As everyone entered, they were all carrying waterproof radio equipment, able to transmit messages at any time.

Previously, while swimming, they could still hear the messages from Blackie and the others. But by the time they got here, the radio was filled with static, and they couldn’t hear any movement from Blackie’s group. Clearly, the radio was useless here, so everyone had to blindly swim forward, preparing to rendezvous with Blackie and the others.

After swimming forward for about fifty meters, they unexpectedly saw some light, which baffled everyone. Undoubtedly, they were about to reach the surface. However, considering the distance, they had already ventured deep into the mountain. Where could this light be coming from inside the mountain?

Before they could figure out what was happening, the person at the front seemed to be grabbed by something and was abruptly pulled out of the water. Although everyone else was still submerged, they could hear a piercing scream, as if something terrifying had happened.

Ye Qing, being the third one, saw it most clearly. A claw descended and plucked the person at the front out of the water. The claw was enormous, as large as a winnowing basket, and looked extremely terrifying.

Though the others behind couldn’t see clearly, they panicked and turned to flee. Ye Qing also wanted to turn back, but just then, a second claw descended and grabbed the person in front of him. Before Ye Qing could turn, another claw reached down, trying to grab him.

In such a situation, if Ye Qing tried to swim back, he would definitely be slower than the claw and would surely get caught. Thankfully, his reflexes were quick; seeing the claw descend, he immediately raised his Scabbard and forcefully chopped at the claw.

The claw was covered in scale armor, but compared to The Ancestor of Miao Dao’s Scabbard, the scale armor was nothing; Ye Qing chopped off half of the claw with a single strike.

”Roar!” Everyone heard a frenzied beast roar, and immediately, a massive head pushed down, trying to bite Ye Qing in the passageway.

Ye Qing had no time to retreat now, so he firmly gripped The Ancestor of Miao Dao’s Scabbard, and as the head came down, he struck it directly. A wound swiftly appeared on the beast’s head, causing it to retreat in pain, roaring furiously, with a deafening volume that made everyone’s ears ring in the water.

Having the upper hand twice, Ye Qing decided not to run. He swam more than a meter forward, burst out of the passage, and surfaced.

Just as Ye Qing left the water surface, another huge claw came down. But Ye Qing was prepared, striking it with his Scabbard, cutting off half of the claw again as a beast roar echoed in the Cave.

Using this opportunity, Ye Qing leapt out of the water and stood on the shore. Looking around, he found himself in a spacious Cave.

Curiously, the Cave wasn’t dark at all, gently illuminated, not too bright but enough to see everything inside clearly.

Beside Ye Qing was a wide Underground River. The water in the passage just now flowed into this Underground River. In other words, they had emerged from the passage directly into this Underground River.

Beside the Underground River stood three large dragon crocodiles, just like the one Ye Qing saw outside. However, these three dragon crocodiles were significantly larger than the one Ye Qing saw outside.

The dragon crocodile Ye Qing saw outside had a body length of about five meters. But here, the shortest of the three dragon crocodiles was at least six to seven meters, and the largest one had a body length of ten meters, with its four claws really as large as winnowing baskets.

The ones Ye Qing injured earlier were the two slightly smaller dragon crocodiles. The great dragon crocodile stood aside, chewing on half a corpse, one of the men who had just been lifted out of the water. There were several more corpses lying on the ground beside it, clearly those of Blackie’s group who had come to scout earlier.

No wonder Blackie’s group made no sound afterward; they had fallen prey to the dragon crocodiles.

Seeing these three dragon crocodiles, Ye Qing frowned tightly. He thought that after killing the dragon crocodile outside, the biggest problem would be solved. Unexpectedly, inside, there were even more dragon crocodiles, and they were much larger than the one outside, making the situation much more difficult.

Fortunately, now that Ye Qing was on the shore, he was much more agile, and he still held The Ancestor of Miao Dao’s Scabbard, so he wasn’t too flustered. He gripped the Scabbard tightly, staring intently at the three dragon crocodiles, contemplating how to deal with them.

Meanwhile, the two slightly smaller dragon crocodiles were also staring fixedly at Ye Qing. It seemed that they realized this seemingly small creature wasn’t so easy to bully. Therefore, they didn’t attack directly, instead slowly circling Ye Qing, as if waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

Ye Qing refused to show weakness, staring intently at the two dragon crocodiles, while slowly moving along with them. The dragon crocodiles were immensely strong and fast in their attacks, so Ye Qing dared not act rashly. Facing such terrifying creatures, even the slightest mistake could mean death.

Ye Qing burst out from the water, while the others in the passage did not follow. However, they did not retreat, instead hiding in the passage and listening to the commotion outside. If things went south, they would surely withdraw.

Handsome Fatty Wang was at the back; the passage was quite narrow, and since the people ahead did not leave, he could not exit either. Feeling anxious and unable to hear what was happening outside, he leaned on the wall, barely sticking his head out of the water, shouting, ”Hey, Young Ye, how are you? Are you okay?”

Upon hearing Handsome Fatty Wang’s voice, Ye Qing immediately replied, ”I’m fine, don’t come out yet…”

Just as Ye Qing uttered these words, the two dragon crocodiles suddenly lunged at him simultaneously. Ye Qing was prepared for this; seeing them rush forward, he swung the scabbard in his hand, first dodging one, then striking forcefully at the other.

That dragon crocodile had suffered at the hands of the scabbard before and dared not resist directly. It quickly retracted its body, even bringing up the shell on its back to block Ye Qing’s scabbard.

The scabbard hit the shell, making a clanging sound, clearly showing how hard that shell was.

Ye Qing’s strike was ineffective; he intended to use the scabbard’s tip against the dragon crocodile. Suddenly, a gust of wind came from behind. Ye Qing quickly moved forward one step, rolling on the ground, narrowly avoiding the tail swipe from the second dragon crocodile, almost caught.

These two dragon crocodiles were bigger than the one outside, thus stronger. If Ye Qing were caught by their tails, it would be dangerous.

Ye Qing was alert, dodging that swipe, immediately leaping onto the shell of the first dragon crocodile. It raised its tail to strike Ye Qing, who showed no mercy, sweeping his knife horizontally at the tail.

The dragon crocodile did not dodge this time, its tail still swiping while its head twisted around, jaw wide open, ready to bite Ye Qing. Judging from its stance, it was prepared to go all out against Ye Qing, even if its tail got injured, aiming to kill Ye Qing.

Ye Qing certainly wouldn’t trade his life; seeing this situation, he quickly jumped off the shell. However, this dragon crocodile proved fierce as it lunged forward, attempting to bite Ye Qing before he landed.

At the same time, the other dragon crocodile attacked, similarly lunging to bite Ye Qing from another direction.

With only a scabbard in hand, when Ye Qing struck one dragon crocodile, he couldn’t deal with the other. Facing two dragon crocodiles simultaneously biting, Ye Qing was truly in a predicament.

Confronted with such a dilemma, Ye Qing’s face changed slightly, but he quickly regained calm.

”Ha!” Ye Qing shouted loudly and instead of using the scabbard to strike the dragon crocodiles, he channeled his energy into his palm and struck the head of the closest dragon crocodile with all his might.

Ye Qing hit the dragon crocodile’s head with great force, knocking it several steps backward while Ye Qing bounced back slightly, narrowly avoiding the second dragon crocodile’s attack, an incredibly close encounter.

The dragon crocodile hit in the head seemed dizzy, spinning around on the spot. Ye Qing wouldn’t let this chance slip, seizing the moment; he lunged at the other dragon crocodile.

This dragon crocodile was fierce, opening its massive jaws to bite Ye Qing as he approached. Ye Qing refused to dodge, raising the scabbard, swinging it at the dragon crocodile’s head.

The dragon crocodile dared not take the hit directly, quickly withdrawing, using its shell to block, while its tail swept over, aiming to wrap around Ye Qing. This was a repeated tactic; it had previously used this move to push Ye Qing away.

This time, Ye Qing learned from experience, seeing the dragon crocodile use the same trick; he did not dodge. As the scabbard nearly struck the shell, Ye Qing abruptly turned it sideways, changing the strike to a slap, hitting the shell heavily. Ye Qing exerted force onto the scabbard, using it to leap over two meters high, evading the sweeping tail.

The dragon crocodile was unaware Ye Qing had jumped; as its tail swept, its head reached out to bite Ye Qing, attempting a dual attack. But by then, Ye Qing had dodged its tail, landing perfectly. Seeing the dragon crocodile turn its head, Ye Qing swung the scabbard down directly, striking the dragon crocodile’s neck.
