Urban Martial Saint

Ye Qing lifted Yang Tianyun and let him sit on the sofa. Yang Tianyun took a few deep breaths before saying softly, ”Your... your three friends were indeed... taken by the Huang Family. However, where they are now, I... I really don’t know!”

”Then what do you know? How did the Huang Family know who my brother is?” Ye Qing asked in a deep voice. In fact, he was very confused about this matter too. Not many knew about his brother Ye Jun’s situation. Moreover, he only sent Black Bear to find Ye Jun precisely to keep this information from leaking out. After all, Ye Qing had many enemies now, and if others knew about Ye Jun, it would be dangerous.

But the fact that the Huang Family could capture his brother Ye Jun made this matter extraordinary. Who leaked Ye Jun’s information?

”I... I really don’t know much about the Huang Family’s affairs. You know, I’m just an outsider to the family, not a member of the Huang Family. They are quite wary of me and don’t let me know many things,” Yang Tianyun said softly. ”I only know that someone came to the Huang Family not long ago and gave them a lot of strategies. After that, the Huang Family started asking me to find Ye Jun. I had just found Ye Jun and hadn’t had the chance to send him to the Huang Family when that Black Bear you mentioned sneaked into the Shan De Tea House to kill me. Later... he was subdued by the people of Shan De Tea House. After that, the Huang Family immediately sent a large number of people to station in Shan De Tea House, so when that person came to ambush yesterday, I... wasn’t at a disadvantage. Otherwise, with that person’s skills yesterday, the few people in my Shan De Tea House wouldn’t have been enough to handle him!”

Ye Qing immediately frowned. He knew that the person Yang Tianyun mentioned was definitely Liu Mubai. With Liu Mubai’s skills, dealing with people like Yang Tianyun would be a piece of cake. However, if a group of people from the Huang Family besieged Liu Mubai, Liu Mubai would not stand a chance. After all, the Huang Family is also a Martial Arts Family, and Huang Yidao is a Top-Level Master. There are definitely many masters among them.

Moreover, from Yang Tianyun’s words, Ye Qing had basically understood the situation. It seemed the Huang Family originally didn’t know about Ye Jun. The key to why they captured Ye Jun was the person who gave the Huang Family those strategies.

”What’s the name of the person giving the strategies to the Huang Family?” Ye Qing asked in a deep voice.

”That, I don’t know either,” Yang Tianyun said. ”That’s an internal affair of the Huang Family. I’ve only heard about it. Moreover, this is a very confidential matter in the Huang Family. Not many people in the Huang Family know about it, let alone someone like me who’s an outsider!”

Ye Qing’s heart skipped a beat. Since the other party was hiding so well, it seems they were very familiar with him. Although he didn’t know who it was, the current situation made Ye Qing very concerned. The other party knew him very well and even captured Ye Jun and the other two. Under these circumstances, rescuing the three of them would not be easy.

”Who in the Huang Family could know where these three are being held?” Ye Qing asked in a deep voice.

”This...” Yang Tianyun thought carefully and said in a low voice, ”The current Family Head, Huang Wuxing, he definitely knows.”

”Besides the current Family Head?” Ye Qing asked in a deep voice. ”I can’t possibly just grab the Family Head to find them, right?”

”That’s true,” Yang Tianyun scratched his head, thought for a moment, and said, ”There might be another person who knows where these three are held. His name is Huang Linhao. He’s the son of Huang Wuxing and the great-grandson of that old senior. Originally, the Huang Family was headed by Huang Yidao, and his son Huang Linxuan was naturally the Young Master of the Huang Family. However, after Huang Yidao’s death, the Huang Family had some internal strife for a while. Until that old senior came out, everything stopped. Huang Wuxing, being the old senior’s grandson, naturally became the Family Head. In order to raise his son’s reputation in the family, Huang Wuxing took his son along for various matters and involved him in many family affairs, including this one. So, he must know where these three are being held!”

Upon hearing this, Ye Qing slowly nodded. Capturing Huang Wuxing is not easy, as he is the head of the Huang Family and a senior with presumably great strength. However, capturing Huang Linhao would not be as difficult.

”Alright!” Ye Qing looked at Yang Tianyun and said, ”Since that’s the case, then please help take us to the Huang Family!”

”Huh?” Yang Tianyun’s eyes widened in astonishment as he looked at Ye Qing and said, ”Go... to the Huang Family? No way, I... I can’t go to the Huang Family. If they find out I brought you there, they’ll... they’ll know I leaked family matters, and they won’t let me go...”

”Don’t worry. As long as you take me there and help me find the people, I assure you, you won’t be harmed,” Ye Qing said coldly. ”But if you don’t take us, you might not survive now. Think it over yourself!”

”This...” Yang Tianyun was very anxious. He didn’t dare to take Ye Qing to the Huang Family. But if he didn’t take them, it was still a dead end. He didn’t know what to choose.

”Take me to the Huang Family, and what follows is between me and them. Once you leave Xifu City, leave the Western Province, you can still live freely. The world is huge; if you hide your name and conceal yourself, the Huang Family won’t find you!” Ye Qing smiled coldly. ”But if you don’t take me, you won’t survive today. Decide for yourself, will you take me or not?”

Ye Qing’s words made Yang Tianyun unable to think further. He scratched his head, suddenly looked fiercely at the nearby Li Yuanhui, and said in a deep voice, ”I can take you there, but this guy knows our business and will definitely inform on us. If this matter leaks, and we haven’t reached the Huang Family, they might already know. Therefore, this guy must be dealt with first!”

”Huh?” Li Yuanhui’s face changed, and he looked at Yang Tianyun indignantly, saying, ”Cousin, how... how can you do this?”

Yang Tianyun’s face twisted with hatred, despising Li Yuanhui for deceiving him. So, before leaving, he wanted Ye Qing to kill Li Yuanhui first.

Ye Qing had already considered this. For confidentiality reasons, this person cannot be kept alive. Besides, from his conversation earlier with Yang Tianyun, it was clear these two had done many outrageous things. Keeping people like them around would be harmful; killing them would be doing a public service.

Seeing Ye Qing’s expression change, Li Yuanhui was even more fearful. He said, trembling, ”You... you said, if I bring him here, you’d let me go. You... you can’t go back on your word!”

Ye Qing said nothing, moved directly towards Li Yuanhui, covered his mouth, and plunged the dagger into his heart. After the incident in Shenchuan City, Ye Qing was no longer as soft-hearted as before. The power of the Devouring Demon Flower was gradually changing his mindset, and the influence of the Demon Sect was continually altering his disposition. Yet, he did not resist these changes, as he deeply understood the principle that people with good intentions are often bullied!

Fu Qingping watched from the side, completely unfazed. As a swordsman, his path to fame was paved with the lives of others. His inclination to kill was much stronger than Ye Qing’s. During the previous encounter with the Sky-Killing Master, he already had the intention to kill. If it weren’t for the Sky-Killing Master’s strong abilities, it wouldn’t have been just an arm left but his life!

Seeing Ye Qing so decisively kill Li Yuanhui, Yang Tianyun felt pleased but also more awed by Ye Qing, fearful that one slip could cost him his life too.

”Now we can go.” Ye Qing carried Li Yuanhui’s body inside and then looked at Yang Tianyun, asking in a deep voice, ”How far is the Huang Family from here?”

Yang Tianyun dared not delay and answered in a trembling voice, ”The Huang Family is in the suburbs of Xifu City, about fifty kilometers from here.”

”Are there many guards outside?” Ye Qing asked in a deep voice.

”There are some sentinels, but driving my car there shouldn’t be a problem,” Yang Tianyun replied softly.

Ye Qing slightly furrowed his brow, not entirely trusting these words. After all, Yang Tianyun sneaked out of Shan De Tea House today and seemed to be hiding in Xifu City. Driving his car to the Huang Family would definitely alert them. Moreover, there was someone in the Huang Family who knew Ye Qing well and was advising them, making Ye Qing wary of taking risks.

”Is there another route to bypass these sentinels?” Ye Qing asked.

Yang Tianyun replied, ”The mountain road is barely passable, but there’s about ten kilometers of it, and you can’t drive through...”

”We’ll take the mountain road!” Ye Qing replied decisively. A distance of ten kilometers was nothing to him.

Yang Tianyun, however, was in agony. Though he knew some martial arts, his body was depleted over the years by indulgence, never having walked such a distance. Furthermore, the mountain road would be challenging for him. But between taking the mountain road and saving his life, he knew what to choose.

Having dealt with Li Yuanhui’s situation, Ye Qing grabbed Yang Tianyun, and together with Fu Qingping, went downstairs. The three didn’t use Yang Tianyun’s car, as it would be too conspicuous. Fortunately, Li Yuanhui had a car; they switched to his car, left the city by side roads, and headed toward the Huang Family.

The Huang Family is also a Martial Arts Family, albeit not as renowned as the Shen Family, but has a long history. Its location, much like the Shen Family’s, is in a very remote area outside Xifu City. Without Yang Tianyun guiding, Ye Qing would have had a hard time finding it despite knowing the direction.
