School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 210: Chapter 235: Got Hit

Looking at Lan Yuqin, who was nearly on the verge of an explosion, Chen Nan felt helpless.

He didn’t want to laugh in such a serious situation either, but the problem was he simply couldn’t hold it in. If he didn’t let out a laugh, he might have actually gotten sick from holding it back.

”Teacher, I absolutely did not mean to make fun of you, you have to believe in my noble character. It’s just that I couldn’t help twitching at the corner of my mouth,” Chen Nan earnestly said, struggling to contain his laughter.

Lan Yuqin glowered at him and snapped, ”You call yourself noble? If you were noble, would you be skipping class?”

”Teacher, that was purely an accident, it will absolutely not happen again,” he said.

Upon hearing this, Lan Yuqin immediately leaped up, pointed at him with her teaching whip, and barked, ”What? There’s a next time!?”

Chen Nan broke out in a cold sweat.

He hastily shook his head and said, ”No, what I mean is, it won’t happen again in the future, there’s no next time.”

”That’s more like it,” Lan Yuqin’s anger in her eyes slowly subsided as she glared at Chen Nan. ”Which hand was it that behaved improperly? Stretch it out so I can whip it a few times, to teach you a lesson.”

Chen Nan instinctively took a step back, ”Teacher, we’re as close as iron buddies, do you really have to be so ruthless?”

Lan Yuqin’s eyebrows shot up, and she stood up imposingly and walked towards him, waving the teaching whip and said, ”Behave, stretch out your hand!”

Looking at the flexible whip in her hand, made of plastic, which would probably swell the palm if it struck, Chen Nan took another step back, looking at Lan Yuqin with a face full of innocence.

”Hand it over!”

Lan Yuqin glared and barked out the order.

Seeing that she seemed to be truly angry, Chen Nan knew that he had indeed gone too far this time, and to appease her, he reluctantly stretched out his palm.

Without a second word, Lan Yuqin swung the teaching whip down on his hand.

”Smack...”

A whip struck down, causing Chen Nan to grimace in pain, sucking in a breath of cold air, and he hurriedly retracted his hand, ”Teacher, you’re too harsh!”

”Who told you to pull back? Put it out, ten lashes in total, there are still nine left!”

Chen Nan broke out in a cold sweat again.

Though his martial arts were good, he still feared pain. One lash was painful enough, and with nine more to go, was she really aiming to swell his hand before she would stop?

It seemed he had no choice but to rely on Protective True Qi.

Chen Nan resignedly stretched out his hand again and said to Lan Yuqin, ”Please be gentle, Teacher, it hurts a lot.”

Lan Yuqin snorted coldly, raising the teaching whip again, ready to strike. But then, she noticed a fresh red mark on the palm of Chen Nan’s hand, the result of the whip she had previously wielded.

Her heart softened, and her strength ebbed significantly. When the whip fell on Chen Nan’s hand this time, it had almost no force behind it.

Since she began teaching, this was the first time she had hit a student. She had never hit anyone before. At most, she resorted to assigning copying or other methods for discipline. This time, however, Chen Nan had crossed the line too far, which led her to employ the teaching whip for the first time.

With each subsequent lash, Lan Yuqin’s hits became softer, and the final few were like gentle scratches, barely touching Chen Nan’s hand.

After finishing, Lan Yuqin threw the teaching whip onto her desk, turned her back to Chen Nan, and said in a cold tone, ”You can go now!”

Chen Nan had planned to use Protective True Qi to defend himself, but he hadn’t expected her to barely exert any force in the last nine lashes.

”Are you still angry?”

Looking at Lan Yuqin’s back, Chen Nan did not leave.

Lan Yuqin didn’t respond but continued looking out the window with her back to him.

After a moment of silence, Chen Nan said, ”Don’t be angry anymore. Hit me harder a few more times to vent your anger.”

”Get out!” Lan Yuqin said irritably.

Chen Nan took two steps forward, coming in front of her and looking at her, he noticed some moisture in her eyes. He silently reproached himself, realizing he really had gone too far this time, he had made her cry.

”I know you’re angry, if you feel wronged, you can hit or scold me, just don’t be silently upset,” he pleaded.

Lan Yuqin felt a warmth in her heart, glanced at him, and said, ”Leave, let me be alone.”

”I won’t go if you don’t forgive me.”

Lan Yuqin nodded, ”Fine, I forgive you.”

”I don’t believe you,” Chen Nan said. ”Not unless you smile.”

Lan Yuqin rolled her eyes, ”Smile for no reason?”

”If you smile, it means you’re happy. If you don’t, it means you’re still angry and haven’t forgiven me in your heart.”

”I already said I forgive you.”

”Then smile!” Chen Nan insisted. ”If you don’t, it means you haven’t forgiven me.”

Hearing such childish words, Lan Yuqin couldn’t help but laugh, ”Alright, do you believe me now?”

Chen Nan gazed at her, somewhat entranced, ”You look really beautiful when you smile.”

Lan Yuqin’s heart skipped a beat. She felt her heart pound once, her look at Chen Nan turned complicated. Quickly shaking her head to dispel these thoughts, she changed the subject, ”Stop flattering me, shouldn’t you be heading back to class now?”

Chen Nan withdrew his gaze, scratched his head, and chuckled, ”But the teacher is so pretty, I want to look a little longer.”

Lan Yuqin felt her heart in disarray, stirred up by the guy in front of her.

She gave him a glare and hurriedly said, ”Get back to class quickly, or I really will hit you.”

Chen Nan touched his nose, laughed, and turned to leave.

Watching Chen Nan walk out the door, Lan Yuqin took a deep breath, patted her chest, and only then she realized her heart was still pounding wildly...

When Chen Nan returned to the classroom, it was the end of class.

Unexpectedly, Su Qingqing had not gone out to play today but was sitting there doing her homework.

Seeing Chen Nan come in, she immediately put down her pen, ”Dummy, why did you change clothes?”

”Just went home for a shower.”

Chen Nan casually lied. There were things he didn’t want to discuss with Su Qingqing, as knowing too much could be harmful for her.

Su Qingqing pursed her lips, ”Then... who is that woman with the surname Gongsun that Jiang Xiaomi mentioned earlier?”

”She is an enemy of mine, who once stole something from me.”

”I see. Did you get your stuff back?”

Chen Nan shook his head, not wanting to dwell on this topic with her, ”Anyway, while we have time, could you tutor me in English?”

Su Qingqing giggled happily and nodded quickly, ”Sure, sure!”

Meanwhile, Huo Xinya frowned slightly, watching Chen Nan and Su Qingqing, filled with jealousy. Now that Chen Nan had asked Su Qingqing to tutor him in English, who would he ask to tutor him during lunchtime in the future – Su Qingqing or her?

Huo Xinya felt a mess inside. Although she never admitted to being jealous over her sister’s husband, the truth was she really was jealous, whether she admitted it or not...
