The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 797: Chapter 817: We Meet Again

Xia Xiaonuan originally thought that Situ Yan would not be happy to see Nangong Feihong leave, but he probably wouldn’t be anxious either. Didn’t he always want Feihong to leave first?

However, she didn’t expect Situ Yan to look as anxious as she was, maybe even more so.

She was a bit surprised but quickly nodded and said, ”Okay, I’ll pack my things right away!”

Airport.

Nangong Yaoling was wearing a black trench coat and sunglasses. His cold, handsome face stood in the middle of the road, instantly attracting many gazes.

Qin Yi, standing beside him, said, ”Young Master, I’ve heard there’s an uprising over there. However, I’ve had people investigate the recent entries and exits of Chinese people there. Although we’ve not yet heard from the Young Madam, I believe you’ll be able to see her shortly after you arrive.”

Nangong Yaoling’s proud chin tensed slightly.

”Let’s hope so.”

The plane slid onto the long runway.

Xia Xiaonuan and Situ Yan arrived at the airport, but they didn’t see Nangong Feihong.

Situ Yan had someone check the early morning return records and, indeed, found the name used by Nangong Feihong’s identity documents.

Xia Xiaonuan breathed a sigh of relief and said, ”Feihong should have returned to the country.” As long as he was safe. Once back in Amelia, she would explain everything to him.

Situ Yan nodded, but his brows were still furrowed. ”We’ll go back together too.”

Xia Xiaonuan looked at him with some surprise but couldn’t help feeling a bit of joy in her heart.

Nangong Yaoling, we’re going to meet soon.

”I’ll... I’ll go to the restroom.”

”Alright, be careful.” Situ Yan replied.

Xia Xiaonuan went to the restroom, approached a passerby, and asked to borrow a phone.

The person generously agreed.

She immediately called Nangong Yaoling.

However, the phone was turned off.

Why was it off? Xia Xiaonuan felt a bit disappointed. She had left these past few days but hadn’t been able to get in touch with him.

What was he doing? Did he not care about her at all?

Feeling a bit desperate, Xia Xiaonuan hung up and then decided to call home.

This time, the call finally connected.

”Hello... Yun... it’s me...”

”Young Madam? You’re okay? You’re still alive, great!” Yun said excitedly from the other end.

”I’m fine, Yun. Where’s Nangong Yaoling?”

Yun was slightly taken aback.

”Young Madam, aren’t you with the Young Master? The Young Master... oh yes, he just took a flight this morning to find you... He said he was going to some city... Karachi... Are you there?”

Upon hearing this, Xia Xiaonuan’s eyes brightened.

”He came to find me? He just left this morning?” Xia Xiaonuan frowned.

If he left this morning, it would probably be tomorrow before he arrived.

If she went back now, wouldn’t they miss each other?

Xia Xiaonuan quickly said, ”I got it, Yun. I’ll hang up now.”

Returning the phone to the passerby, Xia Xiaonuan felt somewhat dazed.

Her emotions were a mix. Nangong Yaoling had come to find her. He had come personally. Didn’t he know there was an uprising here? How could he dare to come?

Xia Xiaonuan walked out of the restroom, about to head back.

Suddenly, she felt the sunlight in front of her blocked. A faint sandalwood scent wafted over.

She raised her eyes and her body suddenly froze.

”Beautiful Chinese girl, we meet again...” Prince Mutaha smiled as he spoke, but there was a hint of malice in his smile.
