Urban Martial Saint

Upon witnessing Ye Qing make a move, everyone around him was stunned. In fact, Ye Qing had rarely taken action himself later when dealing with these little hooligans. His strength was gradually becoming stronger, and dealing with such people was somewhat an overkill, so usually his subordinates would take care of it instead.

Just like with Snake’s subordinates causing trouble before, Ye Qing did not make a move himself but let Black Bear and the others handle them.

However, this time, Ye Qing took matters into his own hands. Moreover, he struck hard, which immediately shocked everyone, even Li Lianshan, who widened his eyes in astonishment, watching Ye Qing, not knowing why he had suddenly lashed out.

Ye Qing had already been furious, as Snake spoke no good words about Huangfu Ziyu, igniting an anonymous fire in Ye Qing’s heart. Later, when he saw him make a move, Ye Qing did not hesitate and directly threw a punch, almost crooking Snake’s nose.

When Snake took that punch, blood immediately gushed from his nose, and his face drastically changed. Covering his nose with one hand and pointing at Ye Qing with the other, he angrily yelled, ”You ********, you dare to hit...”

Before he could finish speaking, Ye Qing threw another punch, causing Snake to stagger back two steps, bump into the sofa behind him, flip over it, and fall to the ground. He scrambled to get up in a panic, his face was utterly embarrassed and beet-red.

”Ye, I gave you face, and you ******* dare hit me!” Snake roared furiously, ”****, you really think I am afraid of you? I’m telling you, this is the suburbs, not the downtown area. In the downtown area, you two may be awesome, but here, I am the king!”

Saying so, Snake waved his hand and shouted, ”Hit them!”

The seventy or eighty lackeys who came with Snake immediately rushed up, causing a ruckus as they flipped tables and smashed windows, their arrogance soaring.

Here, Li Lianshan and Ye Qing’s men also charged up, trying to stop these people. However, the men Ye Qing and Li Lianshan had brought were not many, and facing more than eighty people, they could not control the situation at the moment.

Snake stood to the side, covering his nose, watching Ye Qing and Li Lianshan with satisfaction. He saw his more than eighty underlings taking control of the situation, determined to get his revenge that evening.

However, just as the melee had started not long before, a dozen vans suddenly arrived outside the hotel. As the vehicles stopped, over a hundred people immediately rushed out and stormed in without a word, quickly surrounding all the people Snake had brought, including Snake himself, quashing his earlier arrogance instantly.

Snake knew that Ye Qing and Li Lianshan’s influence in Shenchuan City was strong, but he thought that since this was the suburbs, his territory, he dared to make a move against Ye Qing and Li Lianshan, hoping to catch them off guard and deal with them before they could call for backup. However, he never expected that Ye Qing and Li Lianshan’s men would arrive so quickly, leaving him no time to react.

Li Lianshan was also stunned, as he had not brought many people with him today and was just about to call for backup when so many unexpectedly showed up. He did not know that Ye Qing had already arranged for Da Fei to call for help, and it just so happened to coincide with this moment, making tonight’s call not in vain.

”Ye, Li Lianshan, what is the meaning of this?” Snake looked at Ye Qing and Li Lianshan warily, intoning, ”What, thinking of bullying me because you outnumber me? I tell you, this is my territory, I don’t believe you two dare to touch me!”

Ye Qing and Li Lianshan exchanged glances, and Li Lianshan said in surprise, ”Ye Zi, I remember you just hit him twice, right? Was your punch not hard enough that he didn’t feel it and thought you didn’t touch him?”

Ye Qing shrugged. After throwing two punches, his anger had subsided quite a bit, and he was too lazy to argue with Snake anymore, leaving the matter for Li Lianshan to handle.

Snake then remembered that he had indeed been hit, feeling even more embarrassed and furiously declaring, ”Ye, Li Lianshan, I ****ing warn you, this is not over between us. You hear me clearly, if you can develop this land, then I will take your surname!”

After speaking, Snake waved his hand and loudly said, ”We’re leaving!”

Seeing such a scene, Snake’s underlings also did not dare to linger and turned to follow Snake out. However, the people surrounding them had no intention of letting them go. Even Snake, after taking a few steps, was blocked by two people.

”What? Planning to kidnap me?” Snake widened his eyes and snapped, ”Humph, I don’t believe you have the guts!”

”Kidnapping you is hardly worth it, you are not that valuable. What’s the use of kidnapping you?” Li Lianshan spoke calmly, ”But this hotel isn’t a place you can just come and go as you please. Not to mention, your brothers broke so much stuff, just leaving like this? Aren’t these things supposed to be paid for?”

Looking at the scattered tables, chairs, and dishes on the ground, Snake furrowed his brows, angrily declaring, ”Li Lianshan, don’t go too far!”

”Excessive?” Li Lianshan glared, saying, ”You call this excessive? You come here for no reason, demand my land, trash my place, and beat up my people. Now, I ask for compensation and you call that excessive? Oh boy, you are really hard to deal with, aren’t you? Are you saying I should just suffer in silence and not seek compensation for the damage you caused?”

Snake gritted his teeth and angrily said, ”Cut the crap, how much do you want? Just name a figure!”

”I’m the fairest person ever, I’ll only ask for the actual cost of the damages you caused, not a yuan more!” Li Lianshan waved to a waiter and said, ”Calculate it.”

The waiter immediately came over, made a count, and calculated before saying to Li Lianshan, ”Boss, including the previous damage they caused, the total is one hundred and thirty-seven thousand six hundred eighty-two yuan!”

”Let’s round off the change, make it a hundred and thirty-seven thousand six hundred,” Li Lianshan looked at Snake with a smile and said, ”Snake, are you paying by card, or would you prefer cash?”

”One hundred and thirty-seven thousand six hundred?” Snake’s eyes bulged as he angrily said, ”Li, you trying to scam me? All this junk is worth that much?”

Li Lianshan said, ”I knew you’d ask that, and I’m not here to squabble. How about I show you the receipts for these things?”

Snake angrily said, ”Don’t fucking deceive me with fake receipts, it’s just a few broken tables, chairs, and bowls, a few thousand yuan should more than cover it. One hundred thirty-seven thousand, have you lost your mind wanting that much money?”

”Snake, this is where you’re wrong!” Li Lianshan said, ”I offer you calculations and you don’t accept. I offer you receipts, you claim they’re fake, are you just trying to weasel out of paying?”

”Cut the bullshit! I’ll give you five thousand yuan for all this stuff, take it or leave it,” Snake snapped, pulling out a stack of cash, counting five thousand yuan, and tossing it over, ”There, now we can leave, right?”

Li Lianshan did not even look at the money on the ground, stating, ”Snake, I am a very reasonable person. You damaged property and if you don’t pay enough, I’m afraid you really can’t leave.”

”You fucking trying to frighten me?” Snake retorted heatedly, ”What if I just walk away? Li, I don’t believe you can do anything to me!”

Li Lianshan responded without a word, just gesturing with his hand, and the brothers around immediately closed in, surrounding Snake’s men in the center.

”Not paying is also an option,” Li Lianshan stated, ”We in the underworld rely on the rule: debts are paid one way or another. Now that you’ve damaged my property, paying through physical means is also possible. Being a fair man, let’s use the market rates of Shenchuan City: fifty thousand for a hand, ten thousand for a finger, one hundred thousand for a leg. One hundred thirty-seven thousand six hundred, let me round it off to one hundred thirty thousand for you. All together, that’s just two hands and three fingers, see who’s willing to sacrifice, chop a few fingers off, and we’re even.”

At these words, the men from Snake Form Gate immediately shuddered in fear; nobody wanted to really lose fingers!

Teeth clenched, Snake said angrily, ”Li, you think I’m easily scared? Let me tell you, I’m taking my men and leaving right now. Dare to touch a finger of my brothers, and I swear I won’t let you off!”

As Snake tried to advance, Li Lianshan gestured and his followers quickly moved in, two of them pinning Snake to the ground.

”I won’t harm you, but at least give me what you owe me,” Li Lianshan said, ”I’m giving you half a minute to decide: pay up or chop off fingers. If you decide on the fingers, kindly decide whose fingers to chop, to save me the trouble.”

Snake struggled but couldn’t break free from the two holding him, and he could only grit his teeth and say angrily, ”Stop fucking talking, I won’t pay. Chop off fingers if you dare, just try it!”

”Fine, no choice then, chopping yours is for the best!” Li Lianshan casually picked up a cleaver nearby, walked straight up to Snake, pinned down his wrist with his foot, and aggressively chopped down with the knife.

Snake screamed in terror, thinking that Li Lianshan was just bluffing. He hadn’t expected Li to actually strike. Would his hand be ruined by this slash?

The others were stunned too; they were just low-level hooligans from the suburban area. Bullying locals was one thing, but none had seen real violence like chopping off fingers before. Now, as Li Lianshan acted without hesitation, everyone started to truly feel afraid!
