Ning An's Wild Wish System

Seeing his ally speak, the old man suddenly felt confident again.

He wailed continuously, ”Oh, my heavens, in my Wang family, how did we end up with such an unfilial descendant?”

”It’s said parents are infinitely good to their children, but children treat their parents purely out of will. I’m so miserable, so miserable.”

The middle-aged woman chuckled, ”You can relax. When you find your biological daughter, she might be so dazed, she’d agree to take care of you.”

”I might look like your daughter, so you’ve got the wrong person. I don’t blame you. Stop causing a scene and go home. Your mahjong table awaits.”

Wang Sheng was dumbfounded, but he was unwilling to give in. The fuss he caused was for the huge flow of traffic; otherwise, he wouldn’t have waited until she entered Changchun Temple to start the commotion.

”You’re his biological daughter. This blood relation is unbreakable!”

”He has only one child, you. Even if it gets taken to court, in the end, you’re the one obligated to support him.”

”Parents give you life, you must care for them till the end. It’s only natural!”

”If you don’t pay for support, what’ll happen to your old father? Who will take care of him? Anyone with a conscience couldn’t bear to watch an elderly man head towards a dead end!”

”Whatever, I am heartless; you might as well not consider me as human. It’s okay.”

”You just have a sharp tongue! If it really goes to court, do you think the judge would watch a living person sit there waiting to die, or will they force you to take care of your dad?”

”Oh, whatever, death it is then. Who hasn’t faced death since ancient times? To leave behind a scarlet heart illuminating history.”

”You punk!”

”Idiot.”

The two were in a fierce verbal battle, neither willing to yield.

The tension grew more intense, and seemed like it would be difficult to contain.

The mediator and surrounding angry incense burner guests joined the battlefield as well.

Suddenly, the scene turned chaotic.

As for the host, Ning An was merely watching, saying nothing, while the livestream viewers began to get worked up.

”Brother Sect Leader, say something, say something.”

”Little Daoist, you’re the temple’s supervisor. Quickly kick out this shameless old man.”

”Kicking him out is useless. Ultimately, someone still has to bear this bitter fruit. It’s crucial everything is done with procedural justice. Do you really think the court would issue a ruling that disadvantages both the individual and society?”

”Sigh, yes, if such a case went to court, it’d be a classic case. The court would definitely enforce filial obligations; otherwise, it could cause a massive impact. If everyone shirks their duties and takes it to court, the world will be chaotic.”

”The one upstairs is right. I used to work in court. Everything must be procedurally justified. This is not societal deformity, but rather the ultimate protection for the ordinary people at the bottom; otherwise, you couldn’t imagine those higher-ups...”

”Then... isn’t this woman’s whole life ruined???”

”My blood pressure is rising, need some blood pressure meds!”

”...”

At this moment, Ning An was also pondering.

After all, although this matter was unrelated to Changchun Temple, it started fermenting within his temple.

He could choose to handle it coldly, but honestly, he couldn’t.

No matter the circumstances, if he remained indifferent, it wouldn’t just negate his years of practice, but also reflect the failure of his society’s decades-long education.

As Ning An slightly furrowed his brow, seeking a solution, the system’s voice suddenly sounded.

[Gender: Female]

[Occupation: White Collar Worker]

[Name: Wang Wenyan]

[Wish: Let her beastly biological father who is worse than livestock stay far away from her, never to harass her again.]

[Unorthodox Wish Fulfillment Method: This old man is merely looking for someone to take care of him. He doesn’t care who that might be!

The mediator painstakingly brings Wang Wenyan’s father to her, inevitably having a Bodhisattva heart, intolerant of earthly suffering.

Ten minutes later, Wang Sheng’s father made a call, lamenting he had found his biological father. The traits described fit the old man before him, and Wang Sheng is his son.

Since Wang Sheng has such a Bodhisattva heart, if Wang Wenyan doesn’t want to fulfill filial duty, let him do it. A son taking care of his father satisfies all parties.]

Wow!

Looking at the sudden appearance of the blue panel, Ning An was slightly shocked inside.

He swiftly turned his head, only to spot the three sticks of incense in Wang Wenyan’s hand firmly inserted into the incense burner, now burnt to just the base.

”This means, even if the person didn’t articulate or inwardly recite their wish, the incense has already carried it. Once lit, it’s unchangeable.”

Ning An silently suppressed the phenomenon within his heart, then couldn’t help but smile at the increasingly unorthodox wish fulfillment system.

Brilliant!

Simply too ingenious!

The old man will receive care, hence avoiding a court dispute and sparing the judge from difficulty, ensuring procedural justice and avoiding Wang Wenyan’s suffering.

Meanwhile, Wang Wenyan can fulfill her wish, and never see this worthless biological father again, living out her true self!

Perfect!

Ning An’s expression suddenly shifted, which livestream viewers noted immediately.

”Huh? Amidst all this chaos, why is Brother Sect Leader smiling?”

”Could he have thought of a good way to solve the dilemma?”

”Unless he can override the law, otherwise, procedural justice, this barrier cannot be bypassed.”

”Damn, are we really going to push a girl who barely escaped the abyss back into it?!”
