Super Tycoon: I Beg You, Stop Pulling Stunts

Chapter 561 -330: In the Name of Justice

The manager quickly opened the door.

Inside the medical bay, two staff members in white coats were cleaning the wound of the man whose head had just been cracked open. It hadn’t been bandaged yet. Seeing Liu Chenhui enter, the man immediately started shouting in anger again.

He casually tossed the person in his arms to the floor. Liu Chenhui strode toward the injured man, pushed the two staff members aside, and, quick as lightning, landed another karate chop.

After a few feeble twitches, there was another unconscious person in the medical bay.

The two staff members in white coats were speechless.

So was the manager.

With swift, practiced motions, Liu Chenhui searched the man’s body. He checked his wallet, phone, and passport. There was no special equipment on him, and no videos on his phone. After a quick scan of his chat history, Liu Chenhui scratched his head.

“He’s got issues, too.”

“Here, look at his chat history. He’s into guys. He was probably following or spying on someone, maybe me.”

“That’s why he got caught in the crossfire.”

“You guys can go back to treating his wound.”

Liu Chenhui said, forcing a calm expression.

‘Damn it, I really did get the wrong guy!’

The three of them were once again speechless.

「 … 」

“Brother Chu, I have good news and bad news. Which do you want to hear first?”

A few minutes later, Liu Chenhui swaggered back into the cabin, dragging the person with him. For some reason, he felt a strange sense of excitement.

It was as if some strange new part of him had been unlocked.

Before meeting Lin Chu, he’d always thought being a bodyguard was just a job, a way to support his family.

But the more he was around Lin Chu, the more he was influenced, and now, he was starting to like this feeling.

‘Between nations, cannons are justice!’

‘Between people, money is justice, and so are your fists!’

“Damn it, what terrible timing! I was just about to drop my pants!”

“Go on. Tell me both.”

Lin Chu said with a laugh and a curse. He stood up, already getting a good idea of the situation. It looked like they’d caught another one.

“The bad news is, we got the wrong guy, that Japanese fellow. The good news is, we didn’t get this one wrong. He was sneaking around outside just now, probably trying to scout things out. I knocked him out and found this surveillance device on him.”

Liu Chenhui pulled out a button to show him.

“Tie him up first. Then get me a laptop. I want to see.”

A flicker of excitement appeared in Lin Chu’s eyes. “Has your captain come over yet?” he said casually, turning to the manager who had been following them the whole time. “I need to have a serious talk with him. For something like this to happen on a cruise ship… If we were on solid ground, I’d have put a bullet in him already.”

The manager had gone numb.

‘These two guests,’ he thought, ‘each one talks bigger than the last. But it doesn’t seem like they’re faking it. This attitude is just like those damn Americans. Still, it’s hard to say. I haven’t even seen their IDs yet…’

‘But there’s no doubt that the company is in a rather unfavorable position right now.’

‘After all, someone really was spying on them!’

“I’ve already reported it. The Head of Security is on his way,”

he said wearily.

“Tell him to hurry up!”

“And… the laptop, the surveillance footage! I want to see it all!”

Lin Chu kicked a nearby trash can, sending it flying, his voice laced with agitation.

‘He wasn’t sure when he’d formed this stereotype, but it seemed foreigners were all masochists: push them, and they’d back down; show weakness, and they’d push back.’

「 … 」

「 In the surveillance room. 」

A man in a white uniform with three-bar epaulets, the Head of Security, had already finished watching all the surveillance footage. He had also looked up the identities of everyone involved in the incident.

The identity Lin Chu used to board the ship was Lord Vincent from New York. His information listed him as a technical engineer for FROG, the reactor owner’s group of a French power company—a very sensitive and core department.

The other man was listed as his assistant.

As for the two who were assaulted…

One was a Japanese man, an employee of a manga company.

The other was a South Korean man, registered as a fitness coach.

Just looking at this information sent the Head of Security’s imagination running wild. He could faintly smell a conspiracy.

The cruise ship was currently several hundred nautical miles from the nearest port. Besides, in a situation like this, it was best not to dock at all.

If official authorities got involved, things would become even more troublesome.

The entire cruise ship might be subject to a lengthy investigation. For the company, that was absolutely unacceptable.

After another look at the surveillance footage, he had a plan.

He hurried downstairs, heading straight for the medical bay.

The man inside had woken up, his head now bandaged.

He pushed the door open and walked in.

The two staff members in white coats greeted the Head of Security respectfully. The man on the bed glanced at him, and though he tensed up slightly, he was still agitated.

“Mr. Kishitani,” he began, “I am the Head of Security for this cruise ship, Leon Vincent. We currently suspect you of illegally participating in espionage. Of course, we have no law enforcement authority on the ship, but I have already reported this matter to the police and the relevant authorities in your country. Please prepare for the subsequent investigation.”

He spoke first, his tone grave and his expression serious.

Hearing this, the man named Kishitani was completely stunned. Fear crept into his eyes, his pupils dilating.

“I… I didn’t… How could I be a spy? I’m just a tourist, a real tourist… I was gathering material for inspiration! I’m a manga artist!”

he stammered in a panic.

A hint of cunning flickered in Leon Vincent’s eyes, and he offered a faint smile, but his tone remained formal. “I’m sorry, but that’s not for me to confirm. I will ensure you have basic food and rest on board, but your freedom of movement must be restricted.”

“Of course, you can choose to sign a waiver and a statement right now, giving a detailed account of your dispute with those two important individuals.”

“I’m sure the police will make a fair judgment, but… to be honest, I’m not optimistic about your chances.” ℯℯ𝑙.

‘It’s best to make a big problem small, and a small problem disappear entirely.’

‘Compared to provoking two Americans, especially two with sensitive identities, this poor sap in front of me is obviously much easier to deal with.’

‘Deal with him first.’

‘As for the other one, that will depend on what those two want.’

“But they were the ones who hit me first…”

Fear filled Kishitani’s eyes again as he mumbled softly. But seeing the Head of Security’s stern gaze, his courage faltered. “I’m really not a spy…” he pleaded.

Leon Vincent shrugged, feigning helplessness.

After a pause, he added more fuel to the fire. “Forgive my bluntness, but if I were you, I would obediently sign the agreement now and settle this to gain as much leniency as possible from the police. I can tell you in no uncertain terms, those two are with the United States Military.”

Kishitani cried out, clutching his head with both hands, his eyes going vacant.

A moment later, he snapped back to his senses and began nodding furiously like a chicken pecking at grain.

“A wise choice!”

Leon Vincent patted him on the shoulder, then turned and left, a slight smile playing on his lips.

‘At least that’s one small problem solved.’

「 … 」

「 Back in the guest cabin. 」

When Leon Vincent entered, he saw that an interrogation was already in progress.

The South Korean man was tied to a chair, soaking wet, having clearly been doused with water to wake him up.

The other two men stood before him, looking down on him.

On the laptop screen on the table, various secretly recorded videos were playing.

Seeing this, he couldn’t help but let out a long sigh. Compared to the first guy, this one was clearly much more unfortunate.

He’d been caught red-handed.

Han Xingmin glanced back and saw the white uniform with three-bar epaulets—clearly an important figure on the ship, second only to the captain and first mate. After a moment’s thought, he yelled, “Sir, I want to report them! These two are wanted murderers!”

Hearing this…

The color drained from Liu Chenhui’s face.

Lin Chu didn’t understand, but he caught on after Liu Chenhui whispered a quick explanation in his ear.

Leon Vincent’s pupils contracted. He bit his lip, then suddenly strode forward and slammed his fist into Han Xingmin’s stomach.

“Murderers!”

“Who’s a murderer?!”

“I don’t see any murderers here! But I do see a shameless bastard who spies on and secretly films people on my ship!”

He punctuated the sentence with another punch.

“Just you wait, you bastard! I’ll teach you what justice is! What the law is!”

he yelled at Han Xingmin.

‘As if my problems aren’t big enough already?’
