The Adventures of an Overpowered Knight in Another World

Chapter 73: Chapter 73- Meeting Priest Rob and his Wife

”Don’t tell me...” Ryley’s eyes became wide. It was only now that he realised his Commander’s hidden ambition. He was not just thinking about making a Knight Order with only humans; no, he was planning on also including other races.

”Haha, it’s still a far reality though.”

What’s more, he said it was far off reality and not a dream. As a matter of fact, Reinhardt was really thinking of including the demi humans and various other races of this world in his Order.

When reincarnating into this world, Dioanax told him to save the world. The world encompassed humans and all the other races that lived in it. As such, he planned on saving all the races.

After seeing that everything was working as usual, he left the headquarters.

.

.

Back inside the Duke’s mansion, when he entered the place, some of the servants came to greet him.

”Lord Reinhardt, a moment”...

”What is it?” One of the maids called out.

”Lord Raymond wants to see you”.

Father? Reinhardt nodded his head before making his way towards the study. The old butler Sebastian greeted him outside the door.

”Ah, Lord Reinhardt. Master is at the Guest Hall. He sent me here to bring you”.

As it appears, his father was not in the study.

But.. ”Guest Hall huh, did some dignitary or noble arrive in our territory?”

He questioned Sebastian, who shook his head ”It’s Priest Rob and his wife, he came here to see master and you”.

From his memories, he recalled that Priest Rob was the leader of the church in Lumiose City. In this world, the church worshipped the old gods. For a leader of such an important place to be here, what was going on?

.

KNOCK... KNOCK...

”Master, I brought Lord Reinhardt.” Arriving in front of the hall, Sebastian knocked respectfully.

”Enter” the voice of his father came from inside. Reinhardt entered, only to find his father, Priest Rob, and his family discussing some light hearted topics while being served some tea and snacks from the servants.

Verdia and Arthur were also here.

”Ah, you are here. Quick, come here and sit down.”

On his father’s words, he found himself a seat on the sofa and sat down.

”So.. why are we gathered here?”...

”Haha, young master Reinhardt looks as heroic no even more than before. It appears that the curse is completely gon.e” Priest Rob’s eyes glowed for a second as he used a skill to gauge if there was any demonic energy still remaining within his body.

”That... the curse is gone. For some reason, it weakened half a year ago, allowing me to break it with my powers.”

He used the old excuse he told everyone when first reincarnating in this world. He was a Divine Paladin after all, so it did not raise any suspicions.

”Good... good. You being in great health is also great news for all of us. With you leading the Order of Temple of Light again, everyone in Lumiose City is more relaxed now. Anyways, I won’t bore you with my talk. The reason I came here is because I received a new miracle from the old gods”...

”Oh? A new miracle, you say. That is a great news. What does it do?” Raymond asked delightedly.

The Miracle that priest Rob mentioned was none other than a skill. Priests and members of the church usually call the skills a gift of the gods, a miracle, so as to say.

”What’s there to hide from you, the Miracle that I received is called the [Blessing Light]. When cast, it can purify evil energy in a large area. Since curses are also a form of evil, I thought of seeing if [Blessing Light] would work on your son”...

”However, your son is exceptional. He has not only broken out of the curse but also purged all the negative energy festering within his body due to the curse”.

So that was the reason, Reinhardt and the others nodded. That said, the curse he was inflicted with was directly from the Demon Lord. Even the Saintess was helpless against him. Although the [Blessing Light] was a great skill, it was nothing compared to the many divine attribute skills that he and the Saintess possessed.

Be that may, it was a great news that the priest in their territory now possessed this skill. In the future, if the demon tried to attack, the skill would be quite useful to repel them back.

”Husband, enough with the work talks. Both our families have gathered together here after a long time, and you are only talking about serious stuff. Young master Reinhardt looks so stiff and out of place.”

Priest Rob’s wife interjected, lightening the mood. She stood up from her seat and sat next to him. As a woman in her mid thirties, she was quite beautiful and charming. Coupled with her ripe body, voluptuous breasts, and the beauty mark right below her left eye, she looked quite sexy.

She wore a low cut, halter neck style purple dress that flashed her deep ravine and big curves. The dress has a high slit, revealing much of her squishy thighs and a sneak peek of her panties.

On her shoulders was a shawl that seemed to match with her dress and appeared to be of a very high quality. Reinhardt remembered that it was a gift from his previous self.

”Hehe, husband is right. You have become more heroic than before. Has the curse made you stronger?”

With a playful and mischievous glint, she leaned towards him, allowing him a generous view of her breastline. What more, her full lips, which were slightly parted in a suggestive expression, hinted at a coy, flirtatious demeanor.

For a moment, Reinhardt didn’t know what to think.

”Haha, Miranda you are still treating young master Reinhardt as a child. That said, you are right. This is a happy occasion, so we should stop talking about work. What do you say, Lord Raymond?”...
