The Adventures of an Overpowered Knight in Another World

Chapter 94: Chapter 94- The Squires Fight the Knights (2)

The Tinker Knights were just about to drop their weapons when..

”What are you all doing? Do you think there will be any future for us if Baron Chetak is taken away? All of your heads will fly then.”

The backing knights stopped in their tracks and raised their weapons once again.

”Do not fear, the enemy might seem powerful. However, he is alone. The one behind him are all below level 5. We, on the other hand, have more than two hundred knights. What’s more, after launching an attack that massive and powerful, he is bound to be tired. Even if he is a level 10 Divine Paladin, he is a human after all. If we can tire him out, it will be our victory”.

Rattleboots words must have gotten through to them as the Tinker Knights started showing some backbone.

”Commander, let us fight”.

”Yeah, we cannot allow them to look down on our Temple of Light.”

Probably because the squires also thought the same, they stepped up to fight the enemy.

But they couldn’t be any more wrong. The [Exalted Strike] was just one of Reinhardt’s many normal skills. If he wanted to, he could dish out the skill at its maximum output for an entire day.

What’s more, thanks to his broken stats and Divine Traits, all his strength and stamina will be quickly replenished. That is to say, no matter how many times he used the [Exalted Strike], he won’t tire out.

That being said, after thinking for a while, Reinhardt nodded his head at the squires’ request to fight the enemy.

”Good, this is an excellent field for you all to broaden your experience and sharpen your skills. Squires of the Temple of Light, listen up. Boldly march forward and engage your enemy. You shall each take on five of them”.

EHH?! The squires looked askance. It was true that it was they who said that they wanted to fight first; however, wasn’t taking five of them each by themselves too much?

They were thinking of fighting in a formation and defeating enemies with strategy. What was this? Taking on five enemies each, wasn’t this too much? They were just squires while the enemy was all above level 5.

”Do not overthink and advance forward. The enemy might call themselves knights, but you will soon realise the difference between a true knight and those who call themselves one.”

Saying that, he pushed his squires to the front. His actions stunned and even angered the Tinker Knights, who rode on their horses to engage them.

Thus began the first conflict of the future knights of the Temple of Light as they fought against another knight order.

.

CLANG... CLANG... BOOM... the scene was of chaos. Buildings turned into ruins, and pockmarks dotted the ground. Skills collided against skills and weapons against weapons in a fierce attempt to overwhelm the other.

It was already half an hour into the battle, yet it was still going on. The squires who numbered less than thirty and whose average level was around 4, were yet to be defeated. No, far from being defeated, they looked like they were the ones who were holding the advantage.

The less than thirty squires were actually pushing the tinker knights back. How was this possible? If the knights themselves weren’t witnessing the scene firsthand, they would never believe that something like this was possible.

Watching them fight from the sidelines, Reinhardt folded his hands. His eyes observed the battle of each squire, their technique, the way they use their skills, and swing their weapon.

From the biggest of their mistake to the smallest of their advancement, nothing was missed by him. From his perspective, there were quite a few squires in this batch that met the requirement to level up.

However, because their skills and stats were yet to match up, the altar did not recognise them. However, after this battle, they should be able to gain what was absent in them.

His eyes particularly focused on Kevin, Gwen, and the Wolf Kin boys.

”Looks like they don’t need me. The brats are doing just fine without me”.

”No, this cannot be. How is this possible? This must be a dream”.

”This is the reality.”

From the corner, he heard the words coming from Rattleboots. The latter was so fazed that he could no longer differentiate between reality and dream.

”No, this has to be a dream; otherwise, how can my knights be losing to them?”

Reinhardt shifted his eyes and observed the opponent knights. Compared to his squires, although these people possessed higher stats, their skill, technique, and alignment of stats was frankly abysmal.

”Hmm, are they really knights? From my point of view, they look like a ragtag motley crew of mercenaries and adventurers who got on the first wagon to become knights when they got the chance. Did you even train and execute missions like the other knight orders?”...

”In the first place, how can the Council of Elders give their approval to such a bunch calling themselves a knight order? Did your lord bribe one of the council members?”

It was true that because of the many buffs from his titles, the squires were far stronger than what their level showed. However, it also needs to be seen who they are fighting.

The Tinker Knights, a knight order that Reinhardt had never even heard of. It was extremely suspicious how this bunch got to call themselves a knight order in the first place.

Compared to an actual knight order that goes through gruesome training and numerous life and death battles, these people were nothing. It was no surprise to him that his squires were the ones gaining the upper hand in this conflict.

”Shut up!! Just because you are a renowned knight, it doesn’t mean that you can say anything. I will show you what it means to gain power, I will defeat you and climb the heights of glory.”

Suddenly a malevolent aura erupted and engulfed Rattleboots
