Urban Martial Saint

The three people around were all stunned. They had seen many ways to kill, but this was the first time they had witnessed such a situation.

The Bloody Monk stood up, pressed his palms together, and his entire body seemed like a sharp blade, piercing through that Peak Master’s body. That Peak Master, almost split in two, fell directly to the ground. Until his death, he probably didn’t know what had happened, or even how he had died!

A Peak Master was killed so easily by the Bloody Monk.

”This...” Luan Ping was almost scared out of his wits. Seeing his ally, who had come with him, lying in a pool of blood, he nearly couldn’t stand.

Shen Qianyue, however, reacted quickly. He suddenly turned around and ran, without any hesitation.

Seeing Shen Qianyue run, Luan Ping didn’t dare to delay for a moment and immediately ran as well. After just two steps, the Bloody Monk rushed over, trying to grab him with a sweep of his hand.

Right now, Luan Ping wouldn’t dare fight with the Bloody Monk. Seeing him approaching, he immediately retreated several steps. At this moment, the Wolf Monk also rushed over, blocking Luan Ping’s path, and shouted, ”Senior Brother, let’s go together and catch him!”

It wasn’t clear if the Bloody Monk understood or not, but he charged straight ahead. Both hands reached out, one grabbing at Luan Ping, the other unexpectedly at the Wolf Monk.

The Wolf Monk did not expect the Bloody Monk to strike him and was obviously a little stunned. But, he dared not delay. He had just witnessed the Bloody Monk kill that Peak Master. If he were caught, it would be over.

Luan Ping was the same, not daring to take the Bloody Monk’s attack head-on. So, the two of them retreated almost simultaneously. The Bloody Monk had clearly locked onto the two of them, rapidly pursuing, ready to kill them both by the looks of it.

The three ran more than ten meters. Just then, Shen Qianyue, who had run away earlier, suddenly returned. He rushed to the corpse of the Peak Master, picked it up on his back, and turned toward the Sha Men.

”Shen Qianyue!” Seeing the situation, Luan Ping became anxious and said, ”Help me!”

”The Bloody Monk is controlled by a Heart Demon; he can’t distinguish between friend and foe; all living things are his enemies!” Shen Qianyue shouted, ”As long as you draw his attention to another living being, you can escape!”

Luan Ping suddenly understood. No wonder Shen Qianyue ran straight away earlier. He clearly knew what was happening, so he ran far away, leaving him and the Wolf Monk here to attract the Bloody Monk’s focus. As a result, the Bloody Monk indeed locked onto the two of them and blocked them.

Upon hearing Shen Qianyue’s words, Luan Ping quickly turned to retreat, intending to run away first and divert all the Bloody Monk’s attention to the Wolf Monk. But, the Wolf Monk wasn’t foolish either and ran with him, unwilling to face the Bloody Monk alone.

The two of them ran for about half a minute, with the Bloody Monk pursuing for half a minute. During this time, the blood-red kasaya on the Bloody Monk gradually began to change color, turning from blood red to a deep black. At this moment, the Bloody Monk looked truly demonic, terrifying everyone!

”Senior Brother! Senior Brother!” The Wolf Monk shouted loudly while fleeing. However, the Bloody Monk was completely controlled by the Heart Demon, only thinking about killing and unwilling to let him go or wake up.

Just then, a car sped towards them. Before it even reached, a head stuck out of the window and shouted, ”What’s going on?”

The newcomer was Helian Tiehua, accompanied by Ding Lianshun and Huangfu Ziyu. The three had gone to protect the main members of the Seven Steering Committees of the Hong Alliance. But instead of meeting Shen Qianyue and the others, they received a call from the Bloody Monk and immediately rushed over to support them.

Seeing the situation from afar, Helian Tiehua had no idea what was happening. The Bloody Monk fighting with Luan Ping was normal, but why did it look like even the Wolf Monk was avoiding the Bloody Monk?

Seeing Helian Tiehua and the others arrive, the Wolf Monk finally breathed a sigh of relief and hurriedly said, ”General Helian, quick, my senior brother is wreaking havoc with the Heart Demon, losing control.”

”Wreaking havoc with the Heart Demon?” Helian Tiehua was greatly shocked. By this time, they had already arrived.

Ding Lianshun got out of the car. Seeing Luan Ping there, he immediately pounced over, prepared to join forces to deal with Luan Ping.

”Don’t come over!” The Wolf Monk’s urgent call came too late. Ding Lianshun was already rushing over. And Luan Ping had been waiting. As soon as Ding Lianshun rushed over, he dodged swiftly, giving up his position to Ding Lianshun, while he dashed more than ten steps away, escaping from the Bloody Monk’s side.

Ding Lianshun turned to pursue, but as soon as he turned, a hand grabbed his shoulder, holding him firmly in place.

”What’s going on?” Ding Lianshun turned to look, only to see the Bloody Monk bringing a palm down on him. Startled, Ding Lianshun hastily raised his hand to defend. However, the Bloody Monk’s palm struck his arm, sending a shock through his entire body, almost making him unable to withstand it, which deeply shocked him.

The Bloody Monk’s strength indeed surpasses Ding Lianshun slightly, but only just so. If the two were to truly fight, determining a winner would be quite difficult. However, that last strike from the Bloody Monk nearly shattered Ding Lianshun because the displayed gap in power between them was just too vast.

”Blood Robe Sect Leader, what are you doing?” Ding Lianshun asked anxiously, but the Bloody Monk didn’t respond, delivering another palm strike.

Luckily, the Wolf Monk was nearby and immediately extended his arms to help block the blow.

”My senior brother has been controlled by a Heart Demon; he’ll kill any living being in front of him!” the Wolf Monk said solemnly. ”Mr. Ding, you must be careful; he’s not conscious of his actions and his strength has greatly increased!”

”Heart Demon?” Ding Lianshun widened his eyes, staring at the Bloody Monk’s kasaya, which had turned crimson-black. He dared not be careless now and marshaled all his energy to fend off the Bloody Monk.

Both of them were entangled with the Bloody Monk, not daring to be negligent, and could only evasively dodge his attacks. Meanwhile, Helian Tiehua immediately pursued Luan Ping as he dashed into the manor where the Sha Men resided.

Within the manor, Shen Qianyue was fiercely battling the White-haired Ding San. Despite Ding San’s inferior combat ability compared to Shen Qianyue, his Undying Body made it difficult for Shen Qianyue to repel him easily.

Behind Ding San, Broom Star sat cross-legged on the ground, appearing reminiscent of a monk in a meditative trance. All the chaos around seemed to elude his attention, and he paid no heed to the fight happening before him.

”This child?” Luan Ping was astonished; it was his first time seeing Broom Star, and he hadn’t expected the child to be like this.

”That’s him, take him!” Shen Qianyue said in a low voice.

”Alright!” Luan Ping shouted, charging directly at Broom Star.

The White-haired Ding San immediately turned to intercept, but he was quite a distance from Luan Ping. Luan Ping delivered a palm strike, sending Ding San flying, then grabbed Broom Star and turned to flee.

”Where do you think you’re going!” Following an enraged shout, Great General Helian Tiehua also rushed over, and without another word, charged at Luan Ping.

At this moment, Shen Qianyue also caught up behind Luan Ping. Seeing Helian Tiehua’s fierce demeanor, Shen promptly grabbed Broom Star’s head and shouted, ”If you dare come over, I’ll kill him!”

Helian Tiehua immediately halted, knowing full well that Broom Star is a person both the Bloody Monk and Ye Qing hold in high regard. If he were to die here, things would turn disastrous.

”Helian Tiehua, do not obstruct us, or we’ll part ways!” Shen Qianyue said while retreating, ”If you dare come over, I’ll kill this child. Let’s see how you would explain it to Ye Qing and the Bloody Monk then!”

Helian Tiehua gritted his teeth and said solemnly, ”Shen Qianyue, put the child down, and I can let you leave!”

”Ridiculous, do we need you to let us go?” Shen Qianyue took Broom Star from Luan Ping, shouting, ”We leave when we want, but if you dare stop us, we’ll let this child take the fall first. Helian Tiehua, if you want to disregard his life, then come attack us!”

Helian Tiehua certainly wouldn’t disregard Broom Star’s life. Seeing Shen Qianyue and Luan Ping leaving with Broom Star in their arms, he was furious but helpless. If they wanted to kill Broom Star, it would take just the twitch of a finger—no difficulty at all. His hesitation to act meant he couldn’t make a rescue.

”Shen Qianyue, he’s just a child, why do you trouble him?” Helian Tiehua said in a deep voice. ”What use is there in taking a child back? Put him down, and I can ensure your safe departure!”

”Enough of this nonsense!” Shen Qianyue held Broom Star tight, declaring loudly, ”First, resolve the Bloody Monk’s situation. Hahaha, if it’s not handled well, he’ll likely blood butcher Shenchuan City this time, hahaha...”

With Broom Star in his arms, Shen Qianyue had effectively taken a hostage, swaggering away. Despite his anger, Helian Tiehua dared not act rashly or pursue recklessly. If anything were to happen to Broom Star, he wouldn’t be able to justify it.

Helian Tiehua gritted his teeth, watching helplessly as Shen Qianyue and Luan Ping ran off with Broom Star. At this moment, Ding Lianshun’s anxious voice echoed from the front, ”General Helian, come help!”

Helian Tiehua furrowed his brows; on that side, both Ding Lianshun and Wolf Monk are Peak Masters. Even together, they were calling for help? What help could they need?

Despite his doubt, Helian Tiehua wasted no time, turning swiftly to rush forward, arriving just in time to see the three engaged in battle. The Wolf Monk was visibly at a disadvantage, with blood spilling from the corner of his mouth, indicating internal injuries. As for Ding Lianshun, he too was struggling, with the Bloody Monk’s strength seemingly increased significantly, suppressing him with no chance of resistance.
