial Arts are reduced to mere physical exercise and fancy routines.

But Chen Jie learned the authentic Grand Ancestor Long Fist, the ruthless, no-holds-barred style from the battlefield.

Eye poking, groin kicking!

Sneaky enough, but lacking the hero’s spirit.

However, it’s indeed effective.

After today, there will hardly be anyone daring to trouble Chen Jie unless they wear a groin guard in advance!

On the way back, Chen Jie was reflecting on what was lacking today—[Should have brought a bag of lime!]

Sand can blind for a short time, but lime, heh... will blind upon contact with moisture!

”Yunjin.”

Chen Jie called out to Su Yunjin.

”Hmm?”

Su Yunjin, who was helping Aunt Erba home, turned to look at Chen Jie. Chen Jie said, ”That, when we get back, can you sew me a small cloth bag, just big enough to hang on my waist!”

Upon hearing this, Chen Jie demonstrated the size.

Su Yunjin nodded gently, ”Mm, I got it.”

Soon, they reached Uncle Erba’s home. Chen Jie opened the wicker gate, and as Aunt Erba entered the house, Uncle Erba, who was weaving baskets with Xiao Hu, came over immediately.

”What’s going on, what happened?”

Seeing his wife injured, Uncle Erba anxiously inquired.

Aunt Erba waved her hand, ”It’s nothing, just got pushed a bit, no big deal!”

Chen Jie recounted the events, and Uncle Erba’s face turned red with anger, ”The Yu Family has gone too far!”

Xiao Hu also angrily said, ”Next time, Jiu Si, call me too; I’ll help you fight them!”

Chen Jie smiled and said, ”Alright, Uncle Erba, Hu Zi, I have something serious to talk about!”

Chen Erba and Hu Zi both looked at Chen Jie, ”What is it, so serious?”

Chen Jie smiled and said, ”Did you know the fishery is hiring staff?”

Uncle Erba and Xiao Hu nodded, ”Yeah, didn’t Lu San and Chen Sanliu get into a fight over it? It was quite the commotion, I heard there were only two spots, and they were quickly taken.”

Chen Jie responded with a smile, ”I did that.”

”What?”

Both were surprised listening to Chen Jie.

Chen Jie continued, ”Yeah, one of those spots is for me, and the other I recommended for Xiao Hu.”

”Xiao Hu, you’ll come with me to the fishery to report tomorrow; from tomorrow on, you are a fishery staff member.”

”Really?”

Xiao Hu jumped up excitedly!
