Reborn As Super Heiress

Huo Sining had already seen through it: these so?called security guards weren’t proper company employees at all, just a bunch of sleazy punks. The way they stood and their frivolous expressions told her none of them were any good.

But these guys had clearly crossed Huo Sining’s bottom line. From what they were saying between the lines, they’d basically preyed on all the women in the village, not even sparing widows and underage girls.

That made Huo Sining furious, and now these thugs were even turning their attention to her and Wu Ya. Those naked, filthy, lustful eyes swept over Huo Sining like they were about to pounce on her and rip her clothes off at any moment. That look made her extremely uncomfortable.

Still, Huo Sining really didn’t take these punks seriously. The urgent thing right now was to figure out what was going on with this tea garden, then find the graves of the two elders of the Wu Family, not to waste time butting heads with these bottom?of?society types. So she hadn’t planned on responding to them at all.

However, Huo Sining had obviously underestimated just how rotten these thugs were. Maybe because he thought Huo Sining and Wu Ya were pretty and delicate, that security captain had already started having thoughts he shouldn’t. He was saying that as long as Wu Jun paid up and kneeled to apologize they’d let him go, but in his heart he already had a different plan.

He’d decided that even if Wu Jun paid and kneeled, he still wouldn’t let the kid off. When the time came he’d just cripple him, then snatch this pair of sisters and take them away. This was Brother De’s turf, after all; he wasn’t afraid this brat would come make trouble.

Thinking like that, the security captain had already taken Huo Sining and Wu Ya as his own property. Right then he started getting handsy, reaching out a paw like An Lushan’s Claw, actually trying to touch Huo Sining’s face.

Huo Sining’s reactions were razor?sharp. She slipped aside in a flash to dodge that hairy hand, but her expression had gone completely dark.

On the other side, Wu Jun had already gotten angry the moment he heard that security captain say he had to kneel and apologize. Now seeing the captain so suicidal that he actually tried to violate Huo Sining, how could he possibly hold back?

He lunged forward in one quick stride. Everyone only saw a dark blur flash past, then heard two crisp slapping sounds. When they came back to their senses, that arrogant security captain from just moments ago now had a face swollen like a pig’s head, with blood seeping from the corner of his mouth.

Obviously, he’d just been slapped silly by that kid who picked tea leaves.

And those two sounds had been extremely sharp and loud; you could tell he hadn’t held back. Just from the sound you knew that security captain had taken a serious loss.

Seeing this sudden turn of events, everyone around was stunned, and even the security captain himself couldn’t quite process what had just happened.

Wu Jun’s expression didn’t change at all. He kept staring coldly at that security captain:

”Those two slaps—one for your filthy mouth, the other for your filthy hands. Here’s a warning: these two women are way out of your league.”

Being slapped twice in front of everyone by Wu Jun, the security captain had completely lost face. Hearing Wu Jun lecture him like that made him even more furious and humiliated; his face flushed bright red, his eyes practically spitting fire. He glared venomously at Wu Jun, his swollen mouth mumbling as he shouted angrily at the thugs beside him:

”You all dead or what? Didn’t you see me get hit? What the hell are you standing around for—get in there! Beat him to death, I’ll take the blame! Cripple this little shit, and I’ll reward you big time later!”

Hearing that, the thugs’ eyes lit up and they suddenly got excited. They stopped hesitating, each grabbing whatever they could as a weapon and charging straight at Wu Jun.

Wu Jun’s face showed no fear; his eyes narrowed slightly and he strode straight forward to meet them.

He might have left Falcon years ago, but he’d never stopped training his legs and hands. On top of that, with Huo Sining’s Spiritual Energy supporting him, his body was actually in better shape than back in the Falcon days, so his skills were even more agile now.

As a bona fide Soldier King, dealing with a few street punks was naturally child’s play. In just a few moves, all those ”security guards” who’d rushed him were knocked flat by Wu Jun.

A whole bunch of thugs lay sprawled in embarrassment on the dirt ridges of the tea garden, some clutching their eyes, some holding their legs, all of them groaning in pain. As for combat strength, they obviously had none left.

Faced with this outcome, the security captain was of course dumbfounded. The look in his eyes toward Wu Jun now carried clear fear; even his legs were trembling. With his swollen pig?head face, he stammered:

”D... Don’t come over here... Wh?Which crew are you with, anyway? I’m warning you, you won’t get off easy for hitting us. You’ve pissed off Brother De—think you can just run? So what if you can fight? Around here, Brother De’s word is law. He’s got over a hundred men under him—think you can get away?”

Wu Jun looked at the security captain coldly:

”Since this Brother De is so impressive, then call him over. I happen to have some questions for him. Relax, I’m not running. I’ll wait right here for him to show up.”

The security captain clearly hadn’t expected Wu Jun to be this calm, not even flinching at Brother De’s name.

But he just assumed the kid didn’t know how much pull Brother De had. He sneered inwardly, a vicious, gloomy light in his eyes, pointed at Wu Jun and said threateningly:

”Fine. If you’ve got guts, wait right here. I’ll get Brother De over here right away. I want to see how you think you’re getting out of this today!”

After spitting out his harsh words, the security captain bent down and muttered to those thugs lying on the ground:

”Watch this kid. If he dares run, you follow him, don’t let him get away!”

Saying that, the security captain ran down the mountain while pulling out his phone to call that Brother De.

With their captain’s orders, those thugs naturally didn’t dare talk back. They could only slowly haul themselves up from the ground, their eyes locked tightly onto Wu Jun and the three of them, terrified that they might actually run.

Given Wu Jun’s skills, they obviously didn’t dare get close. They’d already paid for it once; they weren’t stupid enough to go up and provoke him again.

And even if Wu Jun really did try to run, with their pathetic combat power they certainly wouldn’t be able to stop him.

But the captain had told them to keep this guy under watch, so they couldn’t just keep lying there doing nothing. Even though their bodies were aching all over, they had to grit their teeth and endure it, eyes glued to Wu Jun. The moment he so much as twitched, they were ready to report it immediately.
