Not Being a Trainer This Time

Chapter 632: Chapter 343: Ursaluna Crossing the Sea? (Part 2)

Luckily, just in time!

Alder looked relaxed: ”This cruise won’t reach Driftveil City until tomorrow. There’s plenty of entertainment and food on the ship, so let’s enjoy it for now!”

”Alright,” Naoki nodded with a smile.

There were many guests on the ship, and Naoki glanced around, spotting many elegantly dressed ladies and gentlemen in refined suits with canes.

Among them were some young trainers with their Pokemon.

Soon, two people caught each other’s eyes, held hands, and headed to the onboard battle area to have a Pokemon battle.

Naoki saw this and shook his head with a smile.

It’s just the Pokemon World after all!

Everything can be settled with a Pokemon battle.

Alder was very interested in these things. He said something to Naoki and then ran off to watch the young trainers’ Pokemon battles.

Naoki, on the other hand, wasn’t interested.

He stayed on the deck, thinking that this was the first time the Alcremie and Glaceon had gone out, and they might never have seen the ocean in their lives. So he took out a few Poke Balls and released his Pokemon.

With flashes of white light, Alcremie, Glaceon, Flutter Mane, Cyclizar, Pawmot, Dragonite, and Ogerpon appeared on the deck.

Sure enough, just as Naoki expected, this group of Pokemon, after taking in their surroundings, immediately ran to the ship’s railing and started exclaiming at the distant ocean.

At this time, the cruise ship had already left the waters of Levincia City and was out on the open sea.

Sunshine, blue skies, white clouds, and a vast ocean stretched out before them, with the glittering sea surface, white waves gently lapping against the ship with the sea breeze.

In the distance, several Wingull flew across the sky, their distant cries carried by the sea breeze.

Gazing at this beautiful scene, the Pokemon who had never seen the ocean were completely stunned.

”Maa maa...”

”Bui bui...”

Even the ancient Flutter Mane gazed at the shimmering sea in awe.

Dragonite scratched its head with a big paw, looking puzzled. It didn’t quite understand what was so fascinating about the ocean.

Koraidon, next to him, said helplessly, ”Ah gaa sss...” Not everyone has seen the ocean.

Dragonite suddenly looked enlightened.

Naoki introduced with a smile, ”This is the ocean. We are now sailing away from the land, out on the ocean.”

Hearing this, Ogerpon nodded happily: ”Bo ni!”

Seeing this, Naoki was a bit surprised: ”Ogerpon, have you seen the ocean before?”

Saying that, Naoki casually took out a bag of Translation Nuts Cake from his bag and started eating it.

These were made from sunflowers he had previously asked Calyrex to help ripen. They’re quite handy to have when traveling.

Ogerpon jumped up twice: ”Bo ni bo ni!” (Seen it! My dad and I took a small boat, crossing the ocean to reach Kitakami!)

As expected, Ogerpon was a Pokemon from elsewhere heading to Kitakami! Naoki thought.

At this moment, Ogerpon seemed to suddenly remember something and joyfully said, ”Bo ni!” (At that time, I saw a big bear with a moon on its forehead swimming across the ocean!)

Hmm? Naoki was a bit surprised: ”A big bear? Is it also a Pokemon?”

Ogerpon nodded its small head: ”Bo ni!” (That’s right! Dad said it’s also a Pokemon. Our small boat passed by it. When I asked where it was going, it said its hometown had terrifying Pokemon and it had to cross the ocean to go elsewhere.)

At this point, Ogerpon couldn’t help but show a worried expression: ”Bo ni...” (But our boat was too small; otherwise, we could have taken it along. I don’t know if that big bear succeeded in crossing the ocean...)

Ogerpon was initially concerned about that Pokemon, but later, even its own safety was at risk, and it couldn’t think about that Pokemon anymore.

A big bear Pokemon with a moon on its forehead... A Teddiursa? Or maybe an Ursaring?

No, Ursaring doesn’t have a moon. Could it be the Ursaluna from the Hisuin Region?!

Naoki doubted it because Ursaluna is a Normal+Ground type Pokemon, which is weak to water, and couldn’t possibly swim across the ocean.

But Ogerpon wouldn’t lie, and besides Ursaluna with a moon on its head, no other Pokemon looks like that.

Thinking of this, Naoki was stunned.

No way? An Ursaluna that can swim across the ocean, that’s too incredible!

Moreover, Naoki was quite intrigued by the fact that the Ursaluna mentioned its hometown had terrifying Pokemon.

These terrifying Pokemon, could they refer to the time-space distortion events in the Hisuin Region?

The time-space distortion caused by Giratina, Palkia, and Dialga, according to Professor Laventon’s research, suggests that the so-called time-space is where multiple universes overlap, saturating the power and causing distortion.

In the game, time-space distortion causes many powerful Pokemon not belonging to this era to appear.

Thinking of this, Naoki couldn’t help but imagine.

An Ursaluna witnessed the arrival of the time-space distortion and saw the red-eyed Pokemon that appeared with it.

Frightened, Ursaluna left the Hisuin Region, planning to cross the ocean to seek refuge elsewhere.
