Chapter 172: Revised: Volume 3 Chapter 53 Mecha Research Lab_3

Kaloka and the mechanics of the Saradi Company wanted to slap themselves hard. Why didn’t they think of this brilliant idea? This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The significance of this modification, not only for the Mythical Army and the Military Department but also in the civilian modification field, is immeasurable.

The judges were still unable to recover from their shock. When the computer on the observation deck showed the accurate data just tested, the experts were once again in an uproar. This data not only confirmed the reliability of the Holy Knight Company’s data but was even better. Professor Mitchell walked over to Christina in excitement and asked urgently, ”Is this Mecha really modified by your company?”

This question was actually very rude. However, Christina understood Mitchell’s feelings very well. At that time, she herself could hardly believe that the Holy Knight Company could complete this masterpiece. She smiled and nodded, ”Yes, Professor Mitchell, this Mecha was indeed independently completed by us.”

Mitchell was Christina’s mentor during her time in the mechanics department of Tanville Military University, and the two were very familiar with each other. Mitchell laughed heartily, ”As expected from the most talented student of Tanville University, Christina, you have brought honor to the academy! Good! Good!” His joy was beyond words.

Christina smiled shyly and said, ”Professor, the biggest contributor to this modification’s success is not me, but him.” She pointed to Tian Xingjian and said, ”Mr. Zhang Yuan is the chief designer of this modification.”

Everyone present turned their gaze to the chubby man with an honest-looking face standing at the outermost part of the crowd. Tian stood there quietly, neither blushing nor panting, with a somewhat master-like demeanor. Just as everyone was inwardly admiring him, they saw him also turning around looking puzzled, clearly not hearing Christina’s words. Some people couldn’t help but laugh. Tian turned back, bewilderedly scanning everyone’s gazes, occasionally looking behind himself, desperately trying to figure out why these people were looking this way.

Reinhardt laughed heartily, ”Well! This is excellent! Who would have thought that there are civilian mechanical experts of such caliber?” He turned to Christina and said warmly, ”Christine, organize the list of mechanics who participated in this mission. I want to personally request rewards from Your Majesty.” As soon as these words came out, the mechanics of the Holy Knight Company immediately beamed with joy. The rewards and honors bestowed by the Emperor far surpassed those of the Military Department! Christina was even more pleasantly surprised. As long as James knew that she did all this, it would be extremely beneficial for her next plea.

Everyone was clapping and celebrating. Reinhardt adjusted his smile and continued seriously, ”At the same time, everyone on this list will have the opportunity to pass the assessment and join the newly established Mecha Research Laboratory of the Mythical Army, becoming civilian members of the Mythical Army, enjoying the most generous treatment and the Royal Family’s expert allowance!”

This surprising news was too sudden. Civilian mechanics entering the Mythical Army and enjoying the Royal Family expert allowance. Everyone was stunned by this happiness. Christina’s heart raced faster and faster. As long as she became the second female in the Mythical Army, everything would be resolved!

****************

Very frustrated, I lost a thousand words last night as the draft was not saved. The business I negotiated this morning fell through as the other party broke the agreement. In the afternoon, I got caught by Moscow (Huligang) police, took a ride in the police car for half a day, got extorted for eight hundred rubles, and ended up being left in a remote area where I walked for hours to get a taxi back home, damn it! And I got into an accident on the way home!

Uploaded in the evening, but the network was down!

Was today Jesus’ Passion Day?

It’s already the early hours of the fifth in China. The debt is piling up; adding today’s six thousand words, I already owe ten thousand words. Please give me some time, I will pay it back.
