Not Being a Trainer This Time

This must be the greatest joy for collectors!

Watching various kinds of Pokémon live on their farm, helping with work, or engaging in production.

The bustling, vibrant, and flourishing scene is delightful just to imagine.

Besides, he can plant a Scallion Garden for Farfetch’d, raise a fluffy herd of Wooloo, and collect all types of Eevee to create an Eevee Paradise, where he can build slides, swings, and seesaws for the Eevee to play...

And he will feel very happy just sitting nearby watching the smiles on the Eevee.

Keri brought the Machamp into the room to install pipelines.

This task requires smashing through walls to install the pipes inside, so the house’s power supply was completely cut off to prevent accidents.

Calyrex can’t watch TV, so it can only sit in the garden with Sinistea and Polteageist, enjoying tea.

Other Pokémon in the pasture are playing on the grass.

Naoki is afraid Calyrex will be bored, so he purposely comes over to chat with it.

”In two more years, I’ll buy a computer and a mobile phone for you, and then you can watch whatever TV you want!” Naoki said.

Calyrex was slightly stunned and used Telepathy to say, ”A phone? What is that?”

”Um...” Naoki, who was excited, calmed down.

He thought carefully for a while, then explained, ”It’s a kind of machine, like a combination of a mini TV and a video phone, developed by humans.”

”As long as you connect to the internet, you can use the phone to contact people worldwide. Besides, you can search for cartoons on the internet with your phone and watch whatever you want without watching ads.”

In this world, video software probably doesn’t require memberships, right?

Of course, it doesn’t matter if it does, I can get Calyrex a century-long permanent premium membership.

Hearing this, Calyrex’s eyes lit up instantly, ”There truly exists such a thing in this world!”

”That’s right!” Naoki nodded, giving Calyrex an example, ”If Zacian and Zamazenta also had phones, you could video call with them in the Paldea Region and see how they’re doing, very convenient, isn’t it?”

Calyrex nodded slightly and looked at Naoki with a bit of embarrassment, ”I... I want a phone.”

Seeing Calyrex eager to have one immediately, Naoki then realized, and couldn’t help but say:

”Ahem, this kind of phone hasn’t been developed yet, probably in two more years.”

Calyrex’s eyes showed a hint of disappointment, but soon, it perked up again.

”I have lived in this world for thousands of years, mere two years, I can wait!”

Naoki nodded solemnly, promising, ”Yes, at that time I will buy one first thing and give it to you!”

His little follower is so nice! Calyrex thought, moved.

And Naoki fell into contemplation again.

So next, he had much more to do.

Buy land to expand the farm, raise more Pokémon.

Check the situation of Nemona’s father’s company, choose the right timing to invest, and provide them with research directions.

Besides that...

Just then, the ground beneath Naoki’s feet suddenly stirred.

Immediately after, Dugtrio poked its head out and said to Naoki, ”Cheep cheep!”

”Hmm?” Naoki looked at Dugtrio and asked, ”What’s wrong?”

Dugtrio: ”Cheep cheep!”

Calyrex helped translate beside him, ”They say they found something strange in the underground cave.”
