Urban Martial Saint

Ye Qing never imagined, even in his dreams, that while he was pondering why the Corpse Ghost Dragon hadn’t chased him, Shen Qianyue was already here. Before he arrived, Shen Qianyue had already met with Nine-Fingers Wu Yong, which was something he hadn’t anticipated at all.

Nine-Fingers Wu Yong sighed heavily and said in a deep voice, ”You’re right, this fellow Ye is indeed hard to deal with. Not only is he strong, but he’s also very skillful. Just now, he indeed forced me to take a poison, which is said to be Ning Qianshu’s exclusive poison.”

”Hahaha...” Shen Qianyue laughed heartily, saying, ”Such things are not hard to predict. He wants to control you, without poison, does he expect to persuade you with words? However, the pill I gave you earlier is enough to absorb all the poison. Wu Yong, if you’re willing to work for me, I’ll help you get rid of this poison, and after the Grand Master dominates the world, I promise you’ll enjoy endless wealth and prosperity.”

”What’s there to say now?” Nine-Fingers Wu Yong slowly nodded, saying, ”I’m not stupid, of course I understand what choice to make. Mr. Shen, what do you want to do?”

”It’s very simple, help him get to the deepest part of the tomb, do your best to help him retrieve the items from inside the tomb,” Shen Qianyue replied.

”Ah?” Nine-Fingers Wu Yong said in surprise, ”Aren’t you planning for me to kill him in the tomb? Mr. Shen, if you want to kill him in the tomb, I’m quite confident. I’m the best at mechanisms and such things!”

”He definitely has to die, but not now,” Shen Qianyue said, ”The Grand Master wants the items in the tomb, only he can reach the deepest part of the tomb. So, before he brings out the items from the tomb, we must ensure his safety.”

”This...” Nine-Fingers Wu Yong scratched his head and said, ”What about after he gets this thing?”

Shen Qianyue said in a deep voice, ”After getting this thing, bring him out, I’ll be waiting for him outside. Remember, you must bring him to the place I’ve arranged. This person is extremely strong, I must set up an array to trap him, then I can kill him!”

Nine-Fingers Wu Yong slowly nodded, saying, ”I understand, in the afternoon I’ll go check the map he gave us. Before I leave, I’ll mark the location clearly for you. By then, you just need to set the array at the place I marked, then you can deal with him. I’ll lead him into it!”

”Very good!” Shen Qianyue nodded in satisfaction, smiling, ”If this is done, the Grand Master will undoubtedly be very pleased. I guarantee, no one under heaven will dare to harm a single hair on your head!”

Nine-Fingers Wu Yong was greatly pleased, saying, ”Then from now on, I must trouble Mr. Shen to put in a good word for me before the Grand Master.”

”Hahaha...” Shen Qianyue laughed heartily, saying, ”As long as you work well for me, you don’t have to worry about other matters.”

”Naturally.” Nine-Fingers Wu Yong nodded quickly, whispering, ”Mr. Shen, I’ll be off then. I see that Ye fellow is very shrewd, if I stay here too long, I’m afraid something might go wrong.”

”Alright!” Shen Qianyue nodded, and Nine-Fingers Wu Yong quickly turned and walked back through the passageway, until he reached his room.

Everything in the room was as usual; in the short time Nine-Fingers Wu Yong was in the secret chamber, no one had come in, which made him feel much more at ease. He sat down behind the desk, calming his racing heart, then turned his head toward the bookshelf, a cold smile suddenly playing on his lips.

”The mantis stalks the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind. Ye Qing, Shen Qianyue, this time, you are destined to make a wedding dress for my Wanyan Family!”

Nine-Fingers Wu Yong’s voice was very small, so small that only he could hear it. If Ye Qing heard these words, he would be greatly shocked. Because this confirmed his suspicion, Nine-Fingers Wu Yong was indeed a member of the Wanyan Family.

Taking a few deep breaths over here, trying hard to keep himself calm, Nine-Fingers Wu Yong then called some subordinates in, instructing them to arrange manpower and prepare tools. This tomb, he still had to enter it. What Ye Qing and Shen Qianyue wanted, he also wanted. The Secret Technique left by Patriarch Bodhidharma was also something the Wanyan Family coveted.

After lunch, Nine-Fingers Wu Yong hurried to the hall again, where he carefully studied the map with Ye Qing and Handsome Fatty Wang.

”I’ve been to this place twice,” Nine-Fingers Wu Yong said in a deep voice after staring at the map for a while, ”The location shown on the map is not far from here, about more than one hundred kilometers. Normally, it takes more than three hours to drive there. The first seventy kilometers are relatively easy to travel, all are highways, the last thirty kilometers are all mountain roads, and the further you go, the less road there is, so the latter part is more difficult to travel. The first seventy kilometers take about an hour by car, and the latter part takes about two more hours to reach.”

”You’ve been there, that makes things much easier,” Handsome Fatty Wang said, ”You should be quite familiar with the terrain there, right?”

”This...” Nine-Fingers Wu Yong was silent for a while, then said, ”Familiar yes, but to be honest, I really didn’t know there was a Great Tomb there.”

Handsome Fatty Wang said, ”Nonsense, which of these Great Tombs is exposed to the outside? Many Great Tombs are underground and can only be found by digging up the ground.”

”The land over there...” Nine-Fingers Wu Yong smiled wryly, ”I’m afraid it’s not possible to dig it up.”

”Why?” Ye Qingqi asked.

”It’s a Stone Mountain, the whole place is full of stones, how could it be dug up?” Nine-Fingers Wu Yong replied.

”Can’t be true, isn’t there any soil?” Handsome Fatty Wang asked in astonishment.

Nine-Fingers Wu Yong thought for a while, then said, ”I’ve walked through this mountain twice, there’s no place on the mountain where it could be dug open. If there’s a place to hide a tomb, there’s a small spring on the mountain, which might be the only place that can be dug.”

”So, our target is this spring then,” Handsome Fatty Wang said.

Nine-Fingers Wu Yong opened his mouth, wanting to say something, but in the end, kept quiet.

Nine-Fingers Wu Yong’s expression was fully absorbed by Ye Qing, who didn’t ask further. The map indicated here, so it must be correct. Although Shijia was unreliable, in such matters, he couldn’t possibly be wrong.

Nine-Fingers Wu Yong took the map and studied it again, almost memorizing the entire map, before getting up to leave. Back in his room, he immediately redrew the map again. Moreover, he made a mark on the map, before handing it to Shen Qianyue. The marked place was where Shen Qianyue would take action.

After settling everything with Shen Qianyue, Nine-Fingers Wu Yong then quickly redrew another map, which he secretly threw into the trash can, and had a subordinate take it out to dump. This map, he was to give to the Wanyan Family. The mark he made earlier was also marked on this map. The place where Shen Qianyue acted was also where the Wanyan Family would act. When Shen Qianyue and Ye Qing become severely injured from fighting, they will step in to seize the items, ensuring a foolproof success.

However, Ye Qing and Shen Qianyue knew nothing about this. Especially Shen Qianyue, he thought he had everything under control, not knowing he was just the mantis being captured.

It’s just, in this affair, who is the mantis, and who is the oriole is yet to be determined. Ye Qing had long been on guard against Nine-Fingers Wu Yong, and Nine-Fingers Wu Yong trying to deal with Ye Qing wasn’t that easy either.

The next afternoon, the manpower and tools arranged by Nine-Fingers Wu Yong were all ready. Without delay, Nine-Fingers Wu Yong, who was already ready with vehicles, set off with Ye Qing and Handsome Fatty Wang.

As Nine-Fingers Wu Yong had said, it took them more than three hours to get to the location marked on the map.

This was a hill called Canglong Mountain, with a small village at the base named Kao Shan Village. The village was very secluded, with not many people. When Ye Qing and his entourage arrived, there was quite a stir in the village. After all, in such a remote place, few vehicles came, let alone a convoy of five or six vehicles at once.

Besides bringing the full range of equipment, Nine-Fingers Wu Yong also brought along twenty-three experienced subordinates. Along with Ye Qing’s two, there were twenty-six people in total, showing how seriously he took this tomb expedition.

Fortunately, the location of the tomb was relatively remote, so having so many people wasn’t too much trouble. Otherwise, if the police were alerted, Ye Qing would have to think of ways to handle it, which would waste time.

”It’s this mountain,” Nine-Fingers Wu Yong said after getting out of the car, pointing to a large mountain in front, ”This is the mountain marked on the map. The map is drawn rough, not knowing exactly where to enter. I suspect there must be a secret passage inside.”

”Impossible, right?” Handsome Fatty Wang scratched his head, ”If there’s a secret passage on the mountain, why isn’t it marked on the map? Without a mark, how can anyone find out where it is on such a vast mountain?”

Looking at the mountain ahead, which was indeed a Stone Mountain as Nine-Fingers Wu Yong had mentioned before—barren and covered with huge stones, similar to what Ye Qing saw in a stone mountain in Beimang Mountain. In such a mountain, it was basically impossible to dig out something. How the Demon Sect built a Great Tomb in such a mountain is beyond understanding?

”Didn’t you say earlier there’s a spring on this mountain?” Ye Qing said to Handsome Fatty Wang, ”Could the passage be under this spring?”

”Yes, yes, the spring,” Handsome Fatty Wang said immediately, ”I almost forgot about it. Since nowhere else on the mountain can be dug, under the spring, there might be some secret. Let’s go check by the spring first!”

”This...” Nine-Fingers Wu Yong hesitated for a moment, then whispered, ”Mr. Ye, by the spring, I think, we shouldn’t go. There... there is a Water Monster!”
