Reborn As Super Heiress

However, Huo Sining’s terms clearly caused dissatisfaction among the other elders. Upon hearing Huo Sining mention a thirty percent share, one of the elders couldn’t help but snicker, looking disdainfully at Huo Sining:

”Thirty percent? You certainly have a big ambition. I wonder if Miss Huo can swallow such a large piece of the pie?”

Huo Sining looked at the speaking elder and smiled: ”Why wouldn’t I be able to swallow it? The main sales market for jadeite is within Huaxia Country. I take thirty percent, that shouldn’t make the jadeite raw stone market in Huaxia Country saturated, right? Moreover, I didn’t say I was taking thirty percent of the raw stones, is thirty percent of the profits not feasible? Of course, if your Bada Family is willing to let me have thirty percent of the raw stone mines, I wouldn’t be opposed to that either.”

”Absurd! You’re simply being arrogant and delusional!”

The elder was infuriated by Huo Sining’s words, and he slammed the table and began to erupt at Huo Sining.

Not to mention thirty percent of the shares, he didn’t even agree to give ten percent, and he didn’t believe that such a young woman like Huo Sining had the capability to gamble for a jade mine.

Despite being rebuked like this, Huo Sining was not annoyed. Instead, she smiled and said: ”How does the old gentleman know that what I say is absurd? There are all kinds of people in the world, aren’t you afraid of regretting such a hasty decision in the future? Of course, I must admit one thing, your Chinese is really quite good, especially your use of idioms!”

Huo Sining’s words seemed casual, but were full of sarcasm, leaving the elder momentarily speechless, awkwardly stuck in front of the meeting table.

The negotiations hadn’t started yet, and the atmosphere was already tense. General Barton was also somewhat displeased, glaring at the elder, and only then did he smile and play the mediator:

”Miss Huo, it’s not that we disagree with the thirty percent share. If Miss Huo can indeed gamble to obtain a medium-sized jade mine, not to mention thirty percent, even forty or fifty percent would be fine.”

”However, gambling on a mine is not the same as gambling on raw stones. You don’t need me to tell you about the current situation; right now it’s all about racing against time. The sooner a jade mine is discovered, the more likely we are to win. If Miss Huo has no confidence, and we rashly agree to your terms, yet you take too long to get a jade mine, then what should we do? Our Bada Family cannot afford such a large loss.”

Hearing this from Badasang’s father, Huo Sining couldn’t help but laugh, countering:

”General Bada, I believe even if Jade King Ma Changsheng were standing here, he wouldn’t be able to guarantee a hundred percent success in gambling on jade mines, right? Besides, my terms aren’t too harsh, are they? If the Bada Family doesn’t agree, I can also find partners in other families. I agreed to the Bada Family’s invitation because I believe General Bada is a man of vision who wouldn’t let the Bada Family end over a little immediate gain.”

Huo Sining smiled at General Bada, knowing very well that this old fox might not be opposed to her terms; It’s just that although he is the patriarch, he cannot act unilaterally with seven or eight elders watching him. Those elders have differing opinions, so this old fox brought her in to shift this troublesome issue onto her.

”Immediate gain? A thirty percent share in a medium-sized jade mine is immediate gain, you’re really arrogant!”

It was still that elder who seemed to find Huo Sining extremely irritating and was determined to prevent her cooperation with the Bada Family.

Huo Sining glanced at the elder, then retorted in annoyance: ”Otherwise, what do you want? Do you want me to give you a jade mine for free?”

The elder was rendered speechless by Huo Sining, who pressed on:

”If the Bada Family isn’t willing to take on the risk, that’s fine! I’ll gamble on the mine myself, and I’ll cover the costs of mining, then it has nothing to do with your Bada Family. Your family only needs to maintain the security of the mining area, and whether or not I find a mine, I will pay your family a billion as a security fee, how about that?”

The elder was so upset by Huo Sining that his face turned green. A billion in security fees? Did this woman take their family as a security company? If I really could find a jade mine, what’s a billion? Just a drop in the bucket?

Huo Sining smiled mockingly: ”I suppose you’ve suffered some losses from those empty mines you gambled on before, haven’t you? Gambling on mines and stones are alike, both carry huge risks. Do you want to earn money without taking risks? Is there such a cheap thing in this world?”

”General Bada, it wasn’t me who initiated this, it was you who sought cooperation with me. I hope you understand, a thirty percent share in a medium-sized jade mine is really nothing. The rise and fall of the Bada Family are irrelevant to me, but if I wish, I can still sell the mined jade mine at a high price to the Zhaton Family or other families. The consequences of that, I believe, I need not state explicitly for you to understand, right?”

With these words, Huo Sining finally made the issue clear, and the elders’ complexions changed dramatically upon hearing it, casting angry but silent glances at Huo Sining.

They were very aware that thirty percent of the shares was indeed nothing. It was because Huo Sining was a young woman that they tried to intimidate her into joining forces.

Unfortunately, Huo Sining was not dumb; she’s a Huaxia person, not under the Bada Family’s jurisdiction, why should she fear the Myanmarese?

Huo Sining, like a queen, gazed disdainfully at the old men, her strong stance not yielding to authority. How could these old men suppress her?

What Huo Sining said was indeed the truth. In such a critical moment, if these so-called elders still don’t understand the importance of assessing the situation and balancing the pros and cons, she had no reason to cooperate with such a family.

If she could indeed gamble on a medium-sized jade mine, even selling it outright would earn Huo Sining billions in commission, and her choice to collaborate with the Bada Family was merely a long-term strategy.

Because Huo Sining understood very well that with Liu Chongren’s relations with the Zhaton Family, if the Bada Family declined, the Zhaton Family might dominate alone, and if the Liu Family controlled the Huaxia domestic jadeite raw stone supply, considering her disputes with the Liu Family, Liu Chongren could likely disrupt her supply chain. For Huo Sining and her Jade Beauty, it would be a disaster, so to prevent a crisis, Huo Sining had no choice but to use this strategy.

At first, the elders were whispering among themselves. Gradually, their voices grew louder and faster, ultimately becoming sharp debates with fierce arguments.
