School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 262: Chapter 300 Did You Fall in Love with Her?_2

Chen Nan shook his head and said, ”Don’t think too much about it. It’s not that you’re not good enough, it’s that I have poor judgement. Anyway, I’m sorry.”

”Sorry, what use is that!” Jiang Xiaomi’s tears were already flowing, she was genuinely heartbroken this time, ”If you like your junior sister, then why break up only with me? What about Huo Xinya? Why don’t you break up with her too?”

”I was never together with her in the first place, so how can we break up?” Chen Nan shook his head, ”I’ll tell you the truth, Xinya is the younger sister of my junior sister. In my heart, she is like my future sister-in-law.”

Jiang Xiaomi wiped her eyes and scoffed, ”You see her as your sister-in-law, but she might not see you as her brother-in-law!”

”What do you mean?”

”You ask her what it means!” Jiang Xiaomi snorted coldly, then suddenly snatched the cigarette box from Chen Nan’s hand, pulled out a cigarette, put it in her mouth, lit it and took a puff, only to choke and cough nonstop, her face turning red.

”What are you doing? I’m not worth you hurting yourself like this,” Chen Nan said, patting her back with a touch of heartache.

Jiang Xiaomi glared at him fiercely, suddenly stood up, and kicked Chen Nan to the ground with a raise of her leg. Pointing at him, she shouted, ”Chen you heart stealer, remember this, if I don’t make you mine, then my name isn’t Jiang Xiaomi! Damn!”

Watching Jiang Xiaomi’s retreating figure, Chen Nan opened his mouth, wanting to say something but then stopping himself.

He reached into his pocket, intending to smoke a cigarette, but helplessly realized that Jiang Xiaomi had taken both the cigarette box and the lighter.

”Ah, such misfortune!”

Chen Nan slapped his forehead and strode towards the door.

When he reached the classroom, only Huo Xinya was there reading a book, Han Yuting hadn’t come back yet.

”You’re here, let me continue to tutor you in English.”

”Okay, sure!”

Chen Nan nodded and walked towards her, but his mind was replaying Jiang Xiaomi’s words. She said she considered Huo Xinya as a sister-in-law, but Xinya might not see him as a brother-in-law. What exactly did that mean?

Huo Xinya’s kindness toward him was not lost on Chen Nan.

Not to mention brother-in-law, even some sisters are not this caring toward their brothers!

Maybe Jiang Xiaomi was just spouting nonsense. Chen Nan shook his head and didn’t ponder it further, after all, Huo Xinya was the younger sister of his junior sister, and he never thought that Xinya would like him.

He moved a stool and sat next to Huo Xinya, listening attentively to her explanations.

Previously, Chen Nan wasn’t very serious, getting distracted by Huo Xinya next to him or by her scent. But now, he focused on her explanations, while Xinya occasionally stole glances at him, feeling rather strange...

This guy, apart from being good-looking and skilled in martial arts, didn’t have much else going for him. Why did so many girls like him?

”Why do you keep staring at me?”

Seeing that Huo Xinya had stopped explaining, Chen Nan couldn’t help but ask in confusion.

Xinya panicked inside, her heart almost leaping to her throat, her face burning up, she quickly bowed her head, ”It’s... it’s nothing, I was just thinking, with so many girls in school liking you, how are you going to explain to Yiyi in the future?”

”So many?” Chen Nan laughed, ”You’re exaggerating a bit. Besides, even if there really are many, as long as I’m not dating them, Yiyi won’t blame me.”

After successfully changing the subject, Huo Xinya breathed a sigh of relief, feeling much calmer, ”Honestly, have you noticed, Qingqing’s feelings for you are a bit special.”

Chen Nan nodded, ”I know.”

”What are you planning to do about it?”

After a moment of silence, Chen Nan said, ”I don’t know. The person I least want to hurt is her. She’s like a happy angel, anyone around her feels happy, making it hard to bear the thought of hurting her. But I also know, if things continue this way, I will hurt her sooner or later.”

Huo Xinya stared at Chen Nan, not blinking for a long time before she said, ”Why do I feel like you’ve fallen for her?”

”How is that possible!” Chen Nan quickly shook his head, ”You shouldn’t joke about that.”

”I was just saying it offhand, look how nervous you got.”

Huo Xinya worried for her sister and also felt a tinge of jealousy inside, sensing that Chen Nan might already have a place in his heart for Su Qingqing.

Right, I don’t even like Su Qingqing, why am I feeling nervous!

Chen Nan smiled and did not know how to explain, he simply pointed to the textbook to change the subject, ”There will be a way when we get to the mountain, let’s talk about this later. First, tell me how to use this grammar?”

Huo Xinya nodded and seriously started explaining to him.

Unknowingly, the time for a nap had passed, and other students had gradually returned to the classroom, preparing for the last exam.

Chen Nan had also returned to his seat but Han Yuting was nowhere to be seen.

It wasn’t until the final biology exam began that she hurried back to the classroom, seeming to be in a worse mood than before.

”Hurry up, sit down and get ready for the exam.”

The invigilator scanned the class and began to distribute the test papers.

As Chen Nan passed back his test paper, he casually asked, ”Did something happen to you?”

Han Yuting gave a faint smile, ”It’s just a small matter, thank you for your concern.”

”There’s no need for formalities between classmates. If there is anything you need help with, just let me know,” Chen Nan said with a smile.

It wasn’t that he wanted to flirt with the beautiful girl, but rather it was a mindset of helping others for pleasure.

If Han Yuting were not the school beauty, but just an ordinary girl or even an ugly girl, Chen Nan would help her all the same if she had any difficulties. Of course, if Han Yuting were not the school beauty, Chen Nan’s biased eyes probably wouldn’t fixate on her casually, or he might not even have noticed her troubles...

”That lecherous guy, actually hitting on my goddess!”

Zhu Bajie, sitting at the back of the classroom, murmured gloomily and gave Chen Nan the middle finger.

Unfortunately, Chen Nan did not see him at all.

Although Zhu Bajie was corpulent, with Han Yuting and Huo Xinya, two beauties from the school blocking his view, few boys in the class could notice this chubby guy. After all, these two beauties were indeed very eye-catching.

The exam started, and Han Yuting was distracted throughout, with only one thought on her mind—where to get half a million?

At noon, she had received a call from her mother, saying that the creditors had unexpectedly visited her home to collect the debts and had smashed everything in their house, and they even threatened that if the money wasn’t paid by tomorrow, they would take Han Yuting to the brothel to work off the debt until it was fully repaid. They also warned that if the police were called, they would kill her entire family.

Han Yuting had hurriedly left at noon to go home.

At this moment, her mind was in chaos; she truly did not know where to get that half-million. Did she really have to sacrifice her pure body to Xiao Jianren in exchange for the half-million?

She was not willing to do so; she still wanted to preserve her pure body for her prince charming.

What to do?

What should I really do?

Han Yuting clutched her pen, no longer in the mood to answer the questions. After thirty minutes, she carelessly filled in a few multiple-choice questions before handing in her paper early and leaving the classroom.

Sitting in the classroom, the more she thought about it, the more confused she became, so she decided to go to Green Square on campus to clear her mind, hoping to come up with a good solution.

Seeing that Han Yuting had actually handed in her paper, the other students were quite surprised.

Han Yuting was hardworking and excelled academically, everyone in the senior year knew her. She always ranked among the top in every exam, though she was slightly behind Huo Xinya, the talented school beauty, but not by much.

Chen Nan had also intended to hand in his paper early and go out to check on her, but just then, Lan Yuqin was making rounds outside the classroom, which made him reluctantly dismiss the idea.

If he handed in a blank paper early and Lan Yuqin saw it, Chen Nan dared not imagine how dreadful his fate would be.

...

After leaving the teaching building, Han Yuting went straight to Green Square.

Alone, she lay on the grass, looking up at the blue sky and white clouds, and kept asking herself over and over, what should she do?

Suddenly, the buzzing vibration of her phone startled her, and she quickly took it out. Instantly, Han Yuting’s entire body shuddered, and her face turned pale.
