Counterfeit Hero

Chapter 187: Volume 3, Chapter 59: Continuing to Spit Blood at Others_3

Carey was almost driven mad by Fatty. If I didn’t say I hadn’t been there, would I actually admit to being there? Since childhood, he had only ever framed others, when had he ever been framed like this? The feeling of being wrongly accused made him almost insane! Carey clenched his fists tightly, he could barely hold back from throwing a punch at this damned Fatty’s face!

”How dare you slander us! If you don’t explain yourself today, don’t blame us for being rude!” Standing on the side, Martin’s face turned both green and pale, his eyes bloodshot. This accusation was utterly intolerable for these noble offspring. If Fatty were allowed to throw this filth on them today, their lives would be ruined, and they would become the laughing stock of everyone!

Fatty sighed and said, ”You always deny it, but I really saw you guys there on a blind date. I even stood beside you for a while, didn’t you see me?”

”See what, my ass!” Carey was already enraged, his whole body trembling. The feeling of being publicly slandered was unbearable and stifling: ”If you dare to falsely accuse us again, wait to stand trial tomorrow! I’m going to sue you for defamation!”

”Oh!.... I remember now! I have evidence!” Fatty suddenly said as if he had just woken up: ”Wait here, don’t run away, I’ll get the evidence right now!” He finished speaking, asked Christina for the keys to the flying car, and sprinted towards the parking lot.

Hearing that this guy had evidence, Carey and Martin laughed out of extreme anger, they wanted to see what evidence this Fatty could come up with! If he couldn’t prove they had been to Kazek, they would make him regret ever being born! At this moment, Carey and Martin felt so suffocated, looking at the strange eyes of others around them, they really wished they could beat everyone present and then hang that damned Fatty on a tree, torturing him with the cruelest methods imaginable until he swallowed his own words!

Within a few minutes, Carey and Martin were already out of breath, getting more and more furious the more they thought about it, wanting to shout and scream to vent their anger. This Fatty was driving them crazy!

Fatty came running back with an excited smile on his face, calling out as he ran: ”Found it! Found it!”

When the scoundrel ran up, everyone saw that he was holding a new model of cell phone. Everyone was puzzled, and Christina was even more confused, unable to figure out what evidence Fatty could possibly have from her car. This new cell phone was one that the Holy Knight Company had just given him yesterday, what kind of evidence was that?

Fatty ran breathlessly to the group, looking as if he was out of strength, but his face was flushed with excitement, making him seem quite endearing. He held up the phone and said, ”Look, the evidence is here!”

Carey’s face had turned as dark and stormy as a sky about to burst into a thunderstorm. He shouted, ”Quit pretending! Show your evidence already! If you can’t prove anything, heh... ” He abandoned all noble decorum, nearly shouted explosively, ”I’ll let you know the consequences of slandering me! You won’t be walking down Red Leaf Mountain!”

To these noble offspring, this threat was hardly a threat. Everyone knew how important the Gazalin Nobles’ face was. If Fatty was indeed lying, Carey and Martin’s method of retaliation wouldn’t just be accepted by those around them, even Christina couldn’t have any objection, or else it would incite public outrage. Nobles would never allow an unknown Fatty to unscrupulously slander and mock one of them, even if that noble was quite unpleasant.

Unless, Fatty had evidence!

Fatty laughed and said, ”That day, I happened to be testing the long-distance sound recording function of this new cell phone and recorded their conversation. Let’s listen and see who’s lying.”

He put the cell phone on the table in the lounge and played the recording. Martin’s voice came through with a tone of pride: ”How is it? I told you Kazek’s girls were worth it, cheap and wild, expert in all three hundred and sixty-five positions, much better than those flavorless ladies!”

Then came Carey’s voice: ”Damn, I never thought Kazek would have such good stuff. This time you win.”

Martin replied, ”Haha, bring those few idiots next time, I guarantee they’ll fall in love with this place!”

Carey’s voice continued, ”No, no! Just the two of us, if people find out, we’ll lose face.”

Then came a burst of lewd laughter and chaotic whispers, followed by Fatty’s testing of the phone: ”Hey, hello, Aliu, Moshi Moshi, Yamiedie... oh... Ether.”

All of Red Leaf Mountain fell into silence....
