Super Tycoon: I Beg You, Stop Pulling Stunts

Lin Chu was left speechless by this theory, and he chuckled to himself.

After two glasses of wine,

Lin Chu simply made a sweeping gesture.

“Wipe them out. All of them. I mean it… My legal team and security team will take the lead. You just need to provide some assistance.”

“It’s a big-fish-eats-small-fish world, isn’t it? Well, I’m a pretty damn big fish. So me eating them fits that logic perfectly, right?”

‘Using this to build up my reputation isn’t a bad idea.’

‘Every last one of these scammers is scum. This is a good chance for my guys to get some practice and for me to make a name for myself.’

Hearing this, Li Hongfan was so excited and moved that he almost wanted to kowtow to Lin Chu.

Just then, a long-unseen notification quietly appeared on the panel in front of Lin Chu.

[Li Hongfan’s Favorability toward you has exceeded 90]

[Twelfth Friend Slot Unlocked]

[Friend: Li Hongfan]

[Intimacy: 100]

‘Huh.’

‘This…’

Looking at Li Hongfan’s flushed, ecstatic, and moved expression, and his wife beside him, her eyes red as tears streamed down her face, Lin Chu felt a stir of emotion. ‘It’s true, it really isn’t easy to run a small business overseas. Everyone’s just trying to make a living.’

Seeing how determined Lin Chu was, Rashid gave a casual nod of agreement.

It wasn’t a big deal for him—just a matter of saying the word.

‘If Lin Chu isn’t afraid of the trouble and wants to do it, then let him.’

Besides, Lin Chu had gotten along very well with his brothers before.

He’d sent all sorts of gifts, worth tens of millions of USD at a time. Compared to that… those flies in the garbage heap were nothing.

…

They got to work immediately.

That very night, the offices of over a dozen scam companies in Dubai, along with their bosses and core employees, were all rounded up.

The entire operation was coordinated with lawyers and the local police.

The suspects weren’t taken to any official departments; they were brought directly to the LC Security Group training base.

Lin Chu didn’t get too involved in the cleanup, merely emphasizing the need to generate a lot of buzz in the media.

The official story, of course, was that LC Security Group, in cooperation with the local police, had apprehended the criminals and brought them to justice.

But behind the scenes…

anyone with good sources could find out what really happened.

A dragon had crossed the river into Dubai!

A man who could get anything he wanted!

An incredibly powerful and dominant figure, but one who was on the side of justice!

By the next morning, the entrance to the LC training base was swarmed with Chinese businessmen who had heard the news.

Some even bought firecrackers and fireworks and set them off at the gate.

The big shot had made a name for himself in a single stroke, right after arriving.

Now was, naturally, the perfect time to pay him a “visit.”

Even Li Hongfan became a hot commodity in his social circle, his star rising.

But Lin Chu didn’t make an appearance just yet. ‘Let the bullets fly a little longer.’

‘The big boss, of course, always makes the final entrance.’

…

In this world, all rules ultimately came down to power and wealth.

Lin Chu didn’t show his face at the training base. Over the next few days, he made another round of visits, attended numerous parties, and handed out another round of gifts.

‘It was gift-giving on the surface, but really, it was just another way to spend money.’

‘Ostensibly, I had perfectly legitimate reasons for it.’

‘Behind the scenes, it served to solidify my friendships.’

‘And practically speaking, I got the cash rewards from the system.’

‘Killing three birds with one stone.’

‘For me, Dubai—whether considering the high-level connections or the economic environment—is truly a promised land.’

For the past two days, there had been no word from Liszt.

However, Lin Chu had already deployed the necessary countermeasures. Since he hadn’t seen any feedback yet, he put it out of his mind for the time being.

Based on his understanding of Liszt, Lin Chu was fairly certain that this incident would be considered a “plus” in the old man’s book.

‘It might sound a bit subservient to put it that way, but it’s the truth.’

‘After all, I figured it out long ago—what he wants is a ‘strongman’ in the absolute sense of the word, strong in every respect.’

‘Old man, when are you going to die?’

‘Just don’t die too soon!’

‘Wait for me!’

‘That asset package of yours is mine!’

…

“You’re jumping from one thing to the next. How did you end up in Dubai?”

On a sunny afternoon, Lin Chu received a call from Bian Gaige. Before he’d “skipped town,” he had told Bian Gaige he’d be in touch and that the bank acquisition should proceed as planned. As soon as Lin Chu had a new number, he sent it to him.

But their efficiency was abysmal; the progress was painfully slow.

Old Bian couldn’t stop complaining about it.

Lin Chu didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

During the two days he was adrift at sea, on their end… the executives and directors of Beisen Bank happened to be on their weekend break. They weren’t working or holding any meetings.

‘How ridiculous.’

‘They have no sense of urgency. Absolutely no hustle… and obviously, they don’t really care.’

Based on the current situation, Old Bian estimated that even if they picked up the pace, it would probably be after the New Year before things were settled.

This call must be about the third round of negotiations. Lin Chu chuckled and asked casually, “How’s it going? Think you’ll make it home for the New Year?”

Bian Gaige let out an exasperated laugh.

“Hard to say… We’ve made it to the board of directors, but they had a huge fight today. A third party got involved, too—the local central bank and regulatory agencies. Each one is a bigger bastard than the last, making all sorts of demands. There’s nothing for it but to push forward steadily.”

“They still want to retain more regulatory authority. The whole reason they were selling this division in the first place was for risk management. They didn’t want it to be regulated, fearing it would drag down their other wealth management businesses.”

“Now that we’re taking over, we still have to face that same regulation, and they’re demanding the highest level of data access.”

“Let me warn you, if any large, untraceable funds come into the accounts, you’ll need to seriously consider the issue of clearing.”

‘Clearing?’

Hearing that word, Lin Chu froze for a second, then slapped his thigh. He had just realized a huge bug in his plan.

‘When I didn’t own a bank, getting money from the system was simple because the other banks handled the clearing.’

‘But now that I’m running a bank myself, I’m the one who has to worry about it.’

So-called clearing is the reconciliation of accounts between a lower-tier bank and the central bank. The amount of money coming in and going out must balance, or at least have a clear, traceable source. In theory, a country’s central bank can print infinite money as long as they don’t worry about inflation. But for a subordinate bank, any anomaly will be discovered immediately.

“Ha, isn’t that something for you guys to worry about? Besides, every single cent I have is clean, hard-earned cash. What’s there to be concerned about? Just buy the bank. What could possibly go wrong?”

Lin Chu said with a straight face, a hint of playfulness in his tone.

‘Right now, I’m basically a professional bug-finder.’

‘My job is to tirelessly and painstakingly find a brand-new path through all these well-established, complex systems.’

‘Even though Old Bian warned me, it’s not a huge problem.’

‘It just means I’ll have to pass the money through a few more hands, using the ‘ants moving house’ method.’

‘A lot of ‘financial innovation’ is basically just that.’

‘When it comes to this stuff, the talent on Wall Street is far more professional. I wonder if Old Liu has managed to recruit anyone yet.’

‘Right now, the simplest method I can think of is to run it through the secondary market first. Use the cash to buy stocks, Gold, Bitcoin, and all sorts of valuable assets. Then I can sell them, maybe flip them a few times, run the proceeds through various other channels, and finally deposit it back into my own bank. It’ll be as clean as it gets.’

Hearing Lin Chu’s confident and resolute tone, Bian Gaige didn’t press the issue. “Alright, as long as you know what you’re doing. Don’t worry about my end for now. I’ll keep pushing them. Got to go, the meeting isn’t over yet. Hanging up.”

After hanging up, Lin Chu stood up, dove headfirst into the swimming pool, and started splashing around happily.

‘After all this, in the end, it all comes back to finance.’

‘And frankly, the old financial order, as far as I can see, is in even worse shape than my love life. It’s just a pure race to the bottom…’

‘So if I add a little fuel to the fire… it probably won’t be a problem.’

“Brother Chu!”

“Brother Chu, two people are here from China. They say they’re your friends and are looking for you. They’re at the training base right now. One is named You Shaoqiang. Should you see them?”

Liu Chenhui came running in, stood by the edge of the pool, and shouted.

Lin Chu broke the surface and wiped the water from his face. “Have him come over. Tell him I’m treating him to dinner!”

‘Heh, this guy really knows how to pick his moments.’
