The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 789: Chapter 809 Xia Xiaonuan Where Are You

Nangong Feihong finished speaking and suddenly reached out to grab that person’s knife. But after all, the space in the car was limited, and as a result, Feihong’s shoulder was slashed. Blood instantly spurted out.

Xia Xiaonuan screamed, and Nangong Feihong reached out to choke that person’s neck.

The person swung the knife again, trying to slash him.

At this moment, there was a ”bang——” sound.

A gunshot.

Xia Xiaonuan’s heart almost stopped. The knife in that person’s hand fell ”clank——!” to one side, and a bullet had pierced his temple. With wide eyes, he collapsed in front of the car window.

Xia Xiaonuan and Nangong Feihong turned their heads and saw, against the backdrop of a fiery sunset, Situ Yan standing outside the car, holding a handgun with a murderous look on his face.

Xia Xiaonuan clutched her chest, completely relieved.

Situ Yan approached, opened the car door, and looked at Xia Xiaonuan, saying: ”Are you okay?”

Xia Xiaonuan, trembling, crawled out of the car and hugged Situ Yan: ”I’m... I’m fine...” The aura from Situ Yan enveloped her, and for the first time, she felt a sense of safety from this man.

After a while, she hurriedly said: ”Feihong is injured...”

Situ Yan patted her back: ”It’s over now, don’t be afraid!” With that, he placed her aside.

Nangong Feihong rushed out of the car, holding his shoulder.

Situ Yan pulled out a handkerchief from his clothes, tore it forcefully, and wrapped it around Nangong Feihong’s shoulder.

”Hold on a bit, I’ll take you to the hospital right away!”

Nangong Feihong looked at Situ Yan awkwardly: ”You...why are you here?”

Situ Yan glanced coldly at him and Xia Xiaonuan and said: ”After I finished booking the room, I found you were gone. When I came out, you were already in the car, so I followed you in a taxi, worried something might happen.”

Nangong Feihong stubbornly said: ”Even if you saved us, I won’t thank you! I still have to take Xiaonuan away!”

Situ Yan applied a bit more force on his hand, making Nangong Feihong cry out in pain.

”What are you doing?!” he yelled angrily with dissatisfaction.

Situ Yan ignored him, turned around, dragged the driver out of the car, cleaned up the car, and removed the license plate.

He opened the car door and said to Xia Xiaonuan and Nangong Feihong, who were squatting by the side: ”Get in the car.”

In the car, Nangong Feihong said: ”Where did you get the gun? Can you give me one?”

Situ Yan’s mouth curved into a cold smile: ”Give you a gun so you can take me out?”

Xia Xiaonuan’s face darkened.

Nangong Feihong said helplessly: ”You got me in this mess and almost killed me, and now you save me, so I guess we are even! But...if you still want to kidnap Xiaonuan, I won’t be polite with you!”

Situ Yan said: ”The gun was from Gu La; I didn’t expect it to be useful so soon. After we leave the hospital, I’ll take you to the airport. I’ll send you and Xiaonuan back first.”

Xia Xiaonuan couldn’t help but widen her eyes at Situ Yan.

He was willing to let her go?

Situ Yan looked at her through the mirror, his gaze deep and complex.

Nangong Feihong said proudly: ”That’s more like it! Don’t worry, when I return, I’ll ask the Crown Prince to spare your life!”

Situ Yan: ”...”

...

Situ Yan took Nangong Feihong to the hospital to bandage his wound, while Xia Xiaonuan took the opportunity to step out of the hospital and said to a nurse: ”Can I borrow your phone?” She wanted to call Nangong Yaoling.
