Super Tycoon: I Beg You, Stop Pulling Stunts

”Then what do you want to do?”

Kang Hao asked softly.

”I haven’t decided yet... But I’ve made up my mind to stay here a while longer. If you don’t want to stick around, you should head back soon. Don’t cause any trouble for me here. Just looking at you is starting to annoy me.”

”Go back to the country. At least it’ll be out of sight, out of mind. Besides, isn’t your wedding date coming up soon?”

You Shaoqiang made the arrangement, leaving no room for refusal.

Kang Hao pressed his lips together and glanced at him. He wanted to argue, to offer his own opinion, but he didn’t know what to say.

”I... oh.”

You Shaoqiang smiled. ”Alright, then head back. It’s settled. It’s getting late, so go back to your room and get some sleep.”

Watching Kang Hao’s lonely figure retreat, You Shaoqiang let out a soft sigh.

’What a... child.’

There was nothing to be done. Personality decides fate. With parents that overbearing, most children turn out this way. Those who can withstand it and break free are a rare few.

「The next morning.」

When Lin Chu got up and came downstairs, he saw You Shaoqiang waiting for him in the first-floor living room, chatting with Lu Ming over breakfast.

”Morning, Brother Chu.”

You Shaoqiang stood up and greeted him with a smile.

”Yeah, morning. You two are up early. What are you talking about?”

Lin Chu asked casually, his gaze sweeping the room. He didn’t see Kang Hao, but he didn’t ask about him. It wasn’t his business.

”I had an idea I wanted to run by you... This place is really nice. I was thinking of buying an island nearby, too. We could be neighbors.”

You Shaoqiang said with a calm smile, careful not to seem subservient. That would have been too demeaning.

”Suit yourself... You have the money, anyway. Unlike me, who’s about to go fucking bankrupt...”

Lin Chu said with a casual laugh, sitting down at the dining table. A maid quickly brought him his breakfast.

You Shaoqiang just gave a breezy smile, not taking the bait. ”What’s the plan for today? Anything else fun to do in Dubai? I’m free lately, so I was thinking of staying here for a few more days. Kang Hao already left early this morning. Said an elder in his family wasn’t feeling well.”

Lin Chu glanced at him and put down his chopsticks.

”I’ve got two truths for you. Want to hear them?”

His tone had suddenly turned serious. You Shaoqiang focused, his smile unwavering as he nodded. ”Of course.”

”First, someone is trying to take me down. Hanging around me too much carries unnecessary risks for you.”

”Second, if you truly believe I’m blessed with good fortune and you want to get rich with your brother, then raise some capital for me. From your Unity Association circles. At least ten billion... With your influence as Young Master You, you should be able to do that, right?”

”My situation is difficult right now, but I’m not without a chance to turn things around. I need to consolidate every resource I can get my hands on.”

”I’ll be direct. If you want to cut ties with me, then cut them completely. We’ll go our separate ways and have no contact in the future. If you don’t want to cut ties, then let’s bind ourselves even deeper. As for people who have nothing to do with my real business, I couldn’t care less. I’m busy. Way too busy.”

”You, You Shaoqiang, are a man of some standing, and I respect that. I gave you a way to save face before, and I’m giving you another one now. But I’m not shameless. I can forgive once, maybe twice, but there won’t be a third or a fourth time. I’ve never wronged you, but you can’t just treat me like a chamber pot to be used whenever you please. There’s no point in that.”

”Is that clear enough for you?”

Lin Chu watched him with a grin.

His prominent Adam’s apple bobbed. You Shaoqiang felt an intense pressure, but also a powerful personal charisma radiating from him.

’So direct, so cool, and so fair. It was an overt scheme, laid out in the bright light of day, and it carried a certain spirited defiance.’

Listening to this, Lu Ming’s eyes narrowed. ’Damn, Brother Chu is getting more and more badass, and he really knows how to flex. That boss-like aura... it’s just too intense. The light is blinding. Fuck, he’s asking for financing but he’s acting so damn tough about it, like he’s making people beg to give him money.’

’But... it was so damn satisfying!’
