Apocalyptic Disaster: I Hoard Billions in Supplies and Kill the Saint

54: Chapter 54 Full Preparation for WarNovember 23, 2037, Tianlang Mountain Base · Command Center

Dawn light spilled down, and the entire base operated in an orderly fashion in the cold morning light.

In front of the Command Center’s projection screen, Shen Qingyan held a remote control, reporting the base’s existing equipment list with a solemn expression. However, halfway through the report, she couldn’t help but glance at Ye Nanxing, who was sitting in the main seat, her eyes filled with complexity.

She still couldn’t understand how this batch of weapons and equipment... had been brought back at all?!

Just two days ago, Ye Nanxing had suddenly announced that she was going on a long trip herself.

When she returned, the base’s supply warehouse was suddenly filled with a large batch of contraband—large-caliber anti-materiel sniper rifles, shoulder-fired anti-aircraft missiles, active-duty US military weapons, military-grade drones... even Stinger missiles and Javelin anti-tank missiles were prominently listed!

And what shocked Shen Qingyan the most was—she had even brought back an F-35B stealth fighter!

How the hell was this transported back?!

”You didn’t...” Shen Qingyan had looked at this batch of equipment at the time, an unbelievable guess popping into her mind, ”You didn’t rob some US military base, did you?”

Ye Nanxing smiled without answering, merely saying casually: ”Bought it.”

”...Bought it?” Shen Qingyan’s mouth twitched, ”Are you kidding me? How could you possibly get an F-35B from the US?”

Ye Nanxing smiled faintly and said casually: ”Of course I have connections.”

”The point isn’t how it was bought, the point is how it was brought back.”

Shen Qingyan swallowed hard, thinking of a possibility—

The few days Ye Nanxing had mysteriously disappeared before might have been related to the transport of this cargo. Moreover, her method of transporting goods far exceeded conventional means!

Otherwise, even if she had bought these contraband items, it would have been impossible to transport them all back within a few days.

And the equipment displayed in the base was only a part of it!

Thinking of this, Shen Qingyan couldn’t help but look at Ye Nanxing again, her eyes complex.

This woman... how many more secrets does she have?

Shen Qingyan forced herself to collect her thoughts, took a deep breath, and continued the report:

These are the current stocks of the base, not including the stockpiles in Ye Nanxing’s space.

Shen Qingyan opened another report and continued:

”Currently, the total population of the base is 472, including 72 guards, and the rest are scientific researchers, logistics support personnel, and their families.”

Ye Nanxing nodded slightly, signaling her to continue.

”Considering the sustainable development of the base, we have adjusted the personnel allocation, increasing agricultural planting personnel and reducing some scientific research and medical personnel to ensure self-sufficiency in food supply.”

Military Defense Group (Guard Team) — 72 people. First line of defense (base perimeter patrol): 20 people, divided into 4 teams, patrolling in 24-hour shifts. Second line of defense (internal base security): 20 people, responsible for internal security, entrance/exit checks, warehouse guarding, etc. Mobile Combat Team (Emergency Team): 15 people, the most elite combat personnel trained, on standby at all times. Other Logistics Personnel: 230 people, including cleaning, communication management, administrative documentation, building maintenance, vehicle management, and other positions.

After Shen Qingyan finished reporting, Ye Nanxing tapped the table lightly and analyzed calmly:

”Agriculture is the key to long-term survival. We cannot rely solely on stockpiling supplies; we must form our own production system.”

She scanned the crowd, her gaze sharp: ”Starting today, the agricultural group will be prioritized. Planting and breeding must be fully promoted, and preliminary results must be seen within three months.”

”At the same time, the medical center personnel will be reduced, but medical supplies and reserves will not be reduced, ensuring treatment capabilities in wartime.”

She paused, her tone cold: ”All adjustments are to be executed immediately.”

”Any questions?”

Everyone looked at each other and said in unison: ”No!”

In the early hours of November 25, heavy snow fell across the night sky of China.

There was no thunder, no strong wind; snowflakes fell quietly, covering the earth. Overnight, the world seemed to have turned into an ice-sealed realm.

What was even more shocking was that the temperature in most parts of China was still around 8 degrees Celsius yesterday, but overnight, the temperature plummeted to minus 30 degrees, catching everyone off guard.
