King of the Wilderness

Chapter 526: Chapter 282: Plane Delivered! Takeoff!

He admitted calmly, ”Yes, and the conditions he offered were indeed so generous that no one could refuse.”

Then, he recounted Daniel Hansen’s grand vision regarding nationality, F-22s, and family security, in its entirety, with a light tone.

Even though they had great confidence in him, upon hearing promises filled with honor, top fighter jets, and lifelong security, they couldn’t help but gasp.

It was indeed a broad avenue leading to the pinnacle in the worldly sense, dazzling enough to make any man’s blood boil.

The atmosphere in the restaurant instantly became somewhat stagnant.

The flames in the fireplace crackled, yet couldn’t dispel the intangible pressure in the air.

Emily subconsciously touched her abdomen, her voice carrying a tremor she herself hadn’t noticed, ”So... what is your decision?”

Aliya also held her breath, her heart in her throat. They feared hearing the unwanted answer, and even more feared seeing a trace of regret or struggle on his face.

”I refused.”

Lin Yu’an’s response was just three words, crisp and decisive, like a sword cutting through all the fog.

The tightly gripped knuckles of Emily instantly relaxed, and the heart Aliya had been holding dropped heavily back into her chest.

Lin Yu’an watched the instant glow in their eyes, his gaze becoming indescribably gentle and firm.

He continued speaking, as if inscribing his deepest convictions into their lives, word by word.

”I told him, my sky does not lie within the borders of any national military.”

His gaze swept over Aliya and Emily’s faces in turn, solemnly saying, ”I learned to fly, fought with all my effort to master it, not to conquer anyone, and not to pledge allegiance to anyone.”

”I only did it so that I could take the most important people in my life, wherever we want to go, to see any scenery we want to see, anytime, anywhere.”

Finally, his gaze fixed on their joined hands, speaking the ultimate vow: ”Dear Aliya, Emily. My sky is only with you.”

These words, like the warmest flood, instantly broke down the last trace of defense built by reason in their hearts.

Aliya instantly felt a sense of relief after shedding all burdens. Emily also took a deep breath, gently placing her other hand on the back of Lin Yu’an’s hand, everything understood without words.

Amidst this warm and moving atmosphere, Lin Yu’an’s phone, which had remained silent on the dining table, suddenly lit up.

It was an encrypted email from Brian Lorde.

Lin Yu’an’s eyebrows slightly raised, making a gesture to both of them, then opened the email. The content of the email was concise and domineering, full of Brian’s unique style.

”Lin, your aircraft has arrived. —B.L.”

Below the email was attached a video file and a PDF document.

”The aircraft arrived?” Aliya curiously leaned over, resting her head on his shoulder, ”He... he really sent it?”

Lin Yu’an opened the video.

The video began inside a huge, bright hangar so clean it reflected light.

The camera slowly panned past rows of white private jets like Gulfstreams and Bombardiers, finally stopping at the center of the hangar, where a behemoth colored as bright as a sunbird stood.

It was a de Havilland Beaver DHC-2.

But it was different from any Beaver Lin Yu’an had seen in materials.

(Original)

Its fuselage had been painted in an extremely eye-catching bright yellow, like the autumn birch forests of Alaska, filled with vitality and the call of the wilderness.

A wide red stripe, like flames, stretched from the nose to the tail, outlining incredibly smooth and dynamic lines.

The nose section, where red and yellow paint blended seamlessly, formed a powerful V-shaped pattern.

This aircraft was destined to be the absolute focal point wherever it was parked.

The camera slowly turned towards its nose. The large circular cowling that originally belonged to the piston engine was long gone.

Replaced by a more slender, streamlined Pratt & Whitney PT6A-34 turboprop engine.

The sharp silver spinner of the propeller looked like a raptor’s beak, full of aggression. Meanwhile, the five-blade composite propeller shimmered with the unique deep luster of carbon fiber under the lights.

The camera continued to move, showcasing its details. It wasn’t equipped with traditional wheeled landing gear but firmly stood on a pair of silver-gray Wipaire 3450 amphibious floats.

The front ends of the floats, where the wheels were housed, indicated that it could land on both water and runways, making it a truly all-terrain aircraft!

The video’s camera then pushed toward the cockpit.

The door opened, and inside it no longer housed the old mechanical dashboard, but a massive Garmin G1000 NXi glass cockpit system like a fighter jet’s cockpit.

Displaying complex virtual terrain and flight data, the seats were handcrafted by Italy’s top brand Poltrona Frau using the finest Alcantara fabric.

Luxurious, powerful, and striking. This was not just an aircraft; it was a vibrant piece of art that could fly.

”My God...” Aliya couldn’t help but exclaim, covering her mouth with her hand, ”It’s so beautiful! Like a big bumblebee!”
