The Rebirth of the Fierce Little Cute Girl

Chapter 182: Chapter 182: Meeting Again

Tingyu walked with Yiyi for a long time and picked up several beautiful small shells for her.

”Yiyi, what do you like to eat? I’ll grill it for you first.”

Seeing Tingyu’s skillful movements, Yiyi watched him with a smile on her face, then pointed at the clams and said, ”I like eating clams.”

”Alright, I’ll grill them for you.”

Tingyu moved quickly, handing the grilled clams to Yiyi as soon as they were ready, letting her eat first.

Yiyi took the clams, glanced up at Tingyu with a smile, and instead of eating herself, she picked up a piece of clam meat and brought it to Tingyu’s mouth, saying, ”You taste it first.”

The chopsticks were unused, so she gave him the first bite.

Tingyu saw the earnest anticipation in the young girl’s eyes and ate it directly, saying naturally, ”It’s delicious.” However, the tips of his ears quietly turned red.

Upon hearing this, Yiyi smiled happily, quickly picked up another pair of chopsticks to eat on her own, and casually handed the first pair to Tingyu.

At this moment, Tingyu couldn’t quite explain how he felt inside; he only sensed a bit of a small letdown. He had thought the young girl would eat directly with those chopsticks.

Realizing what he was thinking, Tingyu couldn’t help but laugh at himself for longing for intimacy with the young girl.

”What’s the matter? Do you want more?”

Seeing Tingyu’s expression, Yiyi thought he wanted more and instinctively picked up another piece of razor clam meat to give to him.

Seeing this, Tingyu slightly curled his mouth in a smile and quickly ate the razor clam meat, saying, ”It’s delicious.”

At this point, Yiyi finally realized that she just used those chopsticks, and felt a bit embarrassed, ”I’ll use your chopsticks instead.”

”It’s alright.”

Tingyu said with a smile in his eyes, looking directly at Yiyi.

Suddenly being looked at like this, Yiyi felt a little embarrassed and quickly lowered her head to continue eating.

Noticing the young girl’s shyness, Tingyu’s face was warm, his eyes filled with affection, and he continued grilling with earnest.

Tingyu’s grilling skills were indeed impressive. Yiyi ate quite a bit and felt her stomach becoming round, ”Ah... I’m so full.”

Seeing the young girl satisfied with her meal, Tingyu felt a great sense of accomplishment, ”Seeing you enjoy it so much, I’ll grill for you again if we get a chance next time.”

”Sure.”

Yiyi nodded happily.

It was getting late; the distant sky was already filled with evening glow, ”Yiyi, let me walk you home.” As he spoke, Tingyu had already packed up their things.

The two then leisurely headed home.

When Yiyi got home, Yue Jun and Er Ya had already returned. Tingyu politely greeted them.

Ding Yuejun was glad to see Tingyu, ”Xiao Gu, would you like to come in and sit for a while?”

At her suggestion, Tingyu nodded directly, and after entering the door, he started chatting with Yue Jun. It wasn’t until it got late that he finally took his leave.

Seeing this, Yiyi quickly stood up and escorted Tingyu out.

Ding Yuejun saw her daughter doing this and couldn’t help but shake her head. However, there was no disapproval in her expression. Tingyu was indeed a nice young man, and with Yiyi’s college entrance exams being over and her fondness for him, as a mother, she had no reason to object.

On the other side, after Yiyi saw Tingyu to the door, she waved her hand.

However, Tingyu felt a bit reluctant; he gently touched Yiyi’s hair and then asked, ”What would you like to have for breakfast tomorrow? I’ll bring it over for you.”

Upon hearing this, Yiyi’s eyes lit up and she replied, ”I want pancakes, fritters, and sweet soy milk.”

”Alright, I’ll buy these for you tomorrow morning. But... after having breakfast with you, I’ll have to leave.”

This visit was due to a task that brought him here, so he could see Yiyi. He didn’t know when he could meet her again afterward.

Hearing this, Yiyi also felt very reluctant.

But she understood the nature of Tingyu’s work, so she didn’t say much, just reminded him, ”Be careful in everything you do.”

Tingyu knew that this was the young girl caring for him, so he smiled and nodded, saying, ”Don’t worry, I’ve got it.”

The next day, Tingyu came over early with breakfast. He bought pancakes, fritters, and sweet soy milk for Yiyi, white rice porridge, red bean buns, and beef patties for Ding Yuejun, and milk buns and fried noodles for Er Ya.

He himself chose the same breakfast as Yiyi, having pancakes, fritters, and sweet soy milk.

Seeing that Tingyu bought so much, Ding Yuejun quickly said, ”Xiao Gu, why did you buy so much?”

”Aunt Ding, I wasn’t sure what you would like to eat, so I bought a bit more. Please go ahead and eat.”

Seeing how thoughtful Tingyu was, Ding Yuejun was naturally very pleased.

Tingyu couldn’t help but suggest, ”Aunt Ding, you could just call me Tingyu.”

Upon hearing this, Ding Yuejun readily agreed and called him ’Tingyu’.

The change in address made them feel much closer.

After breakfast was over, Tingyu left.

Initially, Yiyi felt a bit down, but she quickly regained her composure and went out with Er Ya; they needed to buy some travel essentials.

”Er Ya, I think that dress will suit you.”

Yiyi pointed to a floral long dress, feeling it would suit Er Ya and insisted she try it on.

Er Ya immediately waved her hand, saying, ”No need, Yiyi, I have enough clothes and don’t need more dresses. We should quickly check on towels and toothbrushes, the essentials for our trip.” They were there to buy these necessities after all.

”Er Ya, you should try it on. Since we’re heading to the seaside, wearing such a long dress would definitely be beautiful, and it’ll even elevate your mood,” Yiyi said as she directly pushed Er Ya into the fitting room.

Seeing no way out, Er Ya had no choice but to try on the dress.

When she emerged, Yiyi couldn’t help but be momentarily stunned. She had always known Er Ya was beautiful, but since Er Ya didn’t usually dress up for school, Yiyi hadn’t particularly noticed before. Now, wearing such an ethereal long dress, Er Ya’s appearance was significantly enhanced, ”Er Ya, you look really nice in that.”

Looking at her reflection, Er Ya couldn’t quite believe it herself—did she really suit long dresses this well?

But seeing the price she just glanced at, she wanted to take it off immediately, ”Yiyi, it’s just okay, I’ll go change out of it.”

”No need, just wear this dress.”

Yiyi, knowing that Er Ya felt embarrassed, quickly paid for it.

”Yiyi.”

Seeing Yiyi’s quick actions, Er Ya was somewhat helpless.

”Yiyi, you haven’t even bought anything for yourself yet, and you’re already buying for me.”

Upon hearing this, Yiyi promptly said, ”I will buy something for myself too. Let’s look up ahead.”

After strolling for a bit, Yiyi also took a liking to a goose yellow outfit, but when she went to pay, she realized someone had already paid for it.

”Young lady, we meet again.”
