Not Being a Trainer This Time

Chapter 613: Chapter 335: Alder’s Gratitude (3)

”If you ever need help in the future, don’t hesitate to ask! I’ll be there as soon as I can!”

Naoki: ”...”

He silently swallowed his words because, beyond this reason, Naoki didn’t know how to explain to Alder how he knew him or that he knew about Volcarona’s severe injuries.

However, Alder still felt unsatisfied: ”Is there anything you want? If I can do it, I’ll certainly help you get it!”

”No.” Naoki shook his head.

Speaking of the Unova Region... What concerned him more was that Hydreigon.

Zekrom, Reshiram, Kyurem.

But even though Alder is the Champion, he probably doesn’t know about these three Legendary Pokémon.

At this moment, Alder suddenly noticed the newspaper that Naoki placed on the table.

He asked somewhat unexpectedly, ”Are you very interested in this Rotom Technology Company?”

”Not really!” Naoki was stunned for a moment, taking quite a while before realizing what Alder was talking about.

He honestly said, ”I just have an idea about a communication device I’d like to discuss with them.”

”Oh? A communication device? Like a video phone?” Although Alder wasn’t interested, since Naoki was, he had to ask more—perhaps he could help in some way?

Seeing Alder’s curiosity, Naoki thought for a moment and felt this wasn’t something he couldn’t talk about.

So, he took the pen Alder used for signing and sketched a smartphone on a piece of paper.

”I’m thinking, could we merge video phones and computer networks together? Create a small smart communication device like this, equipped with the Pokedex function inside, which would be very portable. By then, everyone could carry one and contact others anytime.”

Alder pondered that this was basically the Unova Region’s Pokedex, right?

Some trainers in the Unova Region receive a Pokedex from the local professor when they set out, and that Pokedex includes communication functions, allowing them to contact the professor anytime.

Alder didn’t quite understand, but he could help with this.

”I don’t understand these things, but I have a way for you to meet the owner of Rotom Technology Company!” Alder said.

”Huh?”

Alder grinned: ”There will soon be a banquet held in the Unova Region, inviting famous billionaires, entrepreneurs, and powerful trainers from all over the world. Following past practices, the owner of Rotom Technology Company will also be present.”

”I know him, I suppose!” Alder recalled and said, ”A few years ago, I visited, and his little daughter really loved Pokémon battles.”

”Every time she wore a cute dress at the banquet and challenged the trainers, Gym Leaders, and Elites present—I also battled that little girl!”

Hearing this, Naoki was momentarily stunned.

This little girl, could it be referring to Nemona?

Alder looked at him: ”Just in time, I will invite you in my name to that banquet and introduce you to that guy.”

Though Alder didn’t know Naoki before, the young man in front of him not only knew Leon but also had many powerful Pokémon at his side.

The Champion’s intuition told Alder that the scarlet muscular Pokémon in the living room and the one that just used Life Dew to heal Volcarona must be extremely powerful.

He is certainly qualified to attend that banquet.
