Urban Martial Saint

Watching the grey-clothed elder leave, these two Peak Masters also disembarked from their vehicle, ready to follow Old Wang Ba. As they stepped out, they exchanged glances, being contemporaries, they naturally recognized each other. At first glance, both were inwardly awed, amazed that the other was still alive. However, since they were evenly matched in strength, neither showed any signs of retreat.

Both proceeded forward, but when they reached the front of the car, one suddenly exclaimed. The other turned to look, puzzled at first, but upon seeing the front of that car, his face also changed color, and he involuntarily exclaimed as well.

On the hood of the car was a deeply sunken palm seal, as if carved into the surface, about two inches deep. And this palm seal was completely different from a regular palm seal, because the hand actually bore six finger imprints. Meaning, the owner of this palm had six fingers.

The second person saw this palm seal and immediately turned to look at his own car, and saw the same palm seal on his own car hood. He immediately turned to look at the first person, both of their eyes filled with astonishment and shock.

After a long silence, the first person said in a low voice, ”Six-fingered palm seal, is he Du Canglang?”

”In all the world, who else could have such power and six fingers?” replied the second person in a deep voice, his face rather grim.

”I never thought the Buddha’s Relic would lure this person out!” the first person said in a deep voice, ”Back then, he and Fu Qingping were evenly matched, neither could best the other. Now he’s following Old Wang Ba, it seems even if we follow, we’ll gain nothing from it!”

The second person nodded slowly, looking at the six-fingered palm seal on the hood, he said deeply, ”He left this palm seal as a warning to us not to follow. That six-fingered Du Canglang is just as domineering as before!”

The first person said nothing, he turned to watch Du Canglang walk far ahead at the airport entrance, sighed slowly, but did not pursue further. Du Canglang is indeed domineering, but he has the power to back it up. He knows clearly if they ignore the six-fingered palm seal warning and insist on following, that palm seal could end up on them.

”Forget it, forget it!” the first person sighed deeply, turned and said, ”I guess I have no chance for the Buddha’s Relic. Better to stay in Shenchuan City and wait for a chance to seize the Heaven Earth Man Three Gates key!”

The second person shared the same thought, seeing the other turn to leave, he also did not linger, turning away to leave together.

With just a palm seal, the six-fingered Du Canglang frightened off two hidden Peak Masters, showing the extent of his power. But what does Old Wang Ba mean by bringing them out?

Due to the covert sentries outside the Huang Family, for safety, Ye Qing drove to a mountainside outside the Huang Family before stopping. The three abandoned the car, proceeding on foot along the mountain path.

There was actually no real path on the mountain, Yang Tianyun just pointed out the direction of the Huang Family Manor, then they walked in that direction. As long as the direction was correct, they would ultimately find the Huang Family Manor.

Without his Inner Strength, Ye Qing was not as agile in walking on the mountain as before. However, Ye Qing did not pause, urging Yang Tianyun all the way uphill towards the Huang Family Manor.

Fu Qingping’s skill was formidable, walking on this mountain path was as easy as walking on flat ground. Yang Tianyun had not initially paid much attention to this plain-looking elder, but now seeing his graceful walk on the mountain path, he understood the elder’s strength was certainly not weak. Although Yang Tianyun wasn’t skilled himself, he had an eye for talent.

An almost ten-mile mountain path took the three of them more than two hours to traverse.

The Huang Family Manor was built in the middle of the mountainside, the front was a large platform where more than a dozen cars were parked, quite surprising compared to the Shen Family Manor. The Huang Family Manor appeared rustic, yet had numerous modern facilities, indicating the residents liked comfort, no wonder they failed at mastering martial arts.

When Ye Qing visited the Northern Li Family, he witnessed a similar situation to the Huang Family. No wonder the Li and Huang Family’s power was inferior to the Shen Family, the facilities already showed this. The Shen Family’s wealth and resources were certainly not lacking compared to the Li and Huang Families, yet the Shen Family lived a simple life, rarely indulging, focusing on martial arts, naturally making them stronger than other families.

Ye Qing kept Yang Tianyun, hiding behind a large rock near the manor, from here he could clearly see the manor. It was approaching noon, many people were busy inside and outside the manor, constantly coming and going.

The manor covered a large area, rivalling the Wan Yan Manor. Its terrain was complicated, though Ye Qing had asked about the guard situation en route, he didn’t dare enter recklessly. After all, there were Peak Masters guarding the manor, even with Fu Qingping’s help, Ye Qing couldn’t be careless. Unless Ye Jun and the others were found and their safety secured, Fu Qingping defeating the Peak Masters would be meaningless.

Ye Qing pulled Yang Tianyun over, asked in a deep voice, ”Which building does Huang Linhao live in?”

”That... over there...” Yang Tianyun pointed to a building said quietly, ”That building used to be Huang Yidao’s son Huang Linxuan’s, after Huang Yidao died, he was driven out, now Huang Linhao lives there.”

Ye Qing looked at the building, finding it quite luxurious within the manor, likely reserved for crucial family members. Huang Linhao living there seemed normal enough.

”Master...” Ye Qing turned to Fu Qingping beside him, spoke low, ”Tonight, I’m afraid I’ll trouble you again!”

”No problem!” Fu Qingping looked at the Huang Family Manor ahead, smiled slightly, said, ”If my guess is correct, that old fellow from the Huang Family should be Huang Yunfeng.”

Yang Tianyun stared at Fu Qingping in shock, said, ”How... how do you know the ancestor’s name?”

”Humph.” Fu Qingping glanced at Yang Tianyun, said, ”I fought him three times back in the day, each time defeating him. This Huang Family Manor, back then I single-handedly entered and exited it, no one could stop me, what would I not know?”

Yang Tianyun widened his eyes, he had no idea who Fu Qingping was. But seeing Fu Qingping’s expression, he knew Fu Qingping’s words weren’t boasting. Just how strong was this person, to move freely inside the manor? He had seen the ancestor Huang Yunfeng’s prowess, how could someone be stronger than him in this world?

Yang Tianyun was simply inexperienced, unaware of the varying levels among Peak Masters. Fu Qingping was now among the peak of Peak Masters, a step from surpassing this realm, reaching above the peak. Ordinary Peak Masters were certainly no match for Fu Qingping.

Fu Qingping’s words excited Ye Qing enormously, Fu Qingping’s unparalleled skill assured Huang Yunfeng’s defeat. Thus, rescuing people tonight wouldn’t be difficult. The only uncertainty was about the person partnered with the Huang Family, who seemed to know Ye Qing well, making him cautious and alert.

The three hid behind a rock the entire afternoon, their lunch was just dry rations. Fortunately, Ye Qing and Fu Qingping weren’t indulgent individuals, waiting wasn’t bothersome. Yang Tianyun, however, suffered in his thin clothes, shivering in the cold mountain wind. Worrying about the Huang Family potentially killing him, he was rendered unable to eat, constantly wanting to ask Ye Qing when he’d be released, but dared not speak for fear of falling victim to Acupoint Pressing again. Sitting idly by, watching Ye Qing and the Huang Family Manor, his heart was filled with gloom. If he failed to escape, wouldn’t tonight cost him his life?

By nine o’clock, the manor was less bustling. Most people had returned to their rooms, only patrolmen wandered the manor. Along with the night’s darkness, it was the perfect moment to sneak into the manor.

Fu Qingping spent most of the day meditating, while Ye Qing observed the manor, devising several plans. As the opportunity arrived, he turned to seek Fu Qingping’s help, only to find him still with eyes closed. Ye Qing hesitated momentarily, unsure whether to awaken him.

”Is it time?” As Ye Qing hesitated, Fu Qingping suddenly opened his eyes. He wasn’t asleep, just meditating, even without opening his eyes, he was fully aware of Ye Qing’s movements.

”Master, we need your help,” Ye Qing replied.

”No problem!” Fu Qingping nodded, stood up and reached for Yang Tianyun.

”What are you doing?” Yang Tianyun immediately protested, ”Didn’t you say you’d let me go?”

”Of course,” said Fu Qingping, ”Once we safely rescue the people, you’ll be released. For now, accompany us briefly!”

Without waiting for Yang Tianyun’s consent, Fu Qingping seized his jaw, giving it a twist, dislocating it. Thus, even if Yang Tianyun wanted to shout, it was impossible, Fu Qingping considered this thoroughly. Otherwise, if Yang Tianyun suddenly shouted in the manor, wouldn’t all efforts be wasted?
