Super Tycoon: I Beg You, Stop Pulling Stunts

Chapter 559 -329: Making a Scene, Arrogance, a Big Shot, and Money Power

He stared at Lin Chu in disbelief.

‘At a time like this, he actually wants to start something?’

‘Brother Chu’s way of thinking is truly impossible to predict.’

“Are you drunk?”

he ventured another question.

“Nope. Just do as I say and go.”

Lin Chu’s eyes were clear, a smile on his face.

“Isn’t it a bit too soon? We still have twenty-four hours before we disembark.”

Liu Chenhui voiced his concern again. ‘Stirring up trouble is one thing, but we have to consider the consequences.’

“Fuck! Just go!”

“You’re dragging your feet like a woman.”

Lin Chu cursed with a laugh, giving him a shove.

Liu Chenhui took a deep breath, gritted his teeth, and steeled himself. ‘To hell with it.’ He was all in. ‘Fuck, if Brother Chu isn’t scared, what the hell do I have to be afraid of?’

His eyes darted to his rear flank where he spotted a stocky-looking Asian man. He casually walked over, grabbed a wine bottle from a table, and smashed it directly over the man’s head.

In Liu Chenhui’s mind, this man was currently the most suspicious target. He’d followed them all the way from the restaurant, and he had a menacing look on his face.

CRACK!

The heavy glass bottle shattered on impact, and dark red blood began to well up on the man’s head.

Someone nearby screamed, looking on in a panic.

The performance hall’s security guards quickly headed in their direction.

The man whose head had been split open paled, clutching his scalp and writhing in pain in his seat. He sucked in sharp breaths between furious curses.

“Well, well. From the accent, he’s one of those Japs.”

Lin Chu said with a nonchalant smile, looking at the four towering security guards who had arrived. “Ah Hui, tell them I suspect this man was secretly filming me. Have them investigate.”

Liu Chenhui took a deep breath, faced the guards, and, feigning some agitation, relayed what Lin Chu had said.

The guards were taken aback for a moment, then quickly got on their walkie-talkies to report the situation.

First, they called for the medical team.

Then, they escorted both parties away.

They had all seen this guest—the one who’d just assaulted someone—throwing money onto the stage earlier. He was wearing a platinum wristband, marking him as one of the ship’s most distinguished guests.

While assault was obviously wrong, the situation needed to be handled with care.

Swept along by the security detail, Lin Chu departed with a look of casual contentment.

Liu Chenhui looked at him, not knowing whether to laugh or cry.

‘I wonder if we got the wrong guy.’

‘It looks like we probably did. The man didn’t seem to have any fight in him.’

‘But this might be for the best. At least the ship’s security is involved now.’

‘Brother Chu forced himself into the spotlight. Now, those hidden watchers will have to be more cautious.’

The two actresses who had stood up to follow Lin Chu had witnessed the whole thing. They licked their lips and exchanged a look of amused bewilderment.

‘He seems a little crazy.’

‘But he really gives off that big-shot vibe. Hitting someone just because he feels like it, lashing out the moment he suspects he’s being watched… no hesitation at all. It’s incredibly charismatic.’

“I’m going with him,”

the one on the left said to the other.

The other shrugged, swaying her body slightly. “Okay, me too.”

The two of them followed behind.

As many people in the performance hall watched them leave, Han Xingmin also saw the entire spectacle, feeling somewhat dumbfounded.

‘My impression of Lin Chu has been revised once again.’

‘He actually dared to make a move!’

‘He really did it!’

‘On the ship!’

‘He acted so decisively on mere suspicion.’

‘A sudden wave of curiosity washed over him, and he almost wanted to laugh.’

‘He wasn’t sure if the man who got hit was one of his own, but at least he himself hadn’t been discovered.’

‘However…’

‘With the ship’s security now involved, monitoring Lin Chu would become significantly more difficult.’

For a moment, Han Xingmin’s brow furrowed slightly.

…

After leaving with the guards, they were taken to a closed cabin. The regular guards wore black uniforms, but here there was a man who looked like a leader, dressed in a white uniform. He was a middle-aged, blond, blue-eyed man who was slightly balding.

“I suspect someone on this ship is monitoring me. I demand to see the ship’s surveillance footage to analyze any suspicious individuals.”

“I’ll pay.”

“Half a million? A million? Or five million?”

“Name your price.”

Lin Chu said, his expression blank and his tone icy.

Liu Chenhui translated every word for him, even mimicking his tone perfectly.

‘You know…’

‘This feeling, right here and now, is actually pretty damn satisfying.’

‘So this is the superpower of money, huh?’

He suddenly understood the source of Lin Chu’s fearlessness. Yes, there might be enemies on the ship, but most people weren’t enemies. Enemies couldn’t be bought, but almost everyone else on this ship could be.

The captain in the white uniform heard this and glanced at their expressions…

A guard beside him quickly recounted Lin Chu’s act of throwing money around in the performance hall…

His brow furrowed. He looked troubled but managed to force a smile. “I’m sorry, sir, but the cruise ship is currently in international waters. We don’t have law enforcement authority. For now, could you two gentlemen please remain here? I need to get a detailed account of what happened…”

The cruise ship’s security team was just that—security, not police.

Generally, fights were rare on the cruise. Ordinary disputes between guests were usually mediated. If things truly escalated, the ship would have to dock and let the police from the nearest port country handle it…

But that process was too much trouble and would have a huge impact on the other passengers’ journeys, not to mention the cruise line’s business.

Unless absolutely necessary, their default attitude was to smooth things over.

“The man I had hit—if it was the wrong guy, I’ll compensate him. I’ll pay whatever it costs.”

“If it wasn’t the wrong guy, I want to interrogate him.”

“I must insist on seeing the surveillance footage.”

“Otherwise, you, all of you, your supervisor, the ship’s captain… I guarantee you will all be hearing from my lawyers.”

Lin Chu said again.

Liu Chenhui was…

…suppressing a smile as he translated once more.

He couldn’t help but marvel internally. ‘Brother Chu, you son of a bitch… so wicked, and so damn slick.’

‘But this was exactly how it should be handled. In an instant, they had completely flipped the script, turning a passive situation into an active one.’

Hearing this…

The supervisor in the white uniform’s expression changed again. His sharp Adam’s apple bobbed, and the smile on his face grew even more servile. “If you two would be so kind as to wait, I will go investigate and report back immediately.”

He shot a look at his subordinates, and they quickly snapped to attention.

“Do one thing first!”

“Search that man. See if he has any surveillance equipment on him! And check his phone. Have my bodyguard go with you!”

“Also, bring those two pretty ladies from before over to me. And while you’re at it, get me another bottle of wine.”

“I’ve had quite a scare. I need to relax and recover.”

Lin Chu continued to issue demands.

After Liu Chenhui finished translating…

The man in the white uniform looked like he was about to have a breakdown. The regular guards also stared nervously at Lin Chu. His presence was overwhelming; the man was just too arrogant…

But… he was rich.

The kind of rich that clearly came with power.

“I’ll handle it. I’ll handle it as quickly as possible. Please, I trouble you to wait.”

There was a pleading note in the white-uniformed man’s voice now. The demand to search a person was a bit much, but his later requests were very easy to fulfill.

And so…

「A few minutes later.」

In the staff cabin, Lin Chu was drinking and laughing with the two actresses who had followed him.

Liu Chenhui had stepped out for a moment. He returned with the other five hundred thousand from their room, then left again to go check on the injured man. The decision to search him hadn’t been made yet; the supervisor had gone to make inquiries, assess the situation, and figure out how to proceed.

Four security guards stood watch at the door.

At that moment, the guards watched this arrogant, domineering man laughing and flirting with two beautiful women. They exchanged glances, their lips pressed into tight lines of resignation.

They were angry, but there was nothing they could do.

Their captain had to report this matter up the chain of command and ask for instructions on how to handle it.

For now, at least, their hands were tied.

“Hey, you guys are working hard. Remember me. If you spot any suspicious characters still watching me, tell me immediately. If it’s confirmed, there’s a reward…”

Lin Chu stood up, casually pulled four stacks of cash from a bag, and tossed them to the guards with an air of indifference.

Looking at the money thrown on the floor…

Four thick wads of cash…

Each wad looked to be about twenty thousand USD.

The four guards looked at each other, temptation flickering in their eyes.

A cruise ship is part of the service industry. It was perfectly normal for guests to give tips; it was one of their sources of income.

But a tip this large… in all their years on the job, they had never seen anything like it.

“Go on, take it… tips!”

With a wave of his hand, Lin Chu returned to his seat and continued drinking.

The two actresses’ gazes grew even more heated.

‘A big shot!’

‘An absolute big shot!’
