The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 1550: Chapter 1567: The Soup She Made Herself 3

He seemed indifferent as he glanced over, then withdrew his gaze, saying somewhat coldly, ”I don’t want to drink it now, please take it away.”

”Nangong Yaoling... I’m sorry, I didn’t expect things...”

”Young Master!” At that moment, the door was pushed open, and Liang Shaozhu struggled to burst in from the doorway. Seeing Xia Xiaonuan, she paused momentarily.

The bodyguards rushed in and, upon seeing Nangong Yaoling’s furious gaze, could only bow their heads awkwardly and apologize, ”Young Master... Sorry, it was Miss Yuzhu who insisted on barging in, we...”

Nangong Yaoling gritted his teeth, ”It’s fine, you all can leave.” His voice was very calm, seemingly devoid of anger, which was completely inconsistent with his murderous gaze, making the bodyguards almost believe they had misheard.

After a few seconds of stiffness, they stammered, ”Yes... Yes, Young Master...”

Liang Yuzhu stepped in front of Xia Xiaonuan, straightened her back, and asked imperiously, ”Why are you here? Xia Xiaonuan, I really don’t know how thick-skinned you are, you caused Young Master harm like this, how do you still have the face to come here?”

Compared to the scent of her perfume, the questioning and aggressiveness on her face were even more repulsive.

Xia Xiaonuan simultaneously noticed she was also holding a lunchbox.

She suddenly felt her vision darkening, paused for a few seconds, seeing that Nangong Yaoling behind her seemed to have no intention of speaking.

She then gritted her teeth and said, ”I’m here to deliver something.” Is it she who made him like this? Is this what he tells others? Well, if said like this, indeed it isn’t wrong.

Xiaonuan thought bitterly.

”Oh?” Liang Yuzhu glanced around the room, and upon seeing the thermal lunchbox on the table, her face changed drastically.

She turned to glare fiercely at Xia Xiaonuan, then quickly walked to Nangong Yaoling.

”Yaoling, I specifically had our chef make chicken soup for you, didn’t you say the soup I sent yesterday was tasty? So I had them make some more.”

Liang Yuzhu spoke, deliberately turning to look smugly at Xia Xiaonuan.

Nangong Yaoling couldn’t help but feel a headache.

He couldn’t recall saying her soup was tasty. Last night, it was his mother who insisted he drink the soup Yuzhu sent, continuously asking him if it tasted good.

Until he perfunctorily said it was tasty.

Actually, he felt it was vastly different compared to what Xiaonuan made.

The soup she made might not be the best, but it always gave him a particular feeling.

Perhaps, when a beloved woman occasionally makes him a dark meal, he would find it a worldly delicacy. What’s more, it was a decent-looking soup, every time he recalled it, it left him wanting more.

He smiled and said, ”Alright, I’ll drink it later.”

”No, drink it now, I’ll feed you.”

Liang Yuzhu spoke, again smugly looking at Xia Xiaonuan, who lowered her head, only staring at her shoes. Liang Yuzhu turned and placed the thermal lunchbox on the table, and since the table was already piled with various fruits, she deliberately pushed Xia Xiaonuan’s thermal lunchbox aside.

”Bang!”

The result was that with an ”accidental” push, the lunchbox fell to the ground. The lid of the lunchbox popped open, and the soup inside splattered out.

The intense aroma of bone broth instantly mingled with the perfume, fruit scent, the odor of Nangong Yaoling, and the smell of disinfectant in the ward.

Scalding soup splashed onto the hospital walls and the cuffs of Xia Xiaonuan’s jeans.
