Chapter 549: Chapter 286: Planning December’s Future (Part 3)

”Let the influx of fans from this wave of traffic first get to know the adorable side of December, so that we can keep their attention and turn them into loyal fans of December.”

Scoot’s eyes were filled with excitement! He could already foresee the terrifying commercial value and influence this plan would generate once it succeeded.

”Lin, this is a... genius idea, but are you sure you can find a polar bear without legal controversy?”

Lin Yu’an’s voice lowered: ”This is what I have to tell you; this perfect plan has now hit a huge obstacle.”

He recounted to Scoot the current predicament facing December: severe depression, anorexia, and the rigid stance of Canada on the ’ownership’ issue, all in detail.

Lin Yu’an stated his ultimate goal: ”So, I need to do more than just sing at Bieber’s concert.”

”I need to show a touching video of how I met and accompanied December on the big screen behind me while performing the song ’Beautiful Things.’”

”I want the whole world to fall in love with this little guy. I want it to become a princess guarded by global fans that no one dares to harm easily.”

”I want to apply an irresistible public pressure on Canada through this method, to move the needle on December’s custody.”

On the other end of the phone, Scoot fell into a prolonged silence, his mind rapidly assessing the risks and benefits.

Having Justin Bieber, a Canadian citizen, publicly opposing the Government of Canada? It sounds like a gamble where one misstep could label him as unpatriotic, causing backlash.

But Scoot quickly overturned this initial judgment, keenly realizing that the point of entry Lin Yu’an chose was indeed a high-risk, high-reward opportunity!

First of all, the apparent core of this issue isn’t political but about love and protection, saving a dying polar bear cub. This is a universal human emotion that transcends borders, a moral high ground.

The Government of Canada naturally lacks a strong ground in this matter. Moreover, Scoot is betting that they wouldn’t dare confront an explosive amount of public opinion.

They might be tough on a scientist, but they absolutely wouldn’t dare to be tough on billions of young and passionate fans. Especially on environmental and animal protection issues, any rigidity would be perceived as cold-blooded and arrogant, leading to political disaster.

Even better, Justin himself is Canadian. His involvement wouldn’t be seen as foreign interference but rather as an honest Canadian kid challenging the rigid bureaucratic system to protect his country’s precious heritage.

This wouldn’t make him lose fans; it would make his persona even richer and full of heroism! Fans who are also Canadians would just think their idol is incredibly cool, and their loyalty would strengthen like never before!

There are risks... but they are completely controllable.

As for the benefits? Scoot’s breath started to quicken as he saw an immeasurably vast blue ocean!

After a while, he spoke in a voice full of excitement and determination: ”Lin, you crazy genius... I love this plan of yours!”

”Leave this to me to plan! I’ll use CAA’s top PR and production team.”

”For the video, we’ll edit it into a masterpiece comparable to an Oscar-winning documentary short!”

”The stage effects will be the most stunning! I promise that on that night, the whole world will cry for the story of you and your daughter!”

Scoot’s voice was filled with the extreme excitement of a top operator who had found the next big breaking point of the era.

”Do you have any idea how genius your plan is? This is not just simple artist philanthropy; it’s a major event of political correctness linking the whole entertainment industry in Europe and America!”

”Do you know the most popular tags in Hollywood right now? It’s environmental protection and animal rights!”

”So, once your plan kicks off, it won’t be just Justin responding! Leonardo DiCaprio, Joaquin Phoenix...”

”All top stars who are passionate about environmental causes will be drawn to your real, touching, and heroic story!”

”And you, Lin Yu’an, will become the perfect guardian of December in their eyes!”

Lin Yu’an affirmed Scoot’s professional judgment, ”Scoot, communicating with you is a relief, so now I need you to fire the first bullet for me.”

”What bullet?”

”I need Justin Bieber to tweet something within ten minutes.”

”The content is simple: a love and protection surprise, next month at Madison Square Garden, me and my brother @Lin Yu’an, see you there.”

On the other end of the phone, Scoot immediately understood.

This is not a warm-up; it’s a challenge!

He wants to show Canada just how sharp the sword of public opinion he wields with Justin’s billions of global fans is!

”Five minutes.” Scoot gave an even quicker time, ”Lin, wait for my good news.”

After hanging up the phone, Max’s beautiful blue eyes were still filled with shock and disbelief.

”Lin, are you sure Justin Bieber would be willing to use his global influence to confront his own country for you? He’s Canadian, after all. The risk is too big for him, and if it’s not handled well, it could even affect his career.”

In Max’s view, even the best of friends might hesitate when entangled in such a significant political and public opinion whirlpool. This was beyond the scope of ordinary friendship.

But the smile on Lin Yu’an’s face didn’t diminish at all; instead, it grew a bit more playful. He turned to Max and said in a relaxed and confident tone, ”He will, Max. One hundred percent.”

”After all, besides our friendship, he also has tens of millions of US Dollars tied up in GEM stock. Without my news, I can’t guarantee that money can safely come out at the highest point.”

This piece of information instantly frozen Max again, making her realize that Lin Yu’an’s courage to save December wasn’t just from compassion, but also from his confidence in his ability to leverage capital markets!

The relationship between him and Justin Bieber wasn’t just friendship but a community of mutual interest.

Seeing Max’s expression shocked again, he dropped the joking demeanor and spoke in a gentle and firm tone: ”Don’t worry, this isn’t just for me, it’s for a rightful story. Scoot and Justin know what to do.”

”All the pieces of the puzzle are in place, now what we need to do is wait. They will come to us on their own.”
