Urban Martial Saint

Ye Qing knew that what Du Tianyi said was right. People from Sha Men, in their quest for revenge, could practically do anything, let alone stop when they were trying to avenge themselves.

However, the most crucial aspect of the current situation was the impending battle between Sha Men and the Shen Family. Once the fight began, those people from the Western Province would have succeeded in their plan; things would become troublesome afterward, and that was Ye Qing’s biggest worry. Therefore, no matter what, he had to make this phone call and give it a try!

Among the people of Sha Men, the only ones Ye Qing trusted were Cui Yulong and Cui Yu. With no way to contact Cui Yulong, Ye Qing could only call Cui Yu.

The phone rang three times before someone picked up. As soon as the call connected, Ye Qing hurriedly said, ”Mr. Cui, listen carefully. Please do not take people from Sha Men to the Xihang Shen Family. The grudges between you and the Xihang Shen Family were deliberately instigated by those people from the Western Province led by Xu Cunxiao. Their goal is to have you and the Xihang Shen Family severely weakened in a confrontation. If you really go, and both parties get injured, the real beneficiaries would be Xu Cunxiao’s group. Not only you but also the Xihang Shen Family would be in danger. I know your enmity with the Shen Family cannot be resolved, but you’ve already waited for ten years, why the rush now? Wait a while longer, at least until Xu Cunxiao’s plans are clear. Mr. Cui, what do you think?”

There was no sound on the other end, and after a good while, the phone was hung up directly without Cui Yu saying a word. Ye Qing was stunned for a moment, checking the number he had dialed, which was indeed Cui Yu’s. But why hadn’t Cui Yu said a word in response?

Knowing Cui Yu’s character, Ye Qing understood that this man actually was quite thorough in his considerations. Thus, when calling to tell Cui Yu these matters, even if he disagreed, he would at least respond. However, his complete silence made Ye Qing feel something was off.

”How did it go?” Du Tianyi, watching Ye Qing’s expression, shrugged and said, ”I told you, it’s no use talking to these people. They won’t listen to anything you say!”

Ye Qing frowned and after a moment of silence, said, ”Something’s not right. No, I have to make a trip to the tea house!”

”I advise you not to go to the tea house for now!” Du Tianyi waved his hand and said, ”Xu Cunxiao and his people are not fools. They can’t find you and will certainly be waiting at the places you’re likely to go. Your home, your properties, the tea house, and the Lin family, all are very dangerous places. Going now would be like walking into a trap!”

”What should I do?” Ye Qing asked anxiously. ”If the people from Sha Men go to Xihang, we won’t be able to reverse the situation!”

Scratching his head, Du Tianyi acknowledged the trouble at hand. After a long silence, he suddenly looked up with a serious tone and said, ”If you can’t reason with the people from Sha Men, why not try reasoning with the Shen Family? The Shen Family is a massive clan; they might listen to you!”

”You mean...” Ye Qing looked at Du Tianyi and said, ”We should go to Xihang?”

”Exactly, to Xihang!” Du Tianyi nodded and declared, ”If I’m not wrong, once Sha Men people arrive in Xihang, Xu Cunxiao’s group will also head there. All grudges, all conspiracies, will come to an end in Xihang. So, it’s only by going to Xihang that we can settle these matters!”

Ye Qing pondered for a moment, then slowly nodded and said, ”You’re right. Alright, let’s take a trip to Xihang!”

In the tea house, within Cui Yu’s room, the Right Protector Blood-Sealed Throat carefully replaced Cui Yu’s phone where it belonged. The one who had received Ye Qing’s call was not Cui Yu, but the Right Protector who happened to be in the room.

He had not planned on answering the call, but upon seeing that it was from Ye Qing, he picked it up. Ye Qing’s words immediately caused the Right Protector’s brows to furrow. Ye Qing had managed to find out about those people from the Eastern Province, signaling that their plan was starting to be revealed, which was a source of concern.

He didn’t reply but simply hung up the phone and placed it back, pretending as if nothing had happened. Approximately three minutes later, Cui Yu rushed back with his people and said to the Right Protector, ”Everything’s packed up, we can leave at any time. Right Protector, are you really not going to wait for your friends?”

”I’ve already told them, we will meet in Xihang; they will soon arrive there,” stated the Right Protector with a grave voice. ”Also, I’ve received word that the Xihang people have started to seek help everywhere. If we don’t hurry, and they find reinforcements, it will become challenging to handle!”

Everyone was anxious; the last time Sha Men suffered a bitter defeat was because the Xihang Shen Family had rallied many against them. Naturally, they did not want to repeat the same mistakes!

”Then what are we waiting for? Let’s go!” proclaimed Ghost King Li Ruoyuan. ”The sooner we leave, the better our chances. Right Protector, will your friends make it on time?”

”They will surely get to Xihang before us...” the Right Protector said solemnly, ”The most crucial thing is that we must hurry over. Now that everything’s packed, let’s set off. But to be cautious, you should all turn off your communication devices, so we won’t be tracked!”

Immediately, everyone turned off their phones, including Cui Yu, who switched his off and promptly left with the Right Protector and the others. This was his oversight, not expecting the Right Protector to have taken the call for him, so he hadn’t seen that Ye Qing had called.

Seeing that Cui Yu had also turned off his phone, Right Protector felt a bit more at ease. He promptly went out the door, leading his people away.

Just as the people from Sha Men had left, Huangfu Ziyu received the news.

”Miss, our people are all ready as well. We can set out at any moment,” Tianfu said by her side.

Huangfu Ziyu stood at the doorway, still holding the Cold Moon Blade in her hand. Yet her expression was somewhat complex. The scene of Ye Qing hesitating at the window, unwilling to leave, still couldn’t be banished from her mind. Her heart was, after all, filled with concern for this man.

”Miss? Miss?” Seeing that Huangfu Ziyu showed no sign of movement, Tianfu called out softly a couple more times.

Huangfu Ziyu snapped back to reality, glanced at Tianfu, and said, ”Is everyone ready?”

Tianfu knew Huangfu Ziyu was thinking about Ye Qing again and said helplessly, ”Everything is ready. We can set out at any moment.”

”Good!” Huangfu Ziyu nodded and said, ”Set out immediately, but keep our pace slow. We need to arrive in Xi Hang after the Sha Men people. Also, for the next two days, no one should disturb me. I’m going to bond with the Cold Moon Blade!”

Gently caressing the scabbard of the Cold Moon Blade, Huangfu Ziyu’s eyes twinkled with an incredibly resolute light.

Tianfu said, ”Miss, bonding with a Famed Instrument is not something that can be done in a day or two. Perhaps we should wait a bit more? There’s no need to rush this.”

”With all the forces converging on Xi Hang, our strength is a bit too weak. If I cannot bond with the Cold Moon Blade, we’ll have no advantage in this upcoming battle. Therefore, bonding with it is imperative!” Huangfu Ziyu, standing with her hands behind her back, declared proudly, ”The world says Huangfu Ziyu is the number one enchantress of the Eastern Province. This time, I’m going to prove through my actions what a true enchantress is. Bonding with the Cold Moon Blade within two days is more than enough!”

Seeing Huangfu Ziyu so confident, Tianfu did not say anything further and quickly went out to arrange a spacious RV for her.

At the same time, Xu Cunxiao and others were also gathering together. Xu Cunzhi had been sent to the hospital, but it was certain his arm could not be reattached—he was essentially crippled.

The group sat together with different expressions on their faces. Some looked at Xu Cunxiao with schadenfreude, while others were filled with rage, and a few sneered disdainfully.

Xu Cunxiao hung his head low, feeling the most frustrated within. He had taken on this task personally to snatch a Famed Instrument from Ye Qing, but he had not expected that not only would he fail to seize the Famed Instrument, his own brother ended up crippled. It was a loss of the worst kind. Most importantly, he couldn’t explain this to Eldest Brother upon his return!

”Forget it!” After a long silence, Eldest Brother suddenly gestured dismissively and said gravely, ”This Ye chap has a notoriously good fortune. It was no surprise he survived such a high fall from a cliff last time; sparing his life this time doesn’t count for much. However, I must warn everyone, should you encounter Ye Qing again, be extremely careful and don’t get tricked again. We’ve already lost two masters to his hands—we can’t afford to make a third mistake, or it would be utterly humiliating!”

Everyone nodded in agreement. Xu Cunxiao said in a heavy tone, ”Brother, Ye Qing’s strength is actually not that great, he just took us by surprise with a sneak attack. Next time I meet him, I will kill him with my own hands!”

”We can worry about later events later. Right now, the people from Sha Men have already made their move; we shouldn’t linger in Shenchuan City any longer!” Eldest Brother spoke sternly, ”How are the personnel arrangements coming along? When the Shen Family and Sha Men wear each other down, our people need to move in full force. We must seize control of the Eastern Province first, then swallow up the rest of the Western Province without any mistakes, got it?”

”Everything has been arranged, and our people are in position. As soon as the Shen Family and Sha Men finish their fight, our people can make their move immediately!” Xu Cunxiao said.

”Very well!” Eldest Brother nodded, stood up, and declared, ”In that case, brothers, let’s head to Xi Hang. The items stored with the Shen Family must be seized no matter what. Two decades of planning must not be in vain. If we successfully secure these items this time and enter the legendary three doors, who else in this Human Realm would dare stand against us?”

Immediately, everyone’s blood boiled, and they all stood up, shouting out loud with fervor. Even Xu Cunxiao was filled with excitement, clenching his fists tightly and saying in a deep voice, ”The life of my son and the arm of my brother were not lost in vain. Once we succeed, I will make all these people pay with their lives!”
