School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 275: Chapter 315 What a Letdown!

All the students in the class turned their heads and cast their eyes toward Huo Xinya and Su Qingqing.

Both school beauties had excellent grades, especially in Chinese literature, where they had previously achieved perfect scores.

Without a doubt, in the eyes of many classmates, the super scholar who scored 155 on the Chinese test had to be one of them. As to which one, no one knew.

Only Su Qingqing and Huo Xinya knew in their hearts that it definitely wasn’t them.

Because their essays were not written in classical Chinese. Writing an 800-word essay in classical Chinese in such a short time was beyond their capabilities.

Lan Yuqin glanced around the class and smiled, ”This student, who created a miracle, is...”

”Class president!”

”Su Qingqing!”

”...”

Many students started shouting.

However, Lan Yuqin just smiled and shook her head, then revealed a name that surprised everyone: ”Chen Nan.”

Instantly, the classroom fell dead silent.

Especially Huo Xinya and Zhu Bajie, who had been in the same classroom as Chen Nan during the test and were both visibly shocked. Chen Nan had only taken half an hour to finish his exam, and he had managed not only a perfect score... but more than that!

”What a freak, big brother!”

Zhu Bajie slapped himself to make sure he wasn’t dreaming, then couldn’t help but exclaim.

The other classmates also had their jaws drop to the floor, staring at Chen Nan incredulously, as if he were a monster.

In their eyes, Chen Nan was a poor student, a complete dummy.

Yet, now this dummy had created a miracle, a miracle that exceeded the perfect score! How could they remain calm, how could they not be astonished!

”Damn, playing dumb to catch smart, huh!”

”This guy is awesome!”

Listening to the murmurs around the class, Chen Nan smiled and turned to Su Qingqing, ”Remember our bet from yesterday? If I got a perfect score, you wouldn’t make me carry you anymore, and you mustn’t renege.”

Su Qingqing came back to her senses and rubbed her temples, ”With such a difficult test, how did you manage it?”

”Because, cousin, I am the legendary talent,” Chen Nan boasted with a smile. ”Don’t change the subject. From now on, I won’t carry you anymore, and you can’t climb onto my back anymore, okay?”

Su Qingqing’s face was full of gloom; she missed having Chen Nan’s broad shoulders to lean on!

What should she do? She couldn’t let him stop carrying her!

Su Qingqing scratched her head and then suddenly had an idea, giggled and said, ”Right, I did say that. But you didn’t just get a perfect score, you went beyond it, so I win the bet.”

Chen Nan glared, ”What kind of logic is that?”

”Legendary Qingqing logic.”

Chen Nan slapped his forehead, somewhat speechlessly said, ”My dear lady, you’re just being sneaky. ”

”I’m not being sneaky, who let you score more than perfect!” Su Qingqing pouted her small lips, cheerfully continuing, ”You lost the bet. Whenever I want you to carry me, you have to, and if you don’t, you’re the one being sneaky. A man should keep his word, you know.”

Chen Nan felt an urge to bang his head against the wall; why would those language teachers add those extra five points unnecessarily? A straight 150 was enough!

Looking at Chen Nan’s dejected face, Su Qingqing patted his shoulder, ”Oh, silly cousin, fair is fair; don’t look so down. I mean, I’m quite a beauty, isn’t it so hard to carry me?”

”It’s tough, tough to the extreme!”

”Hehe, good, seeing you this tormented really brightens my mood.”

Chen Nan gritted his teeth: ”You little devil!”

”Cursing me is no use, you have to carry me because you lost.”

Su Qingqing chuckled merrily, seemingly forgetting they were in the middle of class, which caused Lan Yuqin on the podium to frown, ”Su Qingqing, what are you laughing at during class? Stand up, you’re going to stand for ten minutes as punishment!”

Su Qingqing instantly wore a face full of misery, sticking her little tongue out at Chen Nan before obediently standing up.

”My dear cousin, you’ve brought all this upon yourself, don’t blame me,” Chen Nan whispered, and just then Lan Yuqin called his name, causing him to hurriedly get up to collect his test paper.

Looking at Chen Nan in front of her, Lan Yuqin recalled the last time in her dormitory, when Chen Nan claimed he could score full marks. She hadn’t believed him at that time, yet he had really managed to achieve it...

Especially after grading the papers, Lan Yuqin had specifically reviewed Chen Nan’s essay again, admitting to herself that Chen Nan truly was exceptionally talented. That classical Chinese essay he wrote was beyond what she, as a teacher, felt confident to produce!

Not only his handwriting was good, but his literary flair was even better!

”Keep it up!”

Handing over the test paper to Chen Nan, Lan Yuqin smiled with some relief.

Chen Nan nodded, taking the test paper back to his seat.

...

Chen Nan scoring one hundred fifty-five in Chinese spread like a ferocious storm through the school within less than an hour, sweeping across the campus via the school forum and becoming common knowledge among all faculty and students.

The title of super scholar spread spontaneously.

After the second period, as soon as the bell rang, Su Qingqing darted out of the classroom, running off to who-knows-where.

”That cheeky little girl, since when has she been so eager to do the break exercises?”

Scratching his head, Chen Nan walked towards the athletic field with Zhu Bajie and Zhang Jiangyi.

”Big bro, that’s so disloyal of you, scoring so well in Chinese and not even sharing the answers with me!” Zhu Bajie complained, looking glum.

Chen Nan glanced at him, ”If I’m not mistaken, we made a bet after the last exam. You said if I could score full marks within thirty minutes, you’d go eat **** in the restroom. Isn’t it time you kept your promise?”

”This... this...”

Zhu Bajie suddenly looked ashen.

****! To eat ****!

This was no ordinary bet, how could he possibly fulfill it?

”Bro, we’re brothers after all, let’s not be so harsh, shall we?” Zhu Bajie said, wiping his sweat.

Zhang Jiangyi burst out laughing, ”Come on, Fatty, you’re still trying to cheat in front of big bro?”

Chen Nan also nodded, ”Bajie, brotherly love is fine, but you still have to eat that ****. After all, a man’s word is his bond.”

”I... I...”

Zhu Bajie stuttered, trying to think of some excuse to wiggle out of it when suddenly, two four-year-old kids ran towards them.

”Daddy, we finally found you!”

The two kids threw themselves at Chen Nan, each grabbing one of his legs and bursting into tears.

Chen Nan was stunned. What was this all about?

”I say, kids, you must have mistaken me for someone else, right?”

”No, Daddy, you can’t abandon us, you left Mom, and now Mom doesn’t want us either. Please don’t send us away, we haven’t eaten for two days.” The two little ones clung to Chen Nan’s legs, refusing to let go.

Students rushing to do break exercises gathered around, looking at Chen Nan with eyes full of shock.

He... he had sons?

Elsewhere, under another tree, Jiang Xiaomi and Su Qingqing wore cunning smiles on their faces.
