School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 291: Chapter 331: A Beauty Looking for Trouble

”Just don’t overeat yourself to death, otherwise, I’d have no way to explain to your sister,” Chen Nan said with a smile.

”Hmph!”

Su Qingqing pursed her lips and dragged Chen Nan toward the western-style restaurant.

If it were an ordinary middle school, there wouldn’t be western food in the cafeteria, but Yutan Middle School is a privately-held joint-stock aristocratic institution. Apart from some academically outstanding students from impoverished families, the rest are wealthy heirs; thus, the cafeteria’s standards are deliberately elevated, offering a variety of dishes, both Chinese and Western.

”I’ll have a serving of French seared foie gras, one sirloin steak, one black pepper steak, one filet mignon, one Chateaubriand, one super hot dog, and one...”

”Hey, are you sure you can finish all that?”

As they approached the western food counter, Su Qingqing rattled off her order non-stop, causing Chen Nan to break out in a cold sweat and hastily interrupt her.

”I can eat it all!” Su Qingqing puffed out her cheeks, giving him a look, ”Are you reluctant to pay?”

Chen Nan wasn’t as poor as before; he could easily afford the bill, even if it included a hundred more items. He shrugged and said, ”Then just order whatever you want, just don’t stuff yourself to death.”

Su Qingqing scratched her head, a bit puzzled. Wasn’t this guy really poor? Why was he so generous all of a sudden?

Touching her stomach, she said, ”Never mind, just these will do.”

”Okay, please wait a moment.”

After they returned to their table and sat down, Su Qingqing felt somewhat glum.

She had thought that by overordering, Chen Nan would show some weakness due to the financial pain, but to her surprise, he didn’t seem to mind at all and even encouraged her to order more dishes.

Why was that?

Scratching her head, Su Qingqing looked at Chen Nan: ”Dummy, did you strike it rich or something?”

”Not really, but your sister gave me last month’s salary,” Chen Nan said smiling. As for the two million he extorted from others, he would die before admitting it; extortion wasn’t something one would want to announce publicly.

Realization dawned on Su Qingqing. It was her sister who had paid him, ”How much did she give you?”

”You want to know, huh?” Chen Nan chuckled mischievously, ”I’m not going to tell you.”

”You!”

Su Qingqing rubbed her delicate White Jade Fingers, about to pinch Chen Nan, but at that moment, he pointed towards the western-style restaurant: ”They’re serving your dish, get ready to eat.”

Sticking out her little tongue at him, Su Qingqing watched as the waiter brought over the steak and started eating it with a fork and knife.

”Don’t gulp it down like that, big school beauty, mind your image!” Chen Nan touched his chin, sitting beside her with a smile.

Su Qingqing pouted, ”Hmph, I’ll eat fiercely. I want to eat so much it hurts you to watch!”

”Even if you overate to death, I wouldn’t feel bad.”

Chen Nan shook his head with a wry smile and then picked up the buns he had bought earlier and started eating them in big bites.

Gradually, the dishes that Su Qingqing ordered one by one arrived at the table. She hadn’t finished the first steak, and the other five dishes were already served.

For a petite girl like Su Qingqing, her appetite was naturally small.

She had already eaten two eggs and a cake earlier, and was already seven parts full. After finishing the first steak, she could barely swallow any more, feeling unbearably stuffed!

Looking at the other five dishes on the table, Su Qingqing regretted her decision.

Chen Nan wasn’t aching about the money, but now her own stomach was uncomfortably full. If she finished all of it, she could really burst!

She moved the portion of sirloin steak over, and Su Qingqing cut off a small piece, forked it into her mouth, and stared at Chen Nan with eager eyes, ”Dummy, are you still hungry?”

Chen Nan let out a satisfied burp, ”I’m full, just right.”

”Then... do you want to eat some more?” Su Qingqing asked weakly.

”What? Can’t you finish it?”

”No, I can finish it, I’m just worried you might be hungry, since you’re my cousin and all, I care about you!” Su Qingqing felt her words were too insincere as even she could see the obviousness of not being able to finish it and yet wanting someone to help her out while making it sound so sophisticated.

Chen Nan was well aware of her little ploys and sighed. ”Ah, but I really am full, my dear cousin. You should eat more, you’re still growing, and you definitely shouldn’t starve yourself.”

Growth...

Su Qingqing glanced at her chest subconsciously, ”You idiot, what are you implying, that I haven’t developed properly?”

”No... nothing like that, just take your time eating, you have to finish all of this, we can’t waste food,” Chen Nan said cheerfully, lighting a cigarette and puffing away beside her.

Looking forlorn, Su Qingqing forced down another half of the steak before she couldn’t eat any further and looked imploringly at Chen Nan, ”Dummy cousin, I... I...”

”What’s wrong? It’s not enough for you? Should we order a few more dishes?”

”No, no, no!” Su Qingqing was on the verge of tears, ”I... I can’t eat anymore, can you help me eat some of it?”

Chen Nan glared, ”You were the one who wanted to order all this, and now you can’t finish it? Isn’t that a waste of food? Wasting is shameful, you know. As an educated person, you should be aware of how hard it is to come by food. There are still some poor areas that haven’t even solved the problem of having enough to eat. How can you waste like this, can your conscience even take it? You...”

”Cousin, I was wrong...”

Su Qingqing, feeling remorseful from Chen Nan’s reprimand, pitifully interrupted him.

”Just ’I was wrong’ and that’s it? What about all these dishes you ordered, what are we going to do now?” Chen Nan wasn’t letting her off easy: deservedly so for having been tricked by this little rascal.

With a face full of grievance, Su Qingqing pleaded, ”Then... will you help me eat some?”

”I’m already full.”

”Dummy, please help me out.”

”Sorry, I’m helpless here.”

Su Qingqing blinked, then hugged Chen Nan’s arm and gave it a little shake, ”Nice cousin, I know you’re the best, just help me eat a little, please?”

”You should’ve said so earlier.”

Chen Nan grinned and stuffed a piece of the steak into his mouth, his manner of eating was practically like that of a bandit.

Su Qingqing was speechless; after all the fuss, this guy just wanted her to beg him to eat.

After demolishing the remaining food, Chen Nan went to pay the bill, which totaled more than two hundred yuan.

Because the meal had taken quite a while, by the time they arrived at the teaching building, there were only a few minutes left before class.

”Chen Nan, get in here!”

The voice of Lan Yuqin, loaded with fury, came through. She stood at the office door, glaring fiercely at Chen Nan.

Chen Nan frowned. Hadn’t he resolved the mistake he made yesterday with her last night? Why was she looking for him again today?

”Teacher, what’s the matter?”

As soon as Chen Nan approached, he was grabbed by Lan Yuqin and dragged into the office. She pointed angrily at a laptop on the desk, ”Look at this news on the internet for yourself. What good deeds have you done?!”
