Reborn As Super Heiress

In the Imperial Capital, with nothing much to do, Huo Sining would occasionally ask Yingzi to drive her to Jubao Pavilion or the Guan Yu Beauty Shop at Wangfujing for a look.

The Fragrance Beauty and Red Umbrella Beauty have now also settled in the Imperial Capital and combined forces with the Guan Yu Beauty branch there, forming a large group.

For this reason, Huo Sining specifically bought a piece of land from Song Hui and Gu Xu to build a group headquarters building.

This land is near Wangfujing, not very large, but not cheap either. However, when she bought the land, Huo Sining hadn’t started doing charity yet and had quite a lot of spare cash, so after she set her eyes on this land, she bought it without hesitation.

After leaving Jubao Pavilion, Huo Sining had Yingzi drive her to Wangfujing. Passing the newly constructed group building, Huo Sining suddenly remembered this building was her property, yet she didn’t even notice when it was built.

In fact, this building had been fully constructed by the end of last year, and the interior decoration was also complete. They only needed to wait a few more months to let the renovation smell dissipate before moving in.

However, because the Beauty Group is now managed by Wu Jun, Huo Sining became the hands-off boss, not even knowing how many employees are in her group.

But the design plan for this building was approved with her signature, so she knew how many floors there were. Even though the land she bought isn’t big, a sixty-story group building is definitely sufficient.

Huo Sining had Yingzi park the car outside the building, and she walked around its periphery. Seeing that the greenery and various facilities were quite complete, she nodded contentedly.

Although the building hasn’t been occupied yet, there were already security guards standing at the entrance. Upon seeing Huo Sining, the guard, not recognizing this as the group’s big BOSS, bluntly told her off:

”Young lady, you can’t just waltz in here. This building hasn’t been put to use. If you’re here for a job application, you’ll have to wait until the company moves in!”

Job application? Huo Sining found it both amusing and exasperating.

But seeing how responsible the security guard was, even knowing to advertise for the company, Huo Sining couldn’t help but press her lips together, a hint of amusement flashing in her eyes.

Over there, Yingzi was afraid that on a whim, Huo Sining would decide to go inside the building to look around, so she quickly whispered:

”Miss, the building has just been renovated, and the toxic fumes inside haven’t dispersed yet. We shouldn’t stay here long; it’s not good for your pregnancy.”

Huo Sining hadn’t planned on going in anyway. She gave the security guard another glance, then turned around to leave. Yingzi hastily followed in her footsteps.

They drove to the other side of Wangfujing, getting stuck in traffic for almost half an hour before arriving at the Guan Yu Beauty Shop owned by Huo Sining.

This shop was personally opened by Huo Sining. Although it didn’t quite match up to the personal touch of Bai Yishan in the Magic Capital, Huo Sining did put a lot of effort into it.

Now, Guan Yu Beauty and XiangNai Company have formed a partnership, complementing each other. XiangNai Company obtains a large amount of balsam from Fragrance Beauty, while Guan Yu Beauty uses XiangNai’s reputation to promote its market.

This plan has achieved great results. At least now Guan Yu Beauty has opened up its market. Not only domestically, but even foreign jade enthusiasts have come to know this new noble in the jade world, with some people even coming from other provinces or abroad to visit.

The amount of effort Huo Sining put into this shop is tremendous; whenever she cuts into a good piece of jadeite, she thinks of her shop first. The jadeite jewelry in her shop is not only authentic but also of absolute quality, which is what keeps returning customers loyal to her.

One could say, looking across Huaxia, there’s no shop with more complete variety or higher quality than hers.

If customers wish for customized, high-quality jadeite jewelry, as long as they leave a deposit, Guan Yu Beauty will certainly meet their demands, even if the requests are extremely peculiar and demanding. With Huo Sining around, there’s no fear of not finding the right jadeite.

Precisely because of this confidence, Huo Sining believes, that her shop’s business wouldn’t possibly go bad.

However, this time when she entered the shop, she found something very wrong. The employees were lethargically lounging against the glass counter playing with their phones, even the store manager, Lin Wenya, was dozing off. Besides that, there wasn’t a single customer in sight, the place was eerily quiet.

Seeing this, Huo Sining was immediately taken aback. She couldn’t understand it; had the domestic jadeite market really become this sluggish? Hadn’t it just been the start of the year? It should have been a period of market recovery, which was quite puzzling.

Over there, Lin Wenya and the other employees were goofing off when suddenly, one of them noticed Huo Sining and Yingzi enter and quickly stood up straight, putting on a smiling face, warmly asking:

”Hello, what kind of jadeite would you like to see? Do you need me to introduce something?”

The shop assistant’s voice was clear, immediately jolting awake Lin Wenya and the other employees who were dozing or on their phones. They quickly straightened themselves, putting on serious expressions, and Lin Wenya hastily opened her eyes to see what was happening.

To her surprise, she saw Huo Sining coming into the shop with a big belly, and Lin Wenya was instantly startled, quickly getting up to welcome her:

”Boss, you... how do you have time to come by today?”

Lin Wenya had heard from Li Quan about Huo Sining’s pregnancy and rest, but seeing her now with such a prominent belly was still surprising.

Wasn’t it only supposed to be five months? How was her belly this big already; could it be twins?

The other employees, hearing the shop manager call the pregnant woman in front of them ’boss,’ were also quite amazed and turned their gazes toward Huo Sining.

Over the past year, Huo Sining had indeed rarely visited the shop. The staff here were newly trained, with many of the old employees having been transferred to the group, so they hadn’t seen Huo Sining before.

They had always heard from the manager that their shop owner was the famous celebrity, Huo Sining.

But the image of Huo Sining on television was vastly different from her current pregnant appearance, so the employees didn’t associate her with the famous star.

Huo Sining wasn’t really concerned with how the employees viewed her. She turned to Lin Wenya with a smile, saying:

”Wu Jun told me you didn’t want to go to headquarters, only wanted to stay here as a manager. With your ability, it’s truly underutilized.”
