King of the Wilderness

Chapter 501: Chapter 275: Choosing the Farm! (Lots of Pictures, Must See~~)

A river broader and more turbulent than the Yellowstone River surged through, with massive rocks on the riverbanks that had been worn by the current for millions of years.

In the corner of the photograph, a majestic elk standing nearly two meters tall at the shoulder, with immense antlers, could be seen standing proudly by the riverbank. One could feel its powerful life energy even through the screen.

”This is so cool too!” Aliya excitedly seized back the conversation, ”Blackfoot River territory, located east of Missoula, covering 2,200 acres.”

”Have you watched Brad Pitt’s legendary film ’A River Romance’? The poetic, picturesque fly fishing scenes in that movie were shot right here!”

”It boasts three miles of private water along the Blackfoot River, where the cutthroat trout is the ultimate dream for fly fishing enthusiasts in all of America!”

She enlarged a professional topographic map marked with red, blue, and green dots indicating various symbols, ”Plus, this map is a wildlife observation record provided by the seller. The red dots represent bear activities, blue ones are for elk, and green are for white-tailed deer.”

”Look, over 90% of this is undeveloped forest and mountains, virtually a private national park! The agent said that every year the ranch gets several top-tier hunting quotas from the Fish and Game Department.”

”This totally aligns with your wilderness requirements! You could even teach our children how to track and hunt here.”

These words precisely struck the heart of Lin Yu’an.

Emily calmly pointed out the issue, pulling up a photo of the main house, which was a solitary A-frame wooden cabin from the seventies style, sitting alone by the riverside forest. Although well-maintained, its design was completely outdated.

”But its living facilities are very old; it would require at least two million US Dollars for a major renovation. Look, it still uses an electric stove in the kitchen, and the windows are not double-glazed.”

”Moreover, its terrain is too rugged, with hardly any flat land usable for farming or grazing, so the convenience of living is much lesser. It’s a one-and-a-half-hour drive to the nearest Whole Foods Market. It’s too primitive here...”

The third farm was Pingtou Lake Estate, priced at 14 million dollars.

In the photos, a luxuriously modern wooden house with three-story high large glass windows, looking like a piece of art sitting on the hillside, overlooking a vast and sapphire-like large lake.

Moored on the lake was a beautiful classic Italian Riva speedboat made of mahogany.

This time, it was Amy’s turn to introduce, and clearly, this option more suited her aesthetics.

”This is the most balanced one, located on the east shore of Pingtou Lake, the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi River. The estate covers 800 acres, the smallest of the three.”

”But it has over a mile of private lake shoreline and two private deepwater docks. In the summer, we can sail, waterski, and enjoy all the fun of water sports here.”

”The main house was designed by a renowned Seattle architect, over 10,000 square feet, featuring an infinity pool, a temperature-controlled wine cellar that can hold 200 bottles, a home theater with a Dolby Atmos system, and a professional gym.”

”All the furniture is custom-made, ready for move-in. And it’s close to Kalispell City, with rich shopping, medical, and educational resources, plus there’s a decent private airport.”

Aliya pouted, pointing out what she didn’t like: ”But it feels more like a lakeside vacation villa than a farm. 800 acres of land, mostly slopes. Aside from being pretty, it’s just pretty. A bit... pretentious.”

Lin Yu’an listened intently to their analysis, looking at the stunning photos on the tablet, yet feeling a sense of... dissatisfaction.

Each option seemed like a character with clear advantages and disadvantages, unable to perfectly align with all his future visions.

”They’re all great.” He smiled, affirming the hard work of his partners, pulling them into an embrace, ”Your analysis is very professional, and each could become our dream home.”

He paused, then looked up, his eyes sparkling with a light that was both unfamiliar and exciting to them.

”But... don’t you think they’re somewhat small?”

”Small?” Aliya was stunned, ”One or two thousand acres still small? Darling, this is already the standard for top-tier wealthy people!”

”That was yesterday’s standard, darling.” Lin Yu’an’s tone carried a trace of confidence and boldness that arose naturally after overseeing immense wealth.

”How much did we just make? 290 million US Dollars! Why should we confine our dreams to a ten million dollar framework?”

These words opened a new world, causing both Aliya and Emily to have a delayed realization. Yes, their thinking was still on the level of millionaires, while the man before them had already elevated their family’s assets to the billion level.

”So... what do you mean?” Emily tentatively asked.

Lin Yu’an gently swiped away the three options on the tablet, his gaze becoming incredibly profound.

”I mean, we can have it all. We want the convenience and operable ranch of Paradise Valley, the pristine wilderness and top-tier river of the Blackfoot River, and the magnificent lake view and utmost comfort of Pingtou Lake.”
