Super Tycoon: I Beg You, Stop Pulling Stunts

After finishing the call with his dad, Lin Chu could feel his father’s heartache and helplessness, and he felt a little guilty himself. But he just shook his head with a smile and immediately buried those feelings deep down.

To this day, there were truly few affections left that could move him.

The three great human affections: familial love, romantic love, and friendship.

Romantic love, he had desecrated it beyond recognition.

Friendship, thankfully, was still robust and abundant.

As for familial love, only the bond with his father remained. Of course, he’d likely experience it in a new way once he had children of his own.

In truth, that was already more than enough. There was no need to ask for more.

Reaching the summit, you can indeed look down on all the other peaks, but you must also know it’s cold at the top.

He returned to the bedroom.

An Yunzhi was at her desk in her pajamas, focused on the computer screen, her keyboard clacking away. Hearing someone enter, she glanced back and smiled. “I’m writing in my diary. Give me a second.”

Tsk.

‘A woman who keeps a diary.’

“Do you write every day?”

Lin Chu asked casually with a smile.

“Not every day. Maybe three or four entries a week…”

Hearing his teasing, half-joking tone, An Yunzhi didn’t seem to mind. She just smiled without replying and continued to type, letting Lin Chu stand behind her and watch.

The screen was filled with dense text. Lin Chu rested a hand on her shoulder, and after reading a few lines, he found himself drawn in.

She was writing about her personal reflections.

Looking past the flowery, introductory phrases, Lin Chu soon got to the main point.

“In 1974, Zhou told Old Geng, ‘I’ll give you three pieces of advice. First, don’t let yourself fall. Second, if they try to drive you out, no matter what they do, don’t you leave. Third, don’t you die.’”

Huh?

Lin Chu looked at her, momentarily surprised. He hadn’t expected her to be writing about things like that.

‘But it was probably a reflection of her state of mind.’

‘After all, to be fair, her situation right now is pretty miserable. Even though I think she brought it all on herself, from a purely human standpoint, a person still has to live. They still have to keep moving forward.’

‘Giving yourself a pep talk now and then is a good thing.’

“You’re not writing this for me, are you?”

Lin Chu leaned down, getting flirtatiously close to her ear. He blew a soft breath of air and said with a smile,

An Yunzhi shivered at the ticklish sensation. A visible blush spread across her long, pale neck and delicate earlobes.

“Yes, I was actually planning to share it with you…”

She stopped typing, turned around, and looked at Lin Chu seriously. “I realize now that I was shallow before. I had the wrong impression of you. Of course, there’s no need for an apology—that would be too dramatic… But now, honestly, I really admire you.”

“Why not apologize? Go on. It doesn’t have to be a big deal. Just getting on your knees and kowtowing once will do.”

Lin Chu said jokingly, finding the situation rather amusing. ‘It’s a shame the virtual panel doesn’t show an affection meter for women,’ he thought. ‘Otherwise, I’d probably be watching the number skyrocket right now.’

‘Admiration… That’s some high praise.’

An Yunzhi shot him a playful glare. “I’ve never knelt for you… You jerk. Don’t you dare humiliate me. I was just looking you up online and I realized something: not a single one of your employees has a bad word to say about you. The entire internet is talking about your ‘god-tier company’ and ‘god-tier boss.’ Great benefits, great pay, a strict nine-to-five schedule with absolutely no overtime, and the company even provides housing.”

“Also, about what’s happening overseas… even though your methods are reckless and haven’t yielded any results yet, when I tried to trace your thought process, I found it pretty incredible.”

“This goes beyond the vision of a mere businessman.”

Lin Chu was left speechless.

‘That flattery feels pretty damn good.’

‘Her EQ was undeniably high.’

He had once thought her cold and sharp-tongued, but perhaps she simply hadn’t deemed him worthy of her emotional intelligence. A subtle sense of conquest immediately welled up inside him.

‘Of course, that’s mainly because I’ve handled my business so well.’

Although his love life was a complete disaster, Lin Chu could say with a clear conscience that when it came to his company, his brothers, and his employees, he was absolutely flawless.

“Go on… keep the praise coming. I love to hear it.”

An Yunzhi couldn’t help but smile, feeling both amused and exasperated.

“I’ll save the rest of my compliments for later; I haven’t finished my research yet. It’s just that your flaws are as obvious as your strengths.”

“Of course, for a successful man, those aren’t exactly fatal flaws. I’m a firm believer in judging a person by their results.”

“I have a question. What’s your plan now?”

She asked with great interest, partly as a mental exercise. After all, this concerned her too, and they were at a critical juncture.

“What else is there to do but go for it? We’ll just charge straight ahead, slicing through them like melons and vegetables. If a god stands in my way, I’ll kill the god. If a Buddha stands in my way, I’ll kill the Buddha.”

Lin Chu had no intention of getting into specifics with her. He’d already explained a lot before, and he’d talked too much today. Right now, he just wanted to relax.

“That’s too vague.”

“Can you be more specific?”

An Yunzhi pressed.

Lin Chu bent down and swept her up into his arms. “We can talk during my post-nut clarity.”

An Yunzhi was speechless.

‘Shameless!’

‘Pervert!’

‘How can you switch modes so smoothly and naturally?’

…

An Yunzhi would soon find out exactly what Lin Chu planned to do. And she would be there to witness the whole thing.

「The next day.」

Lin Chu “inspected” the employees from the Security Group, both on the island and at the small training base in Dubai.

More than two thousand people—enough to fill a soccer field. The sight alone was truly magnificent.
