Reborn As Super Heiress

Standing in the center of the venue, looking around, the entire venue is filled with tens of thousands of rough stones. It really isn’t a small task to view all these rough stones in the three days of the opening period.

Huo Sining can only do her best to look at those stones and select as many as possible.

After all, this is the Jade Public Plate. Even if she is certain about those stones, only a small portion can win the bid because there are too many people participating in the bidding. Even gathering the strength of their group of seven, it is still limited.

Next to those dark bids, there is a small red bid box. The bid box is sealed, and you can only see the small opening at the top.

If you fancy a certain stone, you can directly drop the filled-out bid sheet into these red bid boxes.

Due to her previous experiences, Huo Sining is full of caution towards Liu Yuxuan. So this time, she uses her old method: first look at the stones, then jot down the details of each rough stone in a way only she can understand. She plans to analyze the specific details once she returns to the hotel and, after careful consideration, fill out the bid sheet.

Whether it was Huo Sining’s standards being too high or just bad luck, this time, after looking through dozens of dark bids, she didn’t find a stone that made her heart race.

Feeling a bit frustrated, Huo Sining intended to go back to the Bright Bid Area to see if her luck would change. As she turned, she saw a stone that made her extremely excited.

It was an old spot stone, with a gray-white surface and fine sandy texture. The window was opened from a Python Band area. Though it was just a thin line opened, there were gathered pinpoints on the surrounding surface.

A faint green color was cut from the line of that opened window.

From the appearance of the stone, it could be seen that this stone should be from Old Pagang.

Moreover, the person who opened this window was very clever. He clearly grasped the essence of ”It’s better to buy a thread rather than a slice.” The treatment of this rough stone was very precise, almost cutting along the densest part of the Python Band, but without ruining the pattern on the surface.

So, although the entire rough stone seemed very complete, due to that line, this rough stone was categorized as a semi-gambling rough stone.

The green exposed from the cut window had plenty of water content, and from the cut, it should undoubtedly be High Ice Type Jadeite.

Although the green revealed was not intensely vivid, such a fresh green, once processed into jewelry, is extremely refreshing and is very popular among young women.

Huo Sining placed her right palm on that vivid green rough stone and used the Heavenly Eye. The gray-white surface of the rough stone quickly faded away under her eyes, and from the open window, she directly perceived into the interior of the stone.

At a glance, indeed, the inside of the stone was crystal clear and smooth, with a lush green color like willow branches freshly budding in spring, giving a pleasing view.

Huo Sining was feeling delighted, but the next second, the smile in her eyes froze.

The green did not penetrate deep, and after a thin layer of fresh green, a large area of white-gray card stone came into view.

After a complete scan of the rough stone, there was only that thin layer of green, less than half a centimeter thick, only enough to create a few ring faces.

Seeing the situation inside this rough stone, Huo Sining was momentarily stunned, and couldn’t help but silently curse—it was a beautifully performing rough stone, yet a damned skin-green!

Such a deceptive rough stone, all show and no substance!

If not for Huo Sining’s ability to see through, she would definitely have been fooled by that opened window. The person handling this rough stone was indeed a master!

The fresh green of that window seemed to be mocking her with a grin.

Huo Sining’s mouth twitched, her forehead lined with frustration, wondering if she hadn’t checked the calendar before heading out today. How else could she have looked at so many rough stones and failed to find even one good one?

Huo Sining looked up at the sky, feeling quite indignant.

The dark bids aren’t urgent to review; after all, the deadline for bidding is in two days. So Huo Sining might as well turn towards the mass of bright bids.

Bright bids are different from dark bids. As soon as you fancy one, you can call out a price to the stone’s owner. If the owner believes the price is suitable, both parties can agree and proceed with the transaction.

Right after Huo Sining left, a person who had been tailing her from a distance immediately took out a phone and called Liu Yuxuan:

”Miss, that woman with the surname Huo stood in front of a window-opened semi-gambling rough stone for a full five or six minutes. Would you like to come and take a look at this stone?”

Liu Yuxuan’s lips curved slightly: ”Tell me the bid number of that rough stone, and I’ll come over later.”

The variety of stones in the bright bid section was indeed uneven, with both old and new spots available. However, with so many stones, even though they are varied, one can always find suitable ones.

After wandering through the fifty meters of the venue, Huo Sining picked out two stones. The performance of the rough stones wasn’t very good, but inside were high-quality jadeites.

One was egg white blue water, and the other was ice-type apple green. There wasn’t much jade inside, but it had a good texture, and the prices weren’t high, making it a lucky start. So Huo Sining bought them without hesitation.

As soon as Huo Sining bought the rough stones, Badasang’s personal guard, Kuba, had already helped her move those two stones and continued to follow her.

This warrior, after Badasang left, had been following Huo Sining and her group, saying little, but was extremely dutiful.

Huo Sining felt a bit guilty, wanting to ask this young warrior to help send the rough stones to the Yangon Public Plate’s cargo storage for safekeeping. However, Kuba stubbornly refused to leave.

Feeling a bit helpless, Huo Sining continued to stroll forward.

Su Qingqing didn’t understand stone gambling, but she loved the excitement. Wherever there was something interesting happening, she squeezed over.

Seeing a crowd gathered not far ahead, seemingly discussing a rough stone, she became interested, grabbed Huo Sining, and ran forward.

Once in the crowd, Huo Sining learned that a stone dealer was selling bright bids that weren’t just single pieces of rough stones, but selling a piece of rough stone with a bunch of add-ons under the name ”package sale”.

Huo Sining didn’t dislike add-ons and even faked ignorance several times in rough stone shops just to haggle for an add-on from the shopkeeper.

However, as sellers, few are willing to include add-ons.

Because before a rough stone is cut open, no one can determine if it can reveal jadeite inside, as even an inconspicuous add-on might contain priceless jade.

If the add-on was given away for free and then revealed high value when cut, the seller might be furious enough to want to vomit blood.

However, unlike the domestic sales situation, ”package sales” are a characteristic way the Myanmar Government handles jadeite rough stones.

Many bids in the Myanmar public plate are essentially stones with slightly better surfaces marked at high prices, then bundled with a bunch of useless stones, forcing you to take them.

Of course, it’s easy to guess with your toes that stones given as add-ons likely have very little chance of producing jadeite, really just a tasteless chicken rib, hard to gnaw but a pity to discard.
