Chapter 197: Volume 4 Chapter 3 Arrangement_2

Admiral Russell, formerly the First Admiral of the Gazalin Military and now a military advisor for the Leray Federation, became the focal point of the news!

During the third month of the ground war on Lucerne Planet, Russell issued a statement for the first time publicly acknowledging his leadership of the Freedom Front resistance movement. In his statement, he enumerated the various tragedies caused by the racial hierarchy system, harshly condemning the blatant trampling on civilization through such a legal system. He stated that this form of national racial hierarchy, appearing again thousands of years after the ancient bourgeois revolutions on Earth, is undoubtedly a regression of the times! Russell called on all resisters of the Gazalin Empire to unite and overthrow the Morton family.

One stone caused a thousand ripples! With the release of Russell’s statement, Federation countries immediately stood on the moral high ground, harshly criticizing the few imperial countries with racial systems. The lower-class races living in these Federation countries took to the streets, supporting their oppressed compatriots in the imperial countries. Meanwhile, in Gazalin, a series of attacks shocked the entire Gazalin ruling class. The Freedom Front, in conjunction with some smaller resistance groups, launched four separate targeted attacks on energy, transportation, military, and government institutions. Their actions were decisive, and all four attacks were successful. Only three Freedom Fighters were killed, and none were captured.

The four attacks occurred on four planets within the Little Pyrenees Star Domain, two attacks each breaking out simultaneously. The precise timing and comprehensive planning were astonishing. More importantly, these assaults did not lead to large-scale firefights; actions were carried out by small units! This implies that, whenever they wish, the Freedom Front can launch large-scale multi-target attack operations!

The entire Gazalin Empire was completely bewildered by these four attacks. Various street rumors began to spread, and no one knew where the next attack would occur. The military and local defense forces used their maximum efforts for defense, but how could they shield themselves from widespread panic and public unrest?

Tian Xingjian leisurely sat at his designated spot in the technology department, flipping through the Gazalin Empire’s ”Glorious Times.” This mainstream media outlet is controlled by the Gazalin propaganda ministry’s news management bureau, filled with articles singing praises and omitting worries. However, some hints could still be gleaned amidst the lines of critical news.

For instance, the headline of this issue reported on the Freedom Front’s attack on a heavy energy compression plant. The article was filled with vehement condemnations of the Freedom Front’s shameless destruction of the great Empire, boasting about how the military crushed the enemy’s destructive actions. However, Tian Xingjian easily extracted the information he wanted. This assault, as the report declared, killed more than ten Freedom Fighters; Fatty estimated dividing this number by ten. The report said only one workshop and seven energy tanks were damaged; Fatty analyzed that such damage was irreparable and at least five times what was publicly stated.

The Gazalin Empire’s journalists were indeed very meticulous; they had even developed a fixed pattern for fabricating reports. Tian Xingjian found it amusing every time he compared the newspaper’s data with the Freedom Front’s secret transmissions.

Regarding this Freedom Front operation, Fatty was very satisfied. These guys fully implemented his teachings; both planning and execution were flawless and astonishing. This attack involved eight teams with fewer than two hundred people in total, achieving such results demonstrated that the Freedom Front had thoroughly understood and mastered the ”Enemy Rear Assault Rules.” Fight if you can, flee if you can’t, the primary consideration before forming a plan was not how to destroy the target but how to escape.

The ”Enemy Rear Assault Rules,” a book encompassing countless insights from Fatty, was more of a manual on escaping rather than assault rules. It taught how to harass and tease and then escape quickly. Much like a rogue seeing a beauty on the street; if one rashly ran up and groped, the end was naturally an immediate death. But learning from the rear assault rules, the rogue would plan ahead about what thrill was desired, choose multiple escape routes, and then act. If one wanted a kiss, charging straight ahead worked; for more intimate touches, a hug from behind felt better. For anything beyond – Goddamn, that was the work of a rapist, not a rogue, which was way beneath technical standards.

Russell’s assigned tasks were already laid out, George was now in contact, Bruce had begun investigating himself, and the Mythical Army was rushing around under the command. The remaining part was to see how to execute this. Prison, Fatty had never been there; it would be the largest operation behind enemy lines and the final battle of his task!

Fatty casually put down the newspaper and stretched languorously, drawing a glaring look from Christina opposite him. Fatty grinned foolishly and said, ”Prince George is coming again today, aren’t you running away?”

Christina was startled, checked the time, hurriedly packed up while glaring at Fatty and said, ”Damn Fatty, it’s all your fault! George now treats this place as his office! Who told you to mess with this guy?!”
